Emergency Trans March and Rally promoting awareness of the trans relocation crisis and advocating for support for affected individuals.

Seattle’s official LGBT Commission is calling on socialist Mayor Katie Wilson to declare a formal “state of emergency” over what it calls a “trans relocation crisis,” and is demanding the city provide free housing and taxpayer-funded salaries for trans activist groups to support thousands of transgender-identifying individuals allegedly fleeing red states.

The commission claims “tens of thousands” of “trans refugees” have fled to Seattle in order to escape “genocidal and vile legislation” passed in Republican states that restrict sex change procedures for minors.

In an official statement, the advisory body demanded the city immediately step up with housing “run by trans orgs for trans people,” pay unemployed volunteers who are “fighting full-time against this crisis,” and offer protection from the federal government.

A coalition of trans activist groups, including the Antifa-affiliated “Moto Hooligans,” has announced a rally and march on Saturday, May 23, at Cal Anderson Park to pressure Mayor Wilson to meet their demands.

The Post Millennial reports:

A coalition of trans activist groups, including the Antifa-affiliated “Moto Hooligans,” stated that they need more financial resources to assist the “tens of thousands” of transgender “refugees” who have allegedly moved to Seattle to escape what they call the Trump administration’s “genocide” of trans people, according to a Tuesday social media post. As a result, the coalition has demanded free housing for trans people, as well as the allocation of taxpayer funds to pay trans activists to assist with the so-called “crisis.”

The group announced a Saturday, May 23, rally and march at Seattle’s Cal Anderson Park, the former CHAZ/CHOP zone, to demand further resources from Mayor Wilson, a socialist who took office earlier this year.

“Genocidal and vile legislation across the US have left transgender people with one option- to flee. Tens of thousands of our siblings are flocking to Seattle where they find struggling community orgs fighting uphill to support them! These refugees need more support than what poverty stricken, unemployed, and overwhelmed volunteers can do,” the LGBT Commission said in a statement obtained by PM. “Tell Mayor Wilson no more!”

“The LGBT Commission is calling on Katie Wilson to declare a state of emergency. Now is the time to demand more from our city. We need housing for trans refugees, run by trans orgs for trans people and not being violently swept off the streets by SDP,” the advisory group continued. “We need money to employ the unemployed volunteers working full-time against this crisis and massively scale up to meet the numbers we are seeing. We need protection from the federal government and commitment that when the white house comes for trans people the city will say no. We need to fire bigoted police who beat us on the streets with no charges!”

During Seattle’s Trans Day of Visibility earlier this year, the city itself declared the situation a “genocide,” according to the commission.

Mayor Katie Wilson responded with a letter to the commission announcing she will create a new “civil rights team” to “evaluate immediate needs” and “fortify critical services” for the LGBT community.

Despite Seattle facing a roughly $175 million budget deficit, Wilson insisted she would prioritize additional resources.

The coalition has provided no evidence to support the claim that tens of thousands of transgender individuals have relocated to Seattle.

A plane traveling to Detroit was diverted to Canada after a traveler from the Ebola-hit Democratic Republic of the Congo boarded the plane in error.

According to the WHO, there have been 600 suspected cases of the Ebola virus and 139 deaths reported across areas of the Congo, South Sudan, and Uganda.

A U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesperson revealed that after learning an Air France flight had a passenger from the Congo, they immediately ordered the flight to be diverted from the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport to the Montreal Trudeau International Airport.

The CDC previously announced all non-U.S. passport holders will be barred from entry into the U.S. if they have been in the Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan within the last three weeks.

The travel ban will be in effect for the next three weeks.

Per NBC News:

An Air France flight bound for Detroit was redirected to Canada after a passenger from Congo boarded “in error” amid the Ebola outbreak in central Africa, officials said Wednesday.

A U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesperson said the agency took “decisive action” by prohibiting the flight from landing at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport.

“Due to entry restrictions put in place to reduce the risk of the Ebola virus, the passenger should not have boarded the plane,” the CBP spokesperson said in a statement.

Montreal Trudeau International Airport directed request for comment to Air France, which confirmed that Flight 378 was diverted “at the request of U.S. authorities” after it departed Paris on Wednesday, landing in Montreal shortly after 5 p.m. ET.

“There was no medical emergency on board, and like all airlines, Air France is required to comply with the entry requirements of the countries it serves,” an Air France spokesperson said in a statement.

On Friday morning Secretary of State Marco Rubio addressed the ongoing Ebola outbreak in Africa.

Rubio shared his primary concern was to make sure no cases come to the United States and also raised concern over the WHO’s delayed response to the outbreak.

Rep. Lauren Boebert on Trump’s Threat to Primary Her: ‘That Can’t Happen’ (VIDEO)
May 21, 2026

Two news anchors engage in a serious discussion on a televised program, with a colorful backdrop highlighting their expressions and the topic at hand.

Rep. Lauren Boebert has again responded to President Donald Trump’s public threat to primary her in an interview on NewsNation, pointing out that it “can’t happen” because the candidate filing deadline in Colorado has passed and her primary is already settled and certified.

The primary threat came in response to Boebert’s recent endorsement and campaigning for Rep. Thomas Massie against a Trump-backed challenger.

Trump responded on Truth Social by calling Boebert “weak-minded” and openly inviting a primary challenger against her in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District.

The president wrote in full:

Is anyone interested in running against Weak Minded Lauren Boebert in Colorado’s Fourth Congressional District? You remember Lauren moved to the District when it became obvious that she couldn’t win in her original Congressional District (The Third!) — A Carpetbagger, indeed! Boebert is campaigning for the Worst “Republican” Congressman in the History of our Country, Thomas Massie, of the Great Commonwealth of Kentucky, and anybody who can be that dumb deserves a good Primary fight! Even though I long ago endorsed Boebert, if the right person came along, it would be my Honor to withdraw that Endorsement, and endorse a good and proper alternative. Just let me know, or announce your Candidacy, and I will be there for you! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Speaking to Chris Cuomo, Boebert explained:

“Well, first of all, my election and my primary are settled. It is certified. There is no time for a write-in candidate, and so when the president called for a primary opponent against me, that can’t happen, and I’m going to face a Democrat in the general election. My Democrat opponent does not have a primary opponent either, so it is the two of us head-to-head for the rest of this cycle.”

WATCH:

Colorado’s Republican primary for the 4th District is scheduled for June 30, but Boebert will be unopposed.

The candidate filing deadline closed on March 18, and the Secretary of State’s office has already certified the ballots, which have even been mailed to overseas voters.

While write-in candidates are still possible for the November general election, they cannot enter the primary at this stage.

Colorado Newsline explained, “Candidates from any party who were not on the primary ballot and want to run as a write-in candidate in the November general election can file an affidavit of interest with the secretary of state’s office no later than July 16, according to secretary spokesperson Jack Todd.”

Boebert originally responded to Trump’s post by writing on X, “Yes, I saw the President’s post. No, I’m not mad or offended. I knew the risks when I agreed to stand by my friend Thomas Massie. I was, and will be, America First, America Always, and MAGA. Onward.”

Revealed: One of the Austin Shooting Spree Suspects is an Illegal with an ICE Hold

Cristian Mondragon-Fajardo, 17/Image: Austin Police Department

The Gateway Pundit reported that over the weekend, residents in the Austin, Texas area were asked to shelter in place amid reports of multiple shootings.

The Austin Police Department says at least three suspects were involved in as many as 12 shootings since Saturday.

Two of the shootings were at fire stations in South Austin.

At least four people were reported injured.

Police announced that 17-year-old Cristian Mondragon has been charged with six felonies, with more charges possible, including: Two counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; Two counts of aggravated assault with a motor vehicle; Theft of firearms; Evading arrest with a motor vehicle.

The two other suspects are minors and will be processed through a different judicial system.

While in court, prosecutors noted that Mondragon is not a U.S. citizen and currently has an ICE hold.

Per Fox 7:

“The ICE detainer does add an extra component to his process,” Criminal Defense & Immigration Attorney Robert Jimenez said.

The judge ordered Mondragon to be held without bond on the aggravated assault charges, with prosecutors arguing he poses a danger to the community and could be deported if released.

Jimenez said that the detainer doesn’t mean ICE takes over the case right now.

“That would only kick in once he is no longer authorized to be held by state custody,” Jimenez said.

Dennis Farris, a retired Austin police officer and current president of the Austin Police Retired Officers’ Association, spoke with Fox News and blasted the leftist city council for “stripping police of key tools” before the rampage.

Per Fox News:

“At some point, the [police department], and some of the [police departments] started connecting the dots, right?” Farris told Fox News Digital. “And it took a little while longer because the Austin Police Department is really been handcuffed by its own city council from using technology that could help in stuff like this. Facial recognition technology, license plate readers, you know, specifically the one that comes to mind with everybody is Flock.”

Austin used to have a contract with Flock Safety for license plate reading technology until last year, when Farris says left-wing members of the council along with local activists succeeded in campaigning for its removal.

*******

“At the end of that one-year trial period, the activists decided they didn’t like [the cameras],” said Farris. “And when I say the activists, I’m talking about the 25 or 30 people that are always at city council, complaining about anything the police department does, and the activists on the council, and we have very much so an activist council.”

Trump Executive Order Terminates Biden-Era Refrigerant Rules to Lower Grocery Costs (VIDEO)
May 21, 2026

President Trump signed an executive order on Thursday aimed at lowering the cost of groceries by reversing Biden-era restrictions on refrigerators and air conditioners.

Trump was joined by grocery store chain executives and Administration officials to make the announcement.

Trump told reporters the action would “substantially lower costs for consumers, protect hundreds of thousands of jobs, and save Americans well over $2 billion a year.”

“The so-called technology transition rule, which was crazy, forced companies to adopt specific high-cost refrigerants, massively driving up the price of transporting in strong and storing refrigerants and various goods,” he said. “Many grocery stores and restaurants had no choice but to replace the refrigerators entirely. They went out of business, half of them, and these costs rose.”

The Biden rule also forced Americans to “purchase higher cost residential air conditioning units,” Trump said. “Thanks to today’s reforms, the American people have lower grocery prices, cheaper transportation of goods, lower cost of air conditioning, at no detriment at all to our country, zero, including environmental detriment.”

WATCH:

Today it is my honor to be discussing the taking of a very historic action to substantially lower costs for consumers, protect hundreds of thousands of jobs, and save Americans well over $2 billion a year by officially terminating the Biden administration’s ridiculous regulations imposing costly requirements on refrigerators and air conditioners. It’s ridiculous, unnecessary, and costly, and actually makes the machinery worse.

Under the Biden administration, the so-called technology transition rule, which was crazy, forced companies to adopt specific high-cost refrigerants, massively driving up the price of transporting in strong and storing refrigerants and various goods. Many grocery stores and restaurants had no choice but to replace the refrigerators entirely. They went out of business, half of them, and these costs rose. Americans faced higher grocery prices and reduced access to critical medical supplies. It was a very catastrophic thing that they did. At the same time, this rule also drove up the cost of living by forcing consumers to purchase higher cost residential air conditioning units that cost, they went up very substantially in cost, and also they were going to be obsolete very quickly.

It created national security risk by adding additional hurdles to the already complicated process of manufacturing semiconductors, so it was a mess. Likewise, the so-called emissions rule imposed crippling leak repair requirements on virtually all existing large-scale refrigeration systems, hurting consumers and small businesses, making it almost impossible for many small businesses to even buy inferior before it, inferior equipment, and this is all across the country. The higher cost threatened thousands of jobs and was passed on in the form of higher prices and higher taxes. Today’s reforms will deliver significant financial relief, saving American families and businesses more than $2.4 billion, think of that, each year. Thanks to today’s reforms, the American people have lower grocery prices, cheaper transportation of goods, lower cost of air conditioning, at no detriment at all to our country, zero, including environmental detriment.

My administration’s historic deregulatory agendas already saved our country an estimated $1.2 trillion. That’s been done over a relatively short period of time, 1.2 trillion with a T. We’re committed to fixing the, and really completely ending, Biden’s disastrous regulatory policies and delivering financial relief to each and every American, which is what we’re doing. This was a tremendous burden, a tremendous cost. These people had to live with it, not only refrigerants but a lot more, and it was making the equipment unaffordable and the actual benefit was nothing. It just made it worse, made life worse, and it made it worse, and it drove up costs tremendously.

According to the White House:

  • Today’s actions will save Americans a total of $2.4 billion, delivering critical relief from the crippling costs the Biden Administration imposed on grocery stores, businesses, and ultimately, American families.
  • Changes to the Technology Transitions Rule will safeguard over 350,000 high-skilled American jobs, save Americans over $900 million dollars – including over $800 million at the supermarkets – and lower food prices across the Nation.
  • EPA estimates that the changes to the Emissions Reduction and Reclamation Rule could save transporters of refrigerated goods, including food, up to $1.5 billion.
