Jaguar Land Rover’s woke rebrand has backfired spectacularly, and sadly, its employees are now paying the price.

After recently announcing a staggering 97.5 percent drop in global sales, the company is now look to slash 500 management level jobs less than a year after they launched a major woke rebrand of the company.

Sky News reports:

The UK-based firm said the reduction in management roles, which amounted to 1.5% of its workforce, would be completed through a voluntary redundancy programme.

JLR has been struggling recently off the back of the US trade war. It temporarily paused exports to the US, its biggest single foreign market, in April after Donald Trump’s hike to duties covering cars to 25%.

It was later trimmed to 10% under the US-UK trade truce agreement, but that rate only covers the cars it makes in the UK.

The terms of the deal also cap total annual car exports to the US at 100,000 models, with the higher rate applying to any vehicles over the threshold.

While the company is attempting to pin the drop in sales on President Trump, the real issue lies in its recent woke rebrand.

The once-iconic manufacturer — long associated with power, style, and elegance — has tarnished its image with a misguided advertising campaign aimed at “reimagining” the brand.

Released last November, the ad featured an ethnically diverse and seemingly gender-fluid group of individuals prancing around in bizarre, avant-garde clothing.

Despite the major backlash, Managing Director Rawdon Glover later defended the marketing decision and insisted the company needs to stand out.

“If we play in the same way that everybody else does, we’ll just get drowned out,” he said.

“So we shouldn’t turn up like an auto brand. We need to re-establish our brand and at a completely different price point, so we need to act differently.”

Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer recently said he had made good on a promise to company workers that he would “protect their jobs.”

Sadly for those workers, the typical Jaguar customer does not want a car associated with gender fluidity.

Whether the company can ever recover from this self-inflicted humiliation remains to be seen.

Border Patrol announced the arrest of an unidentified migrant at the Peace Bridge in Buffalo, New York.

According to agents, the man has “multiple DUIs” and a prior arrest for assault.

In a photo shared of him in custody, the man is seen wearing a T-shirt with an American flag, prompting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to point out the irony of his clothing choice.

CBP’s official account on X wrote, “Nice shirt! But it doesn’t erase the fact that you entered the country illegally.”

“CBP officers encountered this individual at the Peace Bridge in NY, he has multiple DUIs and a misdemeanor assault charge. Criminal illegal aliens have no place in the U.S.”

New York State has been a target for CBP.

In June, agents in Buffalo arrested one of Puerto Rico’s most wanted, Raymundo Rondon-Canales, 54. After detaining him, agents discovered that Rondon-Canales was wanted in Puerto Rico and was listed on the most wanted list.

A CBP memo notes, “Rondon-Canales, a convicted felon-sex offender had absconded from Puerto Rico, violating his court order from Guayama Court.”

“This arrest underscores our unwavering commitment to border security and apprehending dangerous fugitives”, said Martin Coombs, Patrol Agent in Charge, Buffalo Station. “The individual in custody, a convicted sex offender on Puerto Rico’s most wanted listed, posed a significant threat to public safety.”

President Trump released a statement on Saturday morning, condemning the “troublemakers and radical left lunatics making the request” after the Justice Department filed a motion for grand jury testimony in the Epstein case.

He noted that the filing is “subject only to Court Approval,” opining that “nothing will be good enough for the troublemakers and radical left lunatics making the request.”

” It will always be more, more, more,” the President said.

This comes after Trump, while still calling the Epstein case a “SCAM, perpetuated by the Democrats,” announced on Thursday that he had asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to release the sealed grand jury transcripts.

Based on the ridiculous amount of publicity given to Jeffrey Epstein, I have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce any and all pertinent Grand Jury testimony, subject to Court approval. This SCAM, perpetuated by the Democrats, should end, right now!

On Thursday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt denied reports that Trump was considering appointing a special prosecutor to handle the Epstein case, saying he “would not recommend a special prosecutor in the Epstein case.”

President Trump has called some Republicans “stupid” and “foolish” for wanting the Epstein files so badly.

“I was surprised, but they got duped,” he said of Republicans who aren’t satisfied with Bondi’s nothingburger of a release and claims that Epstein killed himself.

Meanwhile, Republicans in Congress are introducing legislation to release all of the files.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Attorney General Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche filed a motion asking a federal court to release grand jury transcripts associated with the Epstein cases on Friday.

A driver reportedly plowed through a large crowd outside of a club in Los Angeles early on Saturday morning, injuring more than 30.

According to reports on Civilian, 31 injuries were reported, and gunshots were fired at the scene.

Police identified the shooter as a 5’9″ Hispanic man, wearing a blue jersey with the number 5 on the back.

Per the Associated Press:

Victims were transported to local hospitals and trauma centers, according to Capt. Adam Van Gerpen, public information officer for the Los Angeles City Fire Department. At least three were in critical condition after being injured along Santa Monica Boulevard in East Hollywood, the Fire Department said in a statement.

Van Gerpen said that a line of people — the majority female — were waiting to enter a nightclub when they were struck by a Nissan Versa that also hit a taco truck and valet stand.

Paramedics discovered that one of the patients had a gunshot wound, Van Gerpen said. He told The Associated Press that the identity of that person was not yet known.

“This is under police investigation,” he said. “This will be a large investigation with the LAPD.”

According to the latest update from the LA Fire Department, “Transports include: 7 in critical condition, 6 in serious condition, 10 in fair condition. 7 patients refused transport after assessment on scene.”

An investigation into the incidents is still underway.

After 77 years in California, In-n-Out President Lynsi Snyder sat down with journalist Allie Beth Stuckey to share why her company’s headquarters, and her family, are leaving Gavin Newsom’s destroyed state and heading to Tennessee.

Lynsi Snyder: We’re building an office in Franklin, so I’m actually moving out there.

Allie Beth Stuckey: And how do you feel about that? You’re like a California girl, through and through, right?

Lynsi Snyder: Yeah. I mean, I really loved living in Northern California, and I’m so thankful that I grew up up there because I think it changed a lot of who I am today. I think I would be different if I was raised in Southern California.

But like you said, there’s a lot of great things about California, but raising a family is not easy here. Doing business is not easy here. Now, the bulk of our stores are still going to be here in California, but it will be wonderful having an office out there, growing out there. Totally. And being able to have the family and other people’s families out there. And so in that, it’s two part. We’ll have everybody under one roof here in Walton Park, and we’ll close our fine.

Allie Beth Stuckey: Okay. That’s a big transition. And that’s happening in the next few years, right?

Lynsi Snyder: Yeah. We’ve We’re giving it a longer runway so that it’s smoother for everybody so they can plan and all of that. And we gave them a lot of notice because we love them and we want to make it as easy as possible. But by 2030, we’ll close the Irvine office.

Allie Beth Stuckey: Okay. Okay. So at one point you said that within your lifetime, if you draw a line from Texas, everything to the left, you want in and out there, but not maybe to the right of the line. And you talked about just the importance of the novelty of in and out, that you liked when someone comes into town where there’s an in and out, they’re like, ‘I got to go there,’ which is totally true. That’s what people do, by the way. I’m guessing, though, since you’re going to be to the right of that line, that you’re probably going to be opening up in and outs there. So what does the strategy look like? Has it changed?

Lynsi Snyder: Well, it’s funny. I think Kid Rock, his name is Bob. I think he’s the one that actually drew the new map, and he put the line up from Texas, grabbed Tennessee, went around Tennessee, and back up. I’m like, yeah, that’s how….

So I think for me, it’s the same heart. It’s just, I guess I would say, a man plans in his ways and God makes his steps. So we had a plan, and then he snuck that in there. And I think Florida has begged us, and we’re still saying no. The East Coast states, we’re still saying no.

We’re able to reach Tennessee from our Texas warehouse. So we’re not putting our whole meat facility where we do all of our own beef and send it to our stores, make patties. We’re not going to have that there. Have a warehouse, but not do our own meat there. So we’ll be able to deliver from Texas. So Texas can reach some other states, you know?
