NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tish provides update on Brooklyn shooting
A shooting at the Taste of the City Lounge in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, left three victims dead and eight wounded early on Sunday morning.
The shooting at 903 Franklin Avenue happened at approximately 3 am ET.
The eight victims who survived are being treated at local hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries.
The victims, eight males and three females, range in age from 27 to 61, according to officials who briefed the media this morning.
The three deceased include one 27-year-old male, one 35-year-old male, and one male of an unknown age.
NYPD Police Commissioner Jessica Tish provided an update during a press conference this morning.

The NYPD is currently looking for multiple gunmen. Nobody had been taken into custody as of Sunday morning.
Investigators said a dispute inside the crowded club led to the gunfire involving multiple shooters.
Police recovered at least 36 shell casings.
They recovered a firearm in the vicinity of Bedford Avenue and Eastern Parkway, but are still investigating at this time whether this firearm was tied to the shooting incident.
There was another non-fatal shooting at this same lounge in November 2024.
Second Video Surfaces of Michigan Democrat City Councilman Allegedly Stuffing Ballots in the Dead of Night

A second surveillance video has emerged showing Hamtramck City Councilman Abu Musa, a Democrat from Wayne County, Michigan, allegedly engaging in late-night ballot-stuffing operations just days before the August primary.
Click on Detroit obtained over 800 hours of surveillance footage through a FOIA request, revealing two disturbing incidents.
In the first video, a black pickup truck pulls up to Hamtramck City Hall in the dead of night.
The footage shows three men inside, including what appears to be Councilman Musa in the backseat, while the driver is aggressively stuffing bundled absentee ballots into the dropbox.
Only four days later, a second clip shows Musa in the passenger seat of a different vehicle, handing over three large stacks of ballots to the driver, who then deposits them into the dropbox, according to Click on Detroit.
Michigan State Police have confirmed that these videos are now part of an active criminal investigation, which is being compiled for potential referral to prosecutors.

The incidents occurred shortly before the primary election, where Musa emerged as the top contender for City Council, receiving 1,129 votes.
These revelations come amid heightened scrutiny of electoral practices in Hamtramck.
Two other city council members were recently charged with election fraud related to the 2023 race, involving similar allegations of bundled ballot submissions.
Earlier investigations also named Musa and Mohammed Al‑Somiri as persons of interest among several council members suspected of conspiracy to obtain unvoted absentee ballots from naturalized citizens, fill them out improperly, and sway election outcomes.
Four of the six members of the Hamtramck City Council, along with a former member, are under criminal investigation for conspiracy and election fraud related to the illegal acquisition of absentee ballots. This is according to official documents recently released by the Michigan Attorney General’s Office, which requested the appointment of a special prosecutor last month due to the “religious and social sensitivity” of the case.
The investigation involves Council members Mohammed Hassan, Muhtasin Rahman Sadman, Mohammed Al-Somiri and Abu Musa, in addition to former Council member Nayeem Choudhury, who lost his re-election bid in
2023. A sixth individual added to the investigation is Tyronne Slappey, though his connection to the local government of this culturally and racially diverse city remains unclear.
A petition filed on March 10 by Danielle Hagaman-Clark, assistant attorney general and head of the Criminal Investigations Division, accuses the six individuals of “conspiring to obtain unmarked absentee ballots signed by newly naturalized citizens, then filling them out with their own candidate choices” during the 2023 City Council election. The petition also states that some suspects “paid money for votes and coerced others to claim residence at addresses they did not actually live in” to sway election outcomes.

I am massively excited to announce that triple-amputee Air Force veteran Brian Kolfage has been freed from prison. He is back in his home state of Florida. Brian arrived in Florida by plane on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
Having headed up the movement to get Brian freed on compassionate release, and a pardon from President Trump, I knew Brian would be freed on this date for about a month, but he told me we couldn’t say anything because leftists would try to screw up his release. It was a tough secret to keep I’ll tell you that.
Brian emailed me from prison a few days before letting me know it was all a go and that he would indeed be freed from prison.

Triple-amputee Air Force veteran Brian Kolfage is slowly dying in a federal prison. The lack of proper care for this war hero is shocking, egregious, and infuriating.
Kolfage was wrongfully imprisoned by the infamous SDNY Democrat operatives over being paid an approved salary for his part in getting miles of privately funded border wall built in Texas and New Mexico.

Kolfage was sentenced to 51 months by the same DOJ operation that targeted Trump. Stephen K. Bannon was pardoned by President Trump for these same charges. Following the pardon, Alvin Bragg charged Bannon through the state of New York.
Kolfage founded We Build the Wall to build border walls when the government would not because of Democratic Party obstruction.
I’ve worked with Brian since 2015, and he brought me on to We Build the Wall as the photographer and news editor. I filmed construction of our border wall from start to finish. Below is a short clip from when we were about a third of the way done.
Kolfage sent me the following message to share with the public. Because he is a triple-amputee veteran, and the “most severely wounded Airman to survive any war,” he requires special attention to his medical needs, which are not being provided in the prison.
From Kolfage:
I have to shit in a plastic pan that’s not even a bedpan. I can’t use the toilets because they are too unsafe and I have fallen off them. I have to urinate into a plastic jug too.
They have nothing for my body to stay physically healthy, they have never dealt with a triple amputee like myself. Because of their inability to care for me long-term, I’m now pre-diabetic, my livers are inflamed, my blood pressure is high, and my cholesterol is also now high. Everything they are doing to me is fucking me up internally and my organs are all having problems. The doctor here last week said I’m at a high risk for a heart attack now. This is 100% on them. I came in here healthy.
I was told I needed to see a hand surgeon now. They have ruined my last remaining limb. Like the government hasn’t taken enough of my body, they want my last remaining limb. The overuse of my hand here has destroyed it, my fingers get stuck and don’t bend. If my tendons rupture, my hand will never work again like it should. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!
The doctor here had me taken to Mayo Hospital a few months ago because I’m in the wrong wheelchair, and it’s causing my daily excruciating sciatic nerve pain. The Mayo doctor said I needed a certain wheelchair, and the FBOP physical therapist who came with me told them right there on the spot “We don’t have funds for that”. They won’t even let me use my VA insurance to get what I need. This pain is so excruciating, it feels like when I lost my limbs in Iraq. To this day, they haven’t done anything except get me a different wheelchair cushion.
I haven’t had a proper shower in over a year since I arrived, I use baby wipes. This is also because they do not have the appropriate shower accessibility for a triple amputee. This is unacceptable!
They haven’t given me the proper meds for my pain; they said it’s against their policy, so they feed me highly addictive Oxys instead, which still don’t work. However, they give these specific meds to other inmates who have drug problems. So they wanted me to lie and say I did have a problem just to get the correct medication, which I’m not going to say.
These people are not able to care for me and my internal health is going to shit. They are way out of their league. This shouldn’t be a death sentence on my life, but slowly it’s turning to that!
Arizona Congressman Paul Gosar has been fighting for Kolfage’s freedom from day one. Gosar made this statement to then-House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi in 2022.

earned a Purple Heart and is the most wounded airman ever to have
survived a war in the history of our country.

Brian Kolfage’s service to country did not end with his military
valor. Incredibly, he ran a private organization that helped build 3 miles of border wall along the Rio Grande river, a place where construction is difficult due to the great potential for erosion.

So how do our corrupt elites treat this hero? They respond like they
did to the many peaceful protesters on January 6, to the pro-life
protesters facing over 10 years for trying to save the unborn, or to
anyone who disagrees with their globalist, America-last agenda. They
persecute them; they make their lives a living hell; they ruin them.

As our ruling elites were not happy that the illegal hordes could not
continue to stream across the border, they activated their deep-state
machinery and sent their secret police to arrest Airman Kolfage.

Fifteen Federal law enforcement goons dragged him out of his house
without a wheelchair, subjecting him to utter humiliation and pain in
front of his family. No thought whatsoever was given to his disabled
status. And in prison, the VA refused him pain medications, without
which he suffers unbearable pain.

Mr. Kolfage had worked tirelessly, 12 hours a day, for several years
to get this 3-mile section of wall built. He ran and operated the
organization that got it done.
For taking a salary, the Federal Government arrested him, saying he had no right to get paid anything
because his website said any money raised would go to build the wall.
In my view, he was part of getting the wall built. There was nothing
wrong with him getting a salary and saying the money would be used to
build the wall. Without him, it would not have been complete, and no
real American would object to a man getting paid to devote himself to a
selfless project like this one and succeeding.

Airman Kolfage was just intimidated into taking a plea deal by our
third-world, kangaroo-court judicial system. This veteran and activist
should be celebrated as a hero in so many ways. Instead, he will rot in
a Federal prison. A greater injustice is hard to imagine. To his wife,
Ashley, and two children, my heart goes out to them. I am praying for
them all. Please know that I will continue to fight against the
injustice done to her husband.”

As you can see, what is happening to this hero is sickening, and cannot stand. I will be organizing a movement to get Kolfage freed from prison. It will most likely be in the same vein as the rallies at Mexican consulates I organized to get combat Marine vet, Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, freed from the Mexican prison after he was arrested for accidentally crossing the border with a firearm.

Trump Should Send the National Guard to New York City

President Trump’s decision to deploy the National Guard to Washington, D.C., shows that he is willing to take decisive action to protect Americans.
Now he must do the same in New York City, a city that has spiraled into lawlessness, corruption, and radical politics.
If Washington deserves the Guard to restore order, then New York—plagued with violent crime, collapsing public safety, and a mayor-elect who calls himself a socialist—needs it even more.
New York has seen a sharp rise in crime over the last several years. In 2022, major crimes increased by 22% compared to the year before. Grand larceny was up 26%, burglary 27%, and car thefts nearly doubled.
By 2023, murders and shootings dipped slightly from pandemic-era highs, but overall crime remained well above pre-COVID levels. According to NYPD data, there were more than 126,000 felony arrests in the city in 2023. That is not the profile of a safe community—it is the profile of a city in decline.

What is even worse is the sense of fear ordinary New Yorkers feel on the streets. Every week, new videos surface of brazen robberies in daylight, assaults on subways, and organized mobs looting stores.
Businesses are shutting down not because of a lack of customers, but because their employees are scared to walk to work.
Families avoid the subway at night, and even in daylight many prefer to pay for expensive rideshares rather than risk being trapped underground.
The NYPD is underfunded, demoralized, and increasingly restrained by politicians who view police as the enemy. Criminals, on the other hand, are treated like victims.
District attorneys such as Alvin Bragg refuse to prosecute serious crimes, reducing felonies to misdemeanors or dropping cases altogether.
Repeat offenders are released onto the streets within hours, free to commit the same crimes again. This is not a functioning justice system. It is a revolving door for criminals.
In that environment, only federal action can restore security. Trump was right to send in the Guard to D.C. to show that the government has the strength to protect its citizens.
New York needs the same. The National Guard can do what the city’s political leadership refuses to do: enforce the law, restore order, and make it clear that crime will not be tolerated.
The timing is urgent because New York is about to get even more radical leadership.
The incoming mayor, Zohran Mamdani, does not even hide his ideology. He openly describes himself as a socialist, but his policies resemble old-style communism: government control of housing, attacks on private property, and hostility toward the very people who create jobs.
Mamdani has made clear that he wants to cut police funding even further, expand “restorative justice” programs that put criminals back on the streets, and prioritize ideological crusades over basic safety.
That agenda will accelerate the city’s collapse. It is already difficult enough for families to live in New York, with skyrocketing rents, high taxes, and rampant homelessness.
Add unchecked crime to the equation, and more middle-class families will flee. Businesses will follow. The city risks returning to the dark days of the 1970s and 1980s, when crime, bankruptcy, and political extremism drove New York to the brink.
Trump has the power to stop this. He should not wait until the situation deteriorates further. A National Guard deployment would send a clear message that New York is not going to be surrendered to criminals and radicals.
It would also give confidence to residents that their government values their safety over political games.
Democrats will argue that deploying the Guard is heavy-handed or undemocratic.
But what is undemocratic is allowing law-abiding citizens to live in fear while politicians protect criminals.
What is heavy-handed is letting gangs dominate neighborhoods while hardworking families suffer. Public safety is not negotiable—it is the foundation of freedom.
Trump has proven that he is willing to challenge failed leadership and take action where others hesitate.
By sending the National Guard into New York City, he would not only clean up the streets but also demonstrate that socialism, corruption, and crime will not define America’s greatest city.
