A comeback to the silver screen?

After he became one of the most high-profile targets of the #MeToo movement, Kevin Spacey has been publicly fighting to revive his career while fighting in courts against the allegations of sexual misconduct.

During all this time, a question lingered: can Spacey be ‘un-canceled’?

This week, at the world-famous Cannes Film Festival, the answer appears to be yes, as he makes a comeback at the Cannes Film Festival, a mere year after the event had given him ‘the cold shoulder’.

The Telegraph reported:

“The actor, 66, made his official return to the festival on Wednesday evening, walking the red carpet three years after he was acquitted of sexual abuse.

The American Beauty and House of Cards star was given a lifetime achievement award from a charity at Cannes last year, but the film festival organizers had not extended an invitation to him, saying he had ‘no affiliation’ to it.”

The Oscar-winner sealed his comeback two nights ago, posing on the red carpet with model Via Lemann, at the premiere of French film De Gaulle: Tilting Iron.

“Spacey has spent years trying to rehabilitate his image following the sexual misconduct allegations, which devastated his career.

He has previously described November 2017 being the lowest point of his life, when actor Anthony Rapp alleged that Spacey had inappropriately touched him at a party when he was aged 14 and they were both relatively unknown in the industry.”

Oil giant Chevron is refusing to play along with the Democrat blame game and is directly calling out Gavin Newsom and Sacramento Democrats for the insane gas prices crushing California families.

While homeless meth and crack addicts have been caught plastering gas pumps across Southern California with stickers falsely blaming President Donald Trump for the state’s sky-high fuel costs, Chevron has responded by installing educational signs that tell the truth the left doesn’t want you to hear.

The signs read: “Sacramento policies did this. Now you pay more.”

And: “California politicians are choosing foreign oil and fuels over local jobs and lower costs.”

This comes after Governor Gavin Newsom’s office is now openly feuding with Chevron and even urging Californians to avoid the company’s gas stations over Memorial Day weekend.

According to Associated Press reporting, Newsom’s office accused Chevron of overcharging compared to unbranded stations while Chevron has pointed squarely at California’s regulatory regime as the root cause of soaring prices.

In other words: the blame game is on.

AP reported:

California Gov. Gavin Newsom is in a spat with a major oil company over who is to blame for the state’s high gas prices, with the Democratic governor’s office urging drivers not to fill up at Chevron stations over Memorial Day weekend.

“Pro tip: unbranded gas comes from the same refineries, storage tanks, and pipelines, and it meets the same state standards to keep your engine running clean,” Newsom’s office posted Thursday on X. “Big Oil is already making billions off Trump’s Iran War; don’t let them rip you off even more by overpaying for the brand name.”

Newsom’s office cited an analysis by a group within the state’s energy commission, which oversees the oil and gas industry, that found that Chevron averaged more than 60 to 80 cents per gallon above unbranded alternatives.

Memorial Day weekend is one of the busiest travel times of the year. The call-out by the governor’s office follows Chevron posting signs at California gas stations blaming the state’s climate policies for the high cost of gas. The average price of gas in California sat at $6.14 per gallon on Thursday, about $1.58 higher than the national average, according to the American Automobile Association. The state taxes consumers about 70 cents per gallon of gas, according to the state’s energy commission. That is the highest gas tax in the country.

“California politicians are choosing foreign oil and fuels over local jobs and lower costs,” the signs read. They feature a QR code that directs to a Chevron webpage asking people to “speak up for affordable, reliable energy.”

It is not clear when Chevron put the signs up, but spokesman Ross Allen said they are part of a campaign the company launched three years ago to inform drivers on the price impacts of California policies.

“We’ve been very vocal about the importance of customer education in California so that our drivers and our consumers understand where their tax dollars are going,” Allen said.

Social media users erupted on Thursday night after a  Fox News segment featuring retired Vice Admiral Robert Harward went viral because he appeared to be wearing a “creepy full-face mask.”

The backlash went mega-viral, with people across the political spectrum expressing how freaked out they were by the video.

The clip is from an interview Harward did on Fox News’ America’s Newsroom with hosts Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino earlier this week.

Harward is a retired U.S. Navy Vice Admiral and decorated Navy SEAL. He has served as Deputy Commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), led special operations across multiple theaters, and is fluent in Farsi after living in Tehran as a teenager.

Since retiring, he has held senior roles at Lockheed Martin and now serves as an executive at Shield AI, a leading defense technology firm.

The topic of the interview was President Donald Trump’s hardline approach to Iran, including crushing sanctions, potential military options, control of the Strait of Hormuz, and the strategy of forcing the regime to capitulate without another nuclear deal.

Harward told viewers Trump “has time on his hands” and holds decisive strike capability. He stressed the importance of sustained economic pressure and naval strength over rushed negotiations.

It was a pretty standard Fox News CENTCOM analysis.

The clip did not go viral for what he was saying, but rather because of Harvard’s neck, which had a dark line or what appeared to be a “separation” below the jawline and at the collar.

Immediately, people began insisting it was the edge of a hyper-realistic silicone full-face mask.

Others pointed out that his face looked “too smooth,” his expressions “stiff,” or that he “didn’t blink enough.”

WATCH:

The video went so viral that it even sparked a Polymarket betting question.

Those who do not believe he was wearing a mask claim that his odd appearance was likely due to skin folds combined with video compression artifacts.

Harward and Fox News have not publicly commented on the matter.

The Department of War on Friday released a video of a fighter jet shooting down a UFO.

The Pentagon released its second batch of files related to UFOs after President Trump ordered them to be made public.

The new video shows an F-16 fighter jet shooting down the unidentified object over Lake Huron in Michigan in February 2023.

The object was shot down during the Chinese spy balloon incident. Biden allowed a Chinese spy balloon to traverse over the continental US in early 2023.

The 51 videos included in the second release include the type of grainy infrared footage captured by military cameras and sensors that has become familiar over the past several years.

In the description accompanying the videos, the Pentagon noted that the footage was requested by House lawmakers in March. The videos were found by the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, or AARO, the military office responsible for investigating UAP encounters. The Pentagon noted that “[m]any of these materials lack a substantiated chain-of-custody,” and the descriptions note when and where they were likely taken.

One notable video appears to show the moment a fighter jet shot down an unidentified object over Lake Huron in 2023, a high-profile incident that came after a Chinese spy balloon traversed the U.S., leading to heightened fears of UAPs. Later reports indicated that the object might have been a balloon operated by a hobbyist group.

Many of the videos capture encounters that happened in U.S. Central Command’s area of responsibility between 2018 and 2023, including over the Persian Gulf.

A video from 2022, which does not have a location listed, shows multiple spherical objects going in and out of the water near a submarine.

President Trump earlier this year directed the Pentagon to release UFO files.

“Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters. GOD BLESS AMERICA!” Trump said on Truth Social.

On Friday, news broke that Tennessee leftist Larry Bushart was awarded $850,000 for serving one month in jail for posting snarky and tasteless comments on Facebook following Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

The court said Bushart’s free speech rights were violated.

Now- compare that to the grandmothers from Iowa and Missouri who were jailed

Also on Friday, the NY Post reported that the federal government dropped charges against violent Chicago anti-Ice protesters before their trial. This comes after a federal judge called out prosecutors for rigging the grand jury to secure an indictment. This comes after US Attorney Andrew Boutros announced his office was dropping the charges with prejudice after a prosecutor met with a grand juror outside proceedings and panelists who refused to vote for an indictment being removed from the pool.

So the organized street thugs walk free.

Earlier this week, ABC News first broke the story that the Trump Administration was setting up a $1.7 billion fund to compensate the victims of Joe Biden’s persecution of political opponents.

During Joe Biden’s rule over a thousand MAGA Republicans were persecuted with years in jail for what we now know was a government set up on January 6, 2021.  The FBI finally admitted after lying under oath to the American public for years that they had over 270 operatives working the crowd on January 6th.  This does not include the rest of the government who also sent in plainclothes operatives to stir up violence that day.

Rebecca Lavrenz, a 72-year-old grandmother who was praying inside the US Capitol on January 6, was later fined $103,000 dollars and ordered to a half year of house arrest.

Grandmothers from Iowa and Missouri were persecuted and sentenced to prison for walking inside the US Capitol that day. They were not violent. They caused no physical damage to the building. But they were sent to jail anyway.

In one instance, police helped an elderly pastor and his son to the bathroom in the Capitol. For some reason porta-potties were missing for blocks from from the US Capitol that day. The father and son were later persecuted for trespassing!

One 69-year-old grandmother with cancer was given more prison time for walking inside the building than Hunter Biden was given for sharing classified documents with foreign regimes!

The Proud Boys were sentenced to decades in prison despite the fact that they committed no crimes. The only evidence the government had was a document written by the FBI!

The Biden regime and crooked DC juries and judges gleefully sent innocent fellow Americans to prison without any hesitation.

DOJ attorneys pressured defendants to lie about Trump's involvement in Jan.6 or face years in prison.

This is who we have 'representing' us in the US Congress!

It is past time that Republican voters demand more from their weak-minded representatives.

We are up against open Marxism sweeping the country in blue state after blue state. There is no time for clueless, gutless leaders.

As patriotic Americans we must let these GOP lawmakers know that we will not support them if they refuse to support us.
