A man named Mohamed Mohamed raped an unconscious woman in front of a Nashville, Tennessee, church in the 2600 block of Nolensville Pike on Thursday night.

According to the Nashville police, the victim is a 34-year-old homeless woman.

A Nashville Fire Department crew saw a man sexually assaulting a woman on a sidewalk in front of the church so they pulled up to the scene to detain the assaulter and help the victim.

The victim was transported to a hospital, where she died.

Per the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department:

A Nashville Fire Department crew (Engine 21) traveling on Nolensville Pike just after 9:30 p.m. enroute to a call saw the sexual assault taking place on a sidewalk in front of the church. They turned around and chirped their siren. As they pulled up to the sidewalk, Mohamed was attempting to pull up the unconscious victim’s pants. The fire crew detained Mohamed, called for police and rendered aid to the victim. MNPD Homicide, Special Victims, and Narcotics detectives responded to the scene.

Surveillance video shows the victim by herself walking unsteadily toward the front steps of the church. She was unable to keep her balance and sat down on a step, appearing to be under the influence of some type of substance. Mohamed approached and sat down beside her. Mohamed made physical contact with the victim as she went in and out of consciousness as she tried to push him away. He ultimately lifted her off the steps, put her on the ground, and repeatedly sexually assaulted her.

Mohamed refused to be interviewed after being taken to police headquarters. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $300,000. The investigation is continuing as detectives await information from the Medical Examiner’s Office on the victim’s cause of death. She carried no identification. An attempt is being made to identify her through fingerprints.

Was Executive Order on Homelessness Intended to Expand Forced Psychiatric Treatment?

The President’s recent Executive Order (EO), Ending Vagrancy and Restoring Order, broadens the definition of “mental illness” to include the homeless, funneling the homeless back into  the psychiatric industry that most likely played a role in the crisis.

The EO is not reform. Recycling human lives through a profit-driven machine that exploits human desperation, trapping millions in a relentless cycle of abandonment has been tried and failed. One must wonder who is advising the President to take such extreme and inhumane measures? Could it be the very industry that will benefit from the increased funding that comes with the EO?

The failure of America’s behavioral health industry is not just a policy flaw—it is a catastrophic betrayal. A ruthless monopoly has taken hold, placed profits far above human lives and left hundreds of thousands of vulnerable Americans abandoned and homeless on the streets. Behind this broken system, major vendors, policymakers, and entrenched interests wield legal shields to evade accountability while pushing dangerous psychiatric drugs that devastate lives.

A stark example is Henderson Behavioral Health in Florida. For years, Henderson treated Nikolas Cruz, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooter in Parkland Fla., with powerful psychiatric drug cocktails but ignored repeated warning signs, labeling him “not a risk.” After years on toxic psychiatric drugs, Cruz turned to street Xanax (benzodiazepine) before murdering 17 innocent people. Families who sued faced cold court dismissals protecting providers from liability—even when negligence was clear. This immunity is no accident—it is an impenetrable systemic shield for the behavioral health industry.

One of behavioral health’s most shameful abuses is patient dumping.  In 2013, Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital in Las Vegas was found to have discharged over 1,500 psychiatric patients.  It was dubbed “Greyhound Therapy” where psychiatric patients were given one-way bus tickets out of Nevada between 2008 and 2013. The discharge orders for one patient should be given a three-day supply of Thorazine, Klonopin and Cymbalta to treat his schizophrenia, anxiety disorder and depression, plus “Ensure and snacks for a 15-hour bus ride.”  Dozens ended up in New York and California.  Other states participated in the patient dumping practice as well when benefits ran out.  In New York, hospitals discharged psychiatric patients onto the streets, sometimes clad only in paper gowns, with no follow-up care. Courts condemned these acts as unlawful and inhumane, yet liability shields still remain and penalties are very low and contracts are almost never cancelled. In fact Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital did not lose their Medicaid Contract.  The broad neglect continues in new forms. This is a major contributing factor to homelessness.

No one denies the problem of homelessness is urgent and painful. But turning to the same industry that helped create the crisis to “solve it” is insanity. Th EO removes legal barriers to forced commitment and expands mental illness to cover homelessness. There is no doubt that some were diagnosed mentally ill in school and put on psychiatric drugs that contributed to the inability to fully function in society and will probably continue given that one in four Americans take at least one prescription mind-altering psychiatric drug.

The dark history of mental health institution shutdowns goes back to the Willowbrook State School Supreme Court ruling in New York. Willowbrook was a hellscape exposed in the 1970s for abuse and neglect. It closed with promises of humane community care, but psychiatry only rebranded. Walls fell, but endless drug cocktails and soaring costs remained. Behavioral health companies grew, went public, ousting local clinics, hiking costs, and lowering care quality. Emergency rooms overflowed; jails became mental institutions. Homelessness among treated patients rose.

Whistleblowers call this the “quieter horror”—vulnerable people dying alone in waiting rooms or overdosed on dangerous drugs while billions are spent annually on ineffective psychiatric drug treatments.

Military and veteran mental health care is not spared. Robert Card, under military oversight, was ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation and treated with mind-altering drugs just weeks before committing a mass shooting. The military faces lawsuits for failed care—not the vendor, Four Winds Hospital. The state of Montana even outsources rebuilding its mental health department to China, raising alarming concerns about oversight and sovereignty.

Central to these crisis’s are entrenched legal shields. Courts affirm mental health providers owe no special duty to protect third parties from patient violence. These protectors embolden a ruthless monopoly prioritizing profit and survival over patient safety and public welfare.

Patient dumping, once condemned, still haunts this system. The U.S. Second Circuit Court ruled hospitals must ensure safe transitions—not just clear beds. Yet liability protections persist, allowing neglect to continue.

Today’s so-called “solutions,” embodied by sweeping executive orders, deepen forced, profit-driven treatment and expand government control. The EO betrays dignity and traps millions in coercive systems protecting monopolies, not healing humans.

In the 1970s, Dr. Loren Mosher’s Soteria Project offered a humane, home-like treatment for first-episode psychosis using minimal medication. It outperformed hospitals but was defunded for threatening pharmaceutical profits. Mosher resigned from the American Psychiatric Association, calling it the “American Psychopharmacological Association.”

The way forward is to elevate humane perspectives, including those of Mosher, Dr. Peter Breggin, and the dissenting voices raised at the recent FDA’s SSRI and pregnancy hearings, that highlighted the dangers of the psychiatric drug model.

The industry’s legacy is a ruthless cycle of abandonment and addiction. Providers take taxpayer money, maximize profits, and destroy lives with impunity. Until liability shields like those protecting Henderson are removed, true provider competition enforced, psychiatric drug violence tracked, and proven community models funded, this tragedy will repeat.

History shows what happens when psychiatry and government unite: rights vanish, lives are controlled, and the powerless silenced. This EO reeks of powerful pharmaceutical insider intervention, not care. Instead of truly addressing homelessness, this executive order expands forced psychiatric control under the guise of care, driven by profit and coercion.

South Carolina and Ohio have pledged to send hundreds of National Guard troops to Washington, DC, amid President Trump’s federal takeover and clampdown on crime and homelessness in the district. 

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster authorized the deployment of 200 troops, and Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has authorized 150 troops.

“South Carolina is proud to stand with President Trump as he works to restore law and order to our nation’s capital and ensure safety for all who live, work, and visit there,” Governor Henry McMaster said in a press release. “As our National Guard works to support President Trump’s mission, should a hurricane or natural disaster threaten our state, these men and women can and will be immediately recalled home to respond.”

Governor Mike Dewine also released a statement, saying, “We have been asked by the Secretary of the Army to send 150 military police from the Ohio National Guard to support the District of Columbia National Guard. These Ohio National Guard members will carry out presence patrols and serve as added security.” He added, “None of these military police members are currently serving as law enforcement officers in the state of Ohio.”

Trump announced on Monday that he is taking federal control over Washington, DC’s Metropolitan Police Department and authorizing the use of National Guard troops to solve the “public safety emergency” in the nation’s capital.

The President signed two executive actions on Monday, including an executive order, declaring a “crime emergency” and invoking powers under section 740 of the DC Home Rule Act, which allows the President to take control of the Metropolitan Police Department under “special conditions of an emergency nature.”

He also signed a Presidential memorandum directing the Secretary of Defense to utilize National Guard troops to clean up DC and authorize state governors to send their National Guard troops. “We will bring in the military if it’s needed,” Trump told reporters.

As the Gateway Pundit reported, West Virginia, at the direction of Governor Patrick Morrisey, first deployed 300 to 400 troops to Washington, DC, to assist the President in making Washington, DC, safe again.

“The men and women of our National Guard represent the best of our state, and this mission reflects our shared commitment to a strong and secure America,” Governor Morrisey said in a press release from his office.

On Saturday, it was reported that more than 240 criminals, including illegal aliens, murderers, and rapists, had been arrested since President Trump federalized the DC police and flooded the capital with federal law enforcement on Monday.

Russian President Vladimir Putin opened up on Sunday about his “very frank” discussion with President Trump in Anchorage about ending the War in Ukraine.

Putin made the remarks in front of Russian officials back in Moscow.

Vladimir Putin: “I would like to point out that visit was a timely and very useful visit.

We spoke about the entire direction of our interaction, but first of all, we spoke about the possible resolution of the Ukrainian crisis on a fair basis. And, of course, we had the opportunity that we would talk about the genesis, the causes of this crisis, and it is the removal of these first causes must be placed on the basis of regulation.

I repeat, we had the opportunity to go in detail and to once again, to express our position. We Of course, with respect to our position, are in the position of the US administration, which sees the need for the soonest cease of combat. We also would like to. The CIA and FBI are often depicted in movies for their roles in defending the nation against espionage and attacks by adversaries like China. Less recognized, however, is the critical role played by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in national security.

In August, the DOE announced nearly $1 billion in funding opportunities to strengthen the United States’ critical minerals and materials supply chains. Launched under President Trump’s Executive Order on Unleashing American Energy, the initiative aims to reduce dependence on foreign suppliers by boosting domestic mining, processing, and manufacturing.

Energy Secretary Chris Wright emphasized that reshoring critical material production is essential for national security, energy independence, and industrial competitiveness, noting that “for too long, the United States has relied on foreign actors to supply and process the critical materials that are essential to modern life and our national security.”

The funding will be spread across several strategic initiatives. A $50 million Critical Minerals and Materials Accelerator will advance technologies for rare-earth magnets, semiconductors, lithium extraction, and byproduct recovery. The Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains will provide up to $135 million to enhance domestic refining and recovery of rare earth elements, requiring partnerships with academic institutions.

Another $250 million program will pilot the recovery of valuable minerals from industrial processes, including coal-based industries, to reduce risks at commercial scale. In addition, $500 million will go toward battery materials processing, manufacturing, and recycling to expand domestic capacity for lithium, nickel, graphite, copper, and other key inputs.

The DOE’s Advanced Research Projects Agency–Energy (ARPA-E) will also invest $40 million through its RECOVER program to extract critical minerals from industrial wastewater, complementing traditional mining.

The U.S. Department of Energy plays a critical but often overlooked role in national security. Beyond energy production, its responsibilities include maintaining the nuclear deterrent, protecting energy infrastructure, leading cybersecurity and emergency response efforts, and managing strategic resources.

Through the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), the Department oversees nuclear weapons stewardship, as well as nuclear propulsion for the U.S. Navy, and the security of dangerous nuclear materials worldwide.

Energy security is further reinforced by the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR), the world’s largest emergency crude oil supply. Stored in Gulf Coast salt caverns, the SPR has an authorized capacity of 714 million barrels; as of March 2025, it held 395.3 million barrels, equal to about 19 days of U.S. consumption or 47 days of imports. Recent bipartisan legislation seeks to ban SPR sales to adversaries such as China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea, underscoring its strategic importance.

The Department is also investing nearly $1 billion to strengthen domestic critical mineral supply chains, expanding mining, processing, and manufacturing capacity for rare earths, semiconductors, and battery inputs. These programs aim to reduce reliance on foreign suppliers, secure key industries, and counter China’s dominance in global critical minerals markets.

The Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER) leads the Department of Energy’s efforts to strengthen the resilience of U.S. energy infrastructure. As the Sector Risk Management Agency, CESER coordinates with intelligence and law enforcement to defend against physical and cyber threats. The urgency of this mission is underscored by an 80% increase in ransomware attacks on the energy sector in 2024.

China poses the most significant and sophisticated threat, operating through coordinated cyber campaigns designed to disrupt U.S. infrastructure. The most serious example is the Volt Typhoon campaign, in which Chinese state-sponsored actors compromised the IT environments of critical infrastructure across the continental U.S. and territories, including Guam.

According to CISA, NSA, and FBI assessments, Volt Typhoon intrusions were based on pre-positioning for destructive action, with hackers moving from IT networks toward operational technology systems.

The campaign’s scale was revealed when Chinese hackers remained inside the U.S. electric grid for 300 days in 2023. At the Littleton Electric Light & Water Department in Massachusetts, they spent nearly a year undetected, exfiltrating data on operational technology procedures and grid layouts before the FBI alerted the utility.

Such information would allow adversaries to know exactly where and how to launch destructive attacks. Reports from a December 2023 Geneva summit suggest Chinese officials indirectly admitted to these operations, which U.S. counterparts concluded were meant to deter American involvement in a Taiwan conflict.

China’s cyber threat has extended even further. In July 2025, state-sponsored groups identified as Linen Typhoon, Violet Typhoon, and Storm-2603 breached the National Nuclear Security Administration, directly compromising America’s nuclear security apparatus. Beyond cyberattacks, physical vulnerabilities are also a concern.

Undocumented radios discovered in Chinese-made solar inverters highlight risks within the hardware that connects solar panels and batteries to the U.S. grid, creating a vast potential attack surface.

American security officials warn these activities represent deliberate preparation for destructive action. Then-FBI Director Christopher Wray stated in 2024 that “China’s hackers are positioning on American infrastructure in preparation to wreak havoc and cause real-world harm.” Former NSA Director Mike Rogers added in May 2025 that Beijing clearly values placing elements of U.S. core infrastructure at risk of disruption or destruction.
