After his meeting with the President of the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., on Tuesday, President Trump announced a new trade deal with the Philippines and, hours later, one with Indonesia. 

Immediately after his meeting concluded, Trump announced that the Philippines will cease all tariffs and pay a 19% tariff on imports to the Untied States. ” In addition, we will work together Militarily. It was a Great Honor to be with the President. He is Highly Respected in his Country, as he should be,” the President said:

It was a beautiful visit, and we concluded our Trade Deal, whereby The Philippines is going OPEN MARKET with the United States, and ZERO Tariffs. The Philippines will pay a 19% Tariff. In addition, we will work together Militarily. It was a Great Honor to be with the President. He is Highly Respected in his Country, as he should be. He is also a very good, and tough, negotiator. We extend our warmest regards to the wonderful people of The Philippines!

Just hours later, President Trump announced another deal with the Republic of Indonesia and President Prabowo Subianto — also with no tariffs on American goods. Indonesia, too, will pay 19% on “all of their products coming into the U.S.A.”

” In addition, Indonesia will supply the United States with their precious Critical Minerals, as well as sign BIG Deals, worth Tens of Billions of Dollars, to purchase Boeing Aircraft, American Farm products, and American Energy. This Deal is a HUGE WIN for our Automakers, Tech Companies, Workers, Farmers, Ranchers, and Manufacturers,” Trump said.

It is my Great Honor to announce our Trade Agreement with the Republic of Indonesia, as represented by their Highly Respected President, Prabowo Subianto. It is agreed that Indonesia will be Open Market to American Industrial and Tech Products, and Agricultural Goods, by eliminating 99% of their Tariff Barriers. As The Gateway Pundit reported, the President also announced a third trade deal with Japan, securing a $550 billion investment in the United States and a Reciprocal Tariff rate of 15% to the United States.

“Japan will invest, at my direction, $550 Billion Dollars into the United States, which will receive 90% of the Profits,” Trump said in a statement. “This Deal will create Hundreds of Thousands of Jobs — There has never been anything like it.”

The Obama Bros are the former staffers and speechwriters behind the ‘Pod Save America’ podcast. They were mentioned in Hunter Biden’s bizarre rant interview this week and they’re not happy about what he said.

In their response, they knock Hunter, saying that he was a liability for his father’s presidency. They bring up his involvement in Burisma and his brief art career. It’s a pretty harsh response.

It’s a reminder that the Democrats are still very divided over the 2024 election and other issues.

“Pod Save America” hosts Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, and Tommy Vietor respond to criticism from Hunter Biden of the Democratic Party replacing President Biden with VP Harris in the 2024 election campaign.

“Imagine how hard it must be for Hunter Biden to watch all these people dining out on somebody’s name,” Lovett joked.

“You were on the board of Burisma because of who your dad is, and that is what people hate about Washington. It was part of the problem,” Vietor said, in response to Hunter Biden’s lengthy interview with “Channel 5.” “It is three hours of Hunter playing the victim.”

“One thing we know is that Hunter Biden, throughout Joe Biden’s presidency, was a terrible liability for him,” Lovett said. “Addiction aside, it was because he was on Burisma, because he became an artist, because he was part of a kind of sleazy Washington that people hated.”

“You were a liability,” he said to Hunter. “You should be ashamed of the ways in which you made your father’s political life worse. And the idea that we’re going to listen to you now—give me a break. It’s ridiculous.”

A New York man was arrested and charged after building at least seven bombs and stashing them on rooftops and subway tracks.

Michael Gann, 55, was taken into custody last month and on Tuesday was charged by prosecutors in the Southern District of New York.

According to prosecutors, Michael Gann “manufactured at least seven improvised explosive devices (“IEDs”) using precursor chemicals—chemicals that can be combined to create an explosive mixture—that he had ordered on the internet, stored at least five IEDs and shotgun shells on adjoining rooftops of residential apartment buildings in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, threw at least one IED onto the subway tracks of the Williamsburg Bridge, and subsequently lied to law enforcement about having disposed of his explosives and supplies in a dumpster.”

Gann tossed one of the IEDs on the subway tracks on the Williamsburg Bridge.

“Michael Gann allegedly produced multiple improvised explosive devices intended for use in Manhattan,” said FBI Assistant Director in Charge Christopher G. Raia. “Due to the successful partnership of law enforcement agencies in New York, Gann was swiftly brought to justice before he could harm innocent civilians shortly after his dangerous actions became known. The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force is enduring in its commitment and determination to protect the homeland.”

According to the DOJ: Gann is charged with “one count of attempted destruction of property by means of explosives, which carries a mandatory minimum of five years in prison and a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison; one count of transportation of explosive materials, which carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison; and one count of unlawful possession of destructive devices, which also carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.”
