In a move to safeguard American elections, Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon of the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division has revealed that multiple states are withholding critical Social Security number data tied to voter registrations.

On Saturday, Dhillon announced plans to sue non-compliant states to force transparency and purge potential fraud from voter rolls.

“The government provides SSNs for voter registration verification. Any SOS hiding behind ‘protect your privacy’ claims is faking and doesn’t care about election integrity,” Dhillon wrote in a post on X, along with a video with further explanation.

Dhillon added that the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division will “obtain those voter rolls—voluntarily or through lawsuit!”

“Some of the arguments we’ve heard include, ‘why are you asking for the Social Security number? That’s top secret information,’” Dhillon stated in the video. “The federal government ISSUES the Social Security numbers. It is not top secret information from us! And we are going to either get these voluntarily or SUE!”

The announcement comes amid the DOJ’s ongoing nationwide effort to obtain full voter registration lists from states, which include partial Social Security numbers (SSNs), driver’s license numbers, birth dates, names, and addresses.

This data is essential for verifying voter eligibility and ensuring only citizens participate in elections, according to DOJ officials.

So far, the Justice Department has filed lawsuits against 24 states and the District of Columbia for failing to provide the requested voter data.

“This Department of Justice has now sued 24 states for failing to provide voter roll data and will continue filing lawsuits to protect American elections,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi in a press release on Friday. “Accurate voter rolls are the foundation of election integrity, and any state that fails to meet this basic obligation of transparency can expect to see us in court.”

“Accurate voter rolls are essential to ensuring that American citizens’ votes count only once, and only with other eligible voters,” added Dhillon. “The Justice Department is committed to safeguarding fair and free elections, and will hold states accountable when they refuse to respect our federal elections laws.”

Jay Jones was sworn in as Virginia’s new attorney general on Saturday at the state Capitol in Richmond after winning the race despite leaked texts in which he fantasized about the children of conservatives being murdered.

Jones was sworn in at the inauguration of Democrat Governor Abigail Spanberger, a former CIA agent.

President Donald Trump had called for Jones to drop out of the race after the texts were made public, but Democrats rallied behind him.

In one shocking exchange, Jones fantasized about putting “two bullets to the head” of then-Republican House Speaker Todd Gilbert in a hypothetical scenario comparing him to dictators like Hitler and Pol Pot.

Jones didn’t stop there; he went even further, expressing a twisted wish that one of Gilbert’s children would die in a school shooting to change Gilbert’s stance on gun control.

“I wish one of his kids would get shot up at school and die. Then maybe he’d change his mind,” Jones wrote, adding grotesque details about imagining the child “lying lifeless in their mother’s arms.”

Vice President JD Vance also called for Jones to step aside.

“The Democrat candidate for AG in Virginia has been fantasizing about murdering his political opponents in private messages,” Vance wrote in a post on X during the election season. “I’m sure the people hyperventilating about sombrero memes will join me in calling for this very deranged person to drop out of the race.”

At the inauguration ceremony, the judge asked, “You ready?”

“Yeah, baby,” Jones responded, before being sworn in.

It was a day of tokens for the Democrats.

Spanberger was the first woman to be sworn in as governor, Ghazala Hashmi was the first person born in India to be sworn in as lieutenant governor, and Jones was the first black person to become the state’s attorney general.

Over $1 million has been raised on online fundraising platforms for Jonathan Ross, the ICE agent who justly shot and killed radical left protester Renee Good in a strong showing of solidarity with law enforcement. 

Ross fatally shot Good last week in self-defense after she tried to run him down with her vehicle in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Crazed leftists are now rioting on behalf of criminal illegal aliens.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, National Guard troops have been mobilized in Minneapolis as rioting and clashes with law enforcement continue. President Trump has threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act in Minnesota.

Ross reportedly suffered internal bleeding in the torso after he was hit by Good’s car.

Ross was further doxxed on the internet, and federal agents were reportedly seen removing items from his home as he and his family are speculated to be in hiding.

Despite the liberal outrage over the incident, the 77 million people who voted for President Trump to send ICE into communities across the nation and deport illegal aliens banded together and have raised nearly $1.1 million for the heroic officer.

Two main online fundraising campaigns for Ross have crossed the $1 million mark combined. One GoFundMe campaign organized by Clyde Emmons, which stated, “After seeing all the media bs about a domestic terrorist getting go fund me. I feel that the officer that was 1000 percent justified in the shooting deserves to have a go fund me.” That has raised $762,767.

Another fundraiser on GiveSendGo, put together by Tom Hennessey, titled, “Stand with our brave ICE hero,” has also raised $285,098. The two fundraisers mean that Ross has become a millionaire in the face of mounting pressure against him after the shooting of Good.

The top donation on the GoFundMe, totaling $10,000, was from billionaire Bill Ackman, who said that the shooting was a “tragedy.”

The Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice has yet to open a probe into the shooting of Good in the wake of her death but is usually the department to do so in law enforcement-involved shootings. Leading up to the shooting, Good, as well as her partner, Becca, had been blocking traffic with their car in an effort to obstruct ICE agents.

The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively on Renee Good’s effort to kill an ICE agent with her vehicle and her death.

In addition to other footage exonerating the agent, recently unveiled cell phone footage from the scene shows Good accelerating her vehicle as her wife cheered her on, shouting, “Drive, baby! Drive!”

U.S. Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino has exposed the escalating violence perpetrated by leftist anarchists in Minneapolis, which now includes targeting innocent American citizens whose vehicles they mistakenly believe belong to ICE or Border Patrol.

People driving trucks and SUVs are being chased and followed by protesters honking their horns, yelling at them, and blowing whistles.

Bovino warned of the escalation while speaking to NewsNation’s Ali Bradley on Saturday.

“If they even think you’re law enforcement, then you’re getting it also,” Bovino warned.

He accurately described the agitators as “anarchists,” “rioters,” and “bad people,” who “wish to harm law enforcement.”

In one incident of this, the owner of Arborgold, a tree trimming service in the Twin Cities posted that they were being harassed by the protesters.

“Driving through town, and a convoy of vehicles started following, honking their horns and blowing whistles on every corner, trying to warn people we are ICE. I’m not ICE I’m just a tree trimmer with a really big truck,” the owner wrote, along with a video, posted to TikTok on January 11.

Violence from rioters has been continuous in Minneapolis since the deployment of thousands of ICE agents in December.

In one brazen overnight attack, 14 federal vehicles parked at a hotel were vandalized, with graffiti and damage that left them inoperable.

Protesters even smashed into unmarked FBI SUVs, ripping out a locked weapons container using a tow rope and a pickup truck, then looting it while livestreaming the dox of federal agents.

The White House has pointed the finger squarely at Democrats for fueling this mayhem.

“The Democrat Party has demeaned these individuals,” Leavitt said Thursday regarding the treatment of immigration officers by leftist lunatics. “They’ve even referred to them as ‘Nazis’ and as ‘the Gestapo.’ And that is absolutely leading to the violence we’re seeing in the streets.”

“If you look at some of the images out of Minneapolis last night, look at this vehicle, look at what it says,” Leavitt continued. “It says, ‘F ICE.’ You have these individuals who are putting their middle finger, proudly so, at the camera, another ICE individual, a vehicle that was vandalized last night by these left wing agitators.”

Leavitt concluded, “These people don’t do this without encouragement from people in power who make them feel like it’s OK.”
