President Trump on Thursday said his administration has launched an investigation into the deaths and disappearances of 10 US scientists.

“There are these 10 missing scientists with access to classified stuff, nuclear material, aerospace. They’ve all gone missing or turned up dead in the last couple months,” a reporter said to President Trump.

“Well, I hope it’s random, but we’re going to know in the next week and a half. I just left a meeting on that subject,” Trump said.

“So pretty serious stuff, but we’re going to be now hopefully, I don’t know, coincidence if you want it, whatever you want to call it. But some of them were very important people and we’re going to look at it,” Trump added.

The following 10 US scientists have died or gone missing over the past few years (via Fox News):

Neil McCasland disappeared on February 27, 206.

“McCasland held senior roles in space research and acquisition, including leadership positions at the Air Force Research Laboratory and the National Reconnaissance Office, according to the Air Force. He held senior roles at the Pentagon and commanded the Phillips Research Site of the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico, and the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, according to the Air Force,” Fox News reported.

Monica Jacinto Reza: Disappeared June 22, 2025 while hiking with a friend in the Angeles National Forest.

“Reza, an aerospace engineer, was the co-creator of Mondaloy, a nickel-based alloy capable of withstanding the extreme heat of rocket engines. At the time of her disappearance, she was the Director of Materials Processing at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL),” Fox News reported.

Steven Garcia: Disappeared Aug. 28, 2025 and was last seen at his home in Albuquerque and captured on surveillance video carrying a handgun.

“Garcia was a government contractor tied to the Kansas City National Security Campus, a key facility responsible for producing the vast majority of non-nuclear components used in the U.S. nuclear weapons arsenal. His role reportedly gave him high-level security clearance and oversight of sensitive assets,” Fox News reported.

Carl Grillmair: Killed Feb. 16, 2026. He was shot and killed outside of his home in California.

“Grillmair had spent decades working on major NASA-backed missions, including the Hubble and Spitzer space telescopes, contributing to research on galactic structure, dark matter and the search for habitable planets,” Fox News reported.

Nuno Loureiro: Killed Dec. 15, 2025. He was shot at his home in Brookline, Massachusetts.

“Loureiro was a leading figure in fusion energy research, studying plasma physics and working on technologies aimed at harnessing near-limitless clean energy.”

Frank Maiwald, engineer at NASA’s jet propulsion lab: Died July 4, 2024 under mysterious circumstances.

Melissa Casias: Disappeared June 26, 2025. She was last seen walking along in New Mexico.

Anthony Chavez: Reported missing May 8, 2025. He was last seen at this home in Los Alamos, New Mexico.

Jason Thomas: Missing Dec. 13, 2025, found dead March 17, 2026.

“On March 17, 2026, a body believed to be Thomas was recovered from Lake Quannapowitt after the ice thawed. Officials said no foul play was suspected, though the cause and manner of death have not been publicly disclosed,” Fox News.

The New York Post reported:

“Chancellor Friedrich Merz is mulling legislation that would allow employers to dock the pay of workers, beginning from the first day they call out sick, Fortune.com reported.

It would be a radical change for a nation known for pro-worker policies and where a four-day work week has become normal.”

“’Work-life balance and a four-day week will not be enough to maintain our country’s current level of prosperity in the future, which is why we need to work harder’, Merz said in a speech about absentee rates earlier this year.

The proposal comes as a study revealed that Deutschland workers take an average of 14.8 sick days a year — more than once a month, and four times that of the United Kingdom.”

President Trump is now speaking out about the major sex assault and r*pe allegations that have essentially ended former Rep. Eric Swalwell’s (D-China) political career.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Swalwell is facing explosive accusations of sexual misconduct from several women, including a former staffer who claims he r*ped her twice.

The allegations of the former staffer, who was the first to come forward, were initially reported by the San Francisco Chronicle.

These accusations come just weeks before California’s June primary and prompted immediate calls from Democrat leaders, including Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff, for Swalwell to drop out of the race.

Seeing no way out of the crisis, Swalwell ended his gubernatorial campaign on Sunday night.

He then abruptly resigned from Congress Monday night.

If charged and convicted, Swalwell is likely facing years behind bars.

As The Daily Mail notes, Swalwell was the Democratic frontrunner in the 2026 California gubernatorial primary to succeed Gavin Newsom. What an incredible fall.

Trump finally talked about the scandal after days of silence in an interview with the Daily Mail on Thursday.

“We’ll see what happens,” Trump said. “He’s a sleazebag. Always has been. He’s a long timer, and he’s a bad guy.”

“I don’t know anything about the charges, but he’s a bad guy,” the President added.

“He’s always been a bad guy; he’s a corrupt politician, and everyone knows it, so it’s happening to him, and we’ll see what happens. Right? Let him go defend himself.”

Trump’s feelings about Swalwell are certainly understandable, especially considering he served as an impeachment manager during Trump’s second trial back in 2021.

When Swalwell does try to defend himself, he will be all alone. He should be especially worried because his own party has deemed him a damaging burden.

Democrats tend to give their own the Mafia treatment when things go south for them.

The Justice Department has launched an investigation into allegations of sexual assault against Eric Swalwell, according to The Hill and The New York Post.

Swalwell is also under investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

Eric Swalwell, a Democrat, resigned from Congress and dropped out of the California governor’s race due to the sexual assault allegations.

At least five women have come forward alleging they were sexually assaulted by Swalwell.

Another Swalwell accuser came forward and spoke at press conference in Beverly Hills on Tuesday morning.

The 5th Swalwell accuser to come forward, Lonna Drews, is represented by attorney Lisa Bloom.

“I represent a brave Eric Swalwell accuser. Her disturbing story is forthcoming. We call upon him to resign from Congress and the governor’s race, and we will cooperate with authorities in their investigation,” Lisa Bloom (Gloria Allred’s daughter) said on Monday evening before the press conference.

Lisa Bloom also disclosed that three other women have contacted her in the last 24 hours with accusations against Eric Swalwell.

Lonna Drews recounted how Eric Swalwell drugged and raped her in 2018 and choked her to the point of unconsciousness in a West Hollywood hotel room.

“In 2018, while I was living and working as a model in Beverly Hills, and I also owned a fashion software company, I had contact with Eric Swalwell on three separate occasions,” the alleged sexual assault victim, Lonna Drews, said.

“I knew he was married at the time and that his wife was pregnant. He was my friend. On the third occasion, I believe he drugged my drink,” she said.

Lonna Drews said Swalwell drugged her drink and violently raped her.

“He raped me, and he choked me. And while he was choking me, I lost consciousness. And I thought I died. I did not consent to any sexual activity,” she said threw tears.

“I would never have engaged in a consensual sexual encounter with Eric Swalwell,” she said.

Following Lonna Drews’ presser, the Los Angeles DA opened an investigation into Swalwell.

Swalwell is also under investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office after a former staffer came forward to CNN and said the California Democrat raped her in 2024.

The Swalwell staffer said she was sexually assaulted by Swalwell in 2019.

The staffer also said Swalwell raped her years later in 2024 after she left his employment.

The unidentified former female staffer sat down with CNN and recounted some of the horrific details about the alleged rape that occurred in 2024.

“I went to the bathroom, and I don’t remember anything after that,” she said, adding that she “remembered the next day.”

“I can see flashes of that evening of him on top of me, me pushing him off, him grabbing me. It was a lot more aggressive. It was aggressive,” she said about the 2024 assault.
