Nicki Minaj during a recent interview on Katie Miller’s podcast.

Rap superstar Nicki Minaj has revealed she supported Donald Trump long before she went public but stayed silent because of the political culture inside the entertainment industry.

“I felt that way already about him, just that I didn’t dare act like that publicly,” Minaj said in an exclusive interview with TIME magazine.

“It’s been ingrained in everyone’s brain in the music business that we are supposed to be a Democratic family.”

The rap superstar said the left’s response to her 2021 vaccine skepticism only hardened her views.

“I guess they had examined everyone’s testicles in Trinidad and came back to tell me that I was lying,” she said, mocking the official backlash to her comments.

Minaj also blasted former President Barack Obama over his comments to Black voters during the 2024 election.

“I just saw so many videos of Black men saying that they didn’t like the way they felt about that speech that Obama gave,” she said.

“They felt like they weren’t being listened to.”

She also revealed that repeated swatting attacks at her California home helped push her fully towards MAGA>

Minaj said she reached out to California Governor Gavin Newsom for help and was completely rebuffed.

“I was shocked,” Minaj said. “I’d never seen anyone in politics treat me that way.”

“That’s what made me say that I don’t care to keep this a secret anymore.”

She also defended Trump’s concerns about election integrity and the fraud that took place during the 2020 presidential election.

“Obviously, I do not know, but I know that if he comes out and says it, that he’s done his due diligence, and I know that he’s not just making it up.”

Mnaj added is prepared to campaign for Republicans in the upcoming midterms.

“I’ll do whatever it is,” she explained. “Many celebrities feel the way I do, “but they don’t say it.

”Sometimes you just need one brave person to get the brunt of the impact. I think I am the catalyst for that change.”

Human Rights Campaign Brags LGBTQ+ Voters Will Be 20% of U.S. Electorate by 2040, Has Record $15 Million War Chest to Help Democrats in Midterms
May 16, 2026

A hand casting a vote in front of vibrant LGBTQ+ pride flags, symbolizing inclusivity and democratic participation.

The Human Rights Campaign (HRC), one of the nation’s most powerful LGBT lobbying organizations, is openly declaring that LGBT voters will explode from roughly 10% of the electorate in the 2026 midterms to a staggering 20% by 2040.

The far-left organization is also sitting on a record $15 million electoral war chest aimed squarely at flipping Republican-held House seats and undermining the Trump administration in the upcoming midterms.

The Post Millennial reports:

The comments came in response to California Governor Gavin Newsom moderating his stance with male children identifying as transgender and playing in girls’ sports. When asked by Politico about the how Newsom has appeared to change his stance, HRC President Kelley Robinson said, “As a baseline, anybody that wants to be president in 2028 needs to stand for the civil rights and protections of every person in this country. And yes, that includes trans people.”

“Look, LGBTQ+ people are a growing demographic. We’re going to be 10% of the electorate this year, 20% of the electorate by 2040. We are a powerful constituency, and we’re going to demand that folks who want to represent us represent all of us,” she added.

Robinson laid out HRC’s vision going forward for the midterm election cycle as well for Democrats to get their messaging right, for those in the LBTQ community. The group is looking to flip eight seats currently held by Republicans, which includes districts currently served by Reps. David Schweikert, Juan Ciscomani, David Valadao, Darrell Issa, Tom Barrett, Mike Lawler, Ryan Mackenzie, and Rob Bresnahan.

The $15 million investment, described by HRC as its largest-ever non-presidential-cycle spending, will target eight specific Republican-held House districts, fund heavy advertising, grassroots canvassing, and mobilization efforts, and support Democratic candidates in key states including Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Ohio, and Texas.

HRC claims the money will help “flip the House,” expand the number of openly LGBTQ elected officials, and defeat anti-LGBTQ ballot measures nationwide.

The group’s polling shows 92% of LGBT registered voters say they will “definitely vote” in November 2026, far higher than the 68% of non-LGBT voters who say the same.

HRC also claims it has identified more than 74 million “equality voters” whom it intends to turn out, according to a Politico interview.

However, HRC’s projections rely heavily on self-identification trends among younger generations, claiming nearly 30% of Gen Z now identify as LGBT, and assume continued rapid growth without accounting for potential cultural pushback or stabilization of identification rates.

“November is coming, and voters are ready to get free from hate, free from discrimination, free from the chaos holding this country back,” said HRC President Kelley Robinson in a press release. “Since being elected, the Trump Administration has ignored the pressing needs of American families and instead made it their mission to undermine freedom and equality at every turn. They have unleashed masked agents to kidnap and kill people on the streets, slashed funding for health care, including HIV support, kicked out transgender servicemembers, found seemingly endless resources to drop bombs but empty pockets for the things people need most, and turned to scapegoating and terrorizing LGBTQ+ people every time the wheels are coming off. We, the people, have had enough.

“LGBTQ+ voters are more motivated than they’ve ever been to make their voices heard at the ballot box, and HRC’s electoral plan will ensure that the 74 million Equality Voters across the country will deliver the winning margins in competitive races across the country. The time is now for us to mobilize, organize, and turn our grassroots energy into a voting force that cannot be denied. Let’s get free, y’all.”

The organization has faced repeated accusations of prioritizing transgender ideology over broader gay and lesbian concerns, especially in recent years.

HRC has long been one of the most influential progressive advocacy groups in Washington, with a massive donor base that includes major corporations, Hollywood elites, and billionaire philanthropists.

Here’s Where the Redistricting Wars Stand as the 2026 Midterms Approach

Here’s Where the Redistricting Wars Stand as the 2026 Midterms Approach

Republicans currently have a net potential 10 to 12-seat advantage in the congressional redistricting fights taking place in different states around the country.

The University of Virginia’s Center for Politics, headed by Larry Sabato, puts the Republicans’ U.S. House net gains anywhere from six to 10 seats.

Politico sees the possibility of the Republicans netting 12 seats in the redistricting wars — though, like the Center for Politics, the outlet cannot predict which party will control the House after November’s elections.

Democrats, who have aggressively gerrymandered for years in blue states, so far this election cycle have only had a potential four or five-seat pick-up in California and one in Utah, due to a court ruling, according to the Center for Politics.

Switching to the Republican side, the GOP could pick up five seats in Texas, up to four in Florida, one in Missouri, one in North Carolina, one in Ohio, and one in Tennessee.

Alabama has not acted yet, but redistricting there could mean an additional Republican seat. The same is true in Louisiana and South Carolina. The Democrats could also take actions to pick up a seat in Maryland.

The Center for Politics concludes, “So there are still a number of moving pieces here, but the endgame is a Republican advantage of some size. As we wrote in our last issue, this is a redistricting deficit that we favor Democrats to overcome, but it’s also enough of a Republican edge that it could allow them to save their House majority under the right circumstances.”

The current party breakdown in the House is 217 Republicans to 212 Democrats, with 5 vacant seats previously held by three Democrats and two Republicans.

Most often, the party not holding the White House does better in the midterm elections in the House, but there have been exceptions, including Democrats picking up seats in 1998 and Republicans in 2002.

The Cook Political Report rates 210 seats as leaning Republican or likely Republican wins in November, to the Democrats’ 207, leaving 18 toss-ups, 14 of which are currently held by the GOP and four by the Democrats.

Politico observed, “Previous rounds of gerrymandering over the last two decades have aggressively whittled away at battleground districts.”

“Before the 2011 round of redistricting, there were approximately 143 competitive seats across the country that were within 10 points at the presidential level in 2008,” Politico said, referring to data from the Daily Kos.

“Afterward, there were approximately 119 seats in that range left. In 2020, there were 93 seats within 10 points at the presidential level; after redistricting in 2021, that number fell to 79.”

Last week, the Virginia Supreme Court ruled against a ballot referendum that would have allowed a redistricting potentially taking Virginia’s congressional delegation from six Democrats and five Republicans, to a 10 to one Democrat advantage.

The court held that Democratic officials failed to follow the Virginia Constitution in creating the referendum.

On Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to take up an appeal.

EXCLUSIVE: Fauci Moved Kitten Experiments into NIH After Trump Shut Down USDA Lab, New White Coat Waste Investigation Reveals They’re Still Active

EXCLUSIVE: Fauci Moved Kitten Experiments into NIH After Trump Shut Down USDA Lab, New White Coat Waste Investigation Reveals They’re Still Active

Image features a close-up of a worried orange cat behind bars, with a serious-looking man in a suit in the background, emphasizing themes of concern and captivity.

A shocking new investigation by White Coat Waste (WCW) has uncovered how Dr. Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) quietly shifted controversial kitten experimentation from a shuttered U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) lab into the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) own internal laboratories in Bethesda, Maryland, after President Donald Trump’s administration shut down the USDA’s infamous “kitten slaughterhouse” exposed by the watchdog organization in 2019.

The newly obtained records, obtained by WCW through Freedom of Information Act requests, show that in 2021, under Dr. Fauci, NIAID scientist Dr. Michael Grigg, a collaborator with the now-closed USDA lab, resurrected the kitten experimentation protocols inside NIH intramural laboratories, where they remain active through at least December 13, 2026.

For decades, the USDA’s Beltsville, Maryland, facility bred and killed cats for toxoplasmosis parasite experiments led by scientist Jitender Dubey.

WCW uncovered how Dubey’s lab bred thousands of kittens for painful and deadly taxpayer-funded testing.

Dubey and his staff traveled to China and other foreign countries to visit wet markets and purchase cat and dog meat, which would then be fed to kittens back at the USDA lab in gruesome cannibalism experiments.

WCW detailed the disturbing project in an exchange with Republican Rep. Eric Burlison during a House Oversight hearing last year and highlighted how Dubey was even inducted into the USDA Hall of Fame.

WATCH:

The Trump administration eventually terminated the program and adopted out the remaining 28 cats after WCW exposed the gruesome taxpayer-funded testing and rallied support from Republicans and Democrats in Congress, along with Trump allies like Roger Stone.

Two of the surviving breeder cats, Delilah and Petite, were adopted by WCW President and Founder Anthony Bellotti.

But according to the newly uncovered NIH records, Fauci’s NIAID simply relocated the work behind closed doors, and it’s still going on today.

Protocols approved from 2021 through 2026 authorize experiments using up to 30 cats in toxoplasmosis vaccine studies. The records describe feeding cats infected mouse tissue “slurry,” isolating the animals in cages after inoculation, and harvesting parasites from cat feces.

One protocol warns that “cats can develop pneumonia … and these cats can die acutely without prior clinical signs before intervention is feasible.”

The records also reveal efforts to conceal the animals’ laboratory history after the studies ended.

“At the end of the study, the microchip will be permanently reprogrammed to the person who adopts the cat … ensuring no record that the cat was part of an Animal Study Protocol,” one document states.

Purchase records obtained by WCW show NIH acquired six three-month-old female kittens in April 2022 and four more five-month-old female kittens in October 2024 from lab supplier Liberty Research, a company similar to the controversial Ridglan Farms beagle breeding operation that supplies animals for testing.

Records show longtime USDA kitten experimenter Dubey remained a collaborator on the NIH project as recently as 2024-2025.

Also listed as a collaborator is University of California-Davis researcher Jeroen Saeij, whose Fauci-funded kitten experiments were canceled in 2024 after WCW exposed the project. Bellotti also adopted one of those cats, Marigold, who had been locked in the lab for 12 years.

WCW says the documents prove Fauci undermined the Trump USDA and Congress and helped ensure the discredited kitten experiments continued with taxpayer funding.

The discovery that these Fauci-approved kitten experiments are still active within the NIH also casts further doubt on HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s and other agency officials’ claims that they stopped funding cat and dog labs.

Gateway Pundit has reported on evidence that the NIH continues to award new grants and extend funding for testing on pets, and makes misleading statements about it.

EXPOSED: Taxpayer-Funded Mizzou Lab Caught Harvesting Blood from Former Pets in Cruel Program – Fauci-Era NIH Grant Still Funding Deadly Cat Tests

WCW has been escalating its campaign urging Kennedy to stop funding cat and dog testing, including with a national “WTF RFK?” advertising blitz.

WCW’s Bellotti blasted the findings as proof that the federal animal testing bureaucracy simply relocated politically toxic experiments instead of ending them.

“Just like Fauci outsourced dangerous gain-of-function animal experiments to Wuhan to dodge scrutiny—as White Coat Waste first exposed—we've now uncovered that he quietly insourced these highly controversial kitten experiments into NIH’s own labs after WCW’s campaign prompted the Trump administration to shut down the USDA’s kitten slaughterhouse.”

As Gateway Pundit recently reported, Republican Rep. Nick Langworthy has joined WCW in pushing Kennedy and NIH to defund dog and cat labs in the wake of the Ridglan beagle farm scandal.

WCW is also working with Congress to pass the Preventing Animal Abuse and Waste (PAAW) Act to defund NIH dog and cat experiments, as well as related measures in Fiscal Year 2027 appropriations bills.

Republican Rep. Paul Gosar has proposed eliminating funding in the NIH’s 2027 appropriations bill for all active NIAID projects approved under Dr. Fauci, which would include the NIH’s in-house kitten experiments.

Bellotti, who started WCW in 2011 after a short stint working in an animal testing lab, told The Gateway Pundit, “Unfortunately, under RFK Jr. and Fauci fanatic Nicole Kleinstreuer—NIH's so-called animal testing czar—Fauci's kitten lab is alive and well inside NIH, and they’ve doled out over $142 million in new funding for other cat and dog labs, too. Defunding these wasteful pet abuse programs—and retiring the survivors like the cats I adopted from NIH and USDA labs that White Coat Waste has shut down—is a surefire way to hold Fauci accountable. Stop the money. Stop the madness.”

Further details are emerging about the disappearance of New Jersey Rep. Tom Kean Jr. from Congress for over two months.

In an interview with CNN, former New Jersey Gov. Tom Kean Sr. said his son is receiving medical treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.

“He’s hopefully coming back soon, and he’s under the care of a doctor,” Kean Sr. said, adding that his son had been evaluated by multiple physicians.

“They all agree he’s going to be fine. He’s under a doctor’s care.”

“It took a real illness to knock him out,” he added.

“This won’t linger. It’s not some kind of disease that’s going to incapacitate him in the future. The consensus is that he will be 100% OK.”

Kean Sr. declined to provide details about the illness, saying any decision to disclose further information rests with his son.

His office has also provided little detail about his whereabouts or condition.

‘Missing’ GOP Congressman Tom Kean Jr. Finally Issues a Statement After Vanishing for Over Seven Weeks and Skipping More Than 50 Votes

His chief of staff said this week only that the congressman “is still attending to a personal health matter” and would return to a full schedule soon.

The absence has sparked concern among House Republicans, particularly given the GOP’s narrow majority in the chamber.

House Speaker Mike Johnson said he spoke with Kean roughly two weeks ago.

“He sounded great. He said he was, you know, out on a medical issue, and he’ll be back as soon as possible,” Johnson told reporters.

“Like everyone, sometimes things happen that are out of our control. We have medical issues. We’ve got to deal with them. So that’s what this is,” he added.

Kean last cast a vote on March 5th, according to congressional records, and has missed dozens of votes since.

The Republican congressman, first elected in 2022, represents New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District, a competitive suburban seat Democrats are targeting in the 2026 midterms.

His upcoming Republican primary currently has no challenger, while several Democrats are competing for the nomination on the other side.
