Apparently, women having children is shocking to the leftists at The New York Times.

In an article titled “The Politics and Power of the Pregnancy Image,” by Vanessa Friedman, the paper frets over the image of pregnant MAGA icons.

The article points to specific examples of the visible pregnancies of prominent women in the Trump administration, including Second Lady Usha Vance, who is expecting her fourth child, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who recently gave birth to her second child, and podcaster Katie Miller, wife of Stephen Miller, Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy in the Trump administration.

The paper cynically frames a normal stage in a family as deliberate political imagery.

From the pregnancies themselves to the mothers-to-be’s fashion choices, which the NYT suggests are deliberately tailored to emphasize a baby bump, the paper sees only political posture.

It suggests that it is an outward and visible attempt to personify a key part of the administration’s “family and fertility platform.” The piece notes the coincidence in timing of multiple high-profile MAGA pregnancies but treats it as symbolically potent.

They also contrast the feminine imagery of a mother to be as the counter/compliment to the more masculine imagery of MAGA men.

Per The New York Times:

If the bare-chested, muscled mixed martial arts fighters of the U.F.C. match that President Trump hosted on Flag Day were the poster guys for MAGA’s image of masculinity, then the pregnant women of Trump world are one half of their feminine counterparts. Along with the sheath-clad, lip-filled, pageant-haired Mar-a-Lago set, they offer an image of idealized womanhood that gives literal shape to the pronatalist movement.

The Times presents the pregnancies as “propaganda” that “humanizes the administration.”

Even more cynically, they quoted Jill Filipovic, the host of the “Week in Women” podcast, who seemed to hint at some sort of Handmaid’s Tale brainwashing must have gone into the decision, because how could a woman want to actually have a child?!

“It almost feels like a memo went out,” said Jill Filipovic, the host of the “Week in Women” podcast. “They have quite intentionally opted to present themselves as, ‘I am really pregnant, and this is what women were chosen to do,’ and they are happy to say that both with their looks and their mouths.”

“Together, the women have created a notably consistent, and somewhat paradigm-shifting, picture of the White House’s family and fertility platform,” Friedman added.

The Times specifically called attention to the dress Mrs. Vance wore on her podcast show “Storytime with the Second Lady,” noting that she was wearing “a stretchy coral dress that hugs her stomach.”

Again, as though to suggest a burgeoning wasteline that increasingly makes everything uncomfortable is actually just another opportunity to push a “pronatalist movement.”

Mrs. Vance pushed back against the bizarre obsession and criticism of her wardrobe, noting, “Now that we know the political significance of my $8.75 coral maternity dress from Old Navy, can’t wait to hear what the New York Times has to say about my elastic-waistband pants and compression socks!”

“In the meantime, enjoy my pregnancy fashion (or lack thereof) and a good story with your kids on Storytime with the Second Lady.”

The great Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas won nationwide praise for an incredible line in his concurring opinion in a ruling earlier this week, which delivered a huge win for the Trump Administration.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the US Supreme Court on Thursday ruled in a 6-3 vote that the Trump Administration is allowed to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for hundreds of thousands of Haitians and Syrians.

The three liberal justices Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson dissented. Justice Samuel Alito wrote the majority ruling.

The Trump Administration will now strip TPS from 350,000 Haitians and 6,000 Syrians.

Earlier this year, a federal judge blocked the Department of Homeland Security from ending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for 350,000 Haitians.

Thomas joined the other five right-leaning justices with a separate opinion that cut right to the real reason the migrants had zero case to begin with.

This can all be summed up with this sentence he wrote:

Even assuming jurisdiction, the equal protection claim fails for the additional reason that aliens have no equal protection rights against the federal government.

This is the only appropriate constitutional interpretation since our founders sought to protect AMERICAN citizens, not foreign aliens.

As one would expect, Thomas won universal praise from conservatives on social media.

Was Caitlin Clark Assaulted in WNBA Game Because She’s a Single Christian Straight White Girl?

On Wednesday, two basketball players on the Arizona WNBA team assaulted the league’s “golden goose,” who brought millions of fans with her to the league coming out of Iowa two years ago. It was brutal.

Fans were outraged –

Fans called for some action by the W – anything –

Enough is enough –

Some observers said it was an assault and that Clark should sue the league for putting her in such a situation.  It was gross.

The front of the neck is not built for a fist. It only takes 12 pounds to crush your wind pipe.

The neck contains the airway, larynx, trachea, voice box, and major vascular structures. Trauma there can affect breathing, swallowing, speech, oxygen flow, and in severe cases can become life-threatening.

Clark was on her back, exposed, trapped in a pile, with a fist forced into her throat area.

The WNBA reviewed it, called it reckless, called it a non-basketball act, upgraded it to a Flagrant 2, and gave one game plus a $1,000 fine.

The WNBA admitted it was dangerous, then punished it like they were annoyed they had to address it.

Player safety cannot depend on whether the worst-case scenario happened this time.

Others cry racism or sexism since Clark is straight and white.

This was a big deal.

After the game, Clark’s coach, who allowed these beatings to happen, appeared outraged. saying she didn’t see the play till after the game.

But this was a lie.  A video released after the game shows White watching the whole thing and walking the other way.  Leaving Clark to pick herself up after the assault.

The next morning the Phoenix team made fun of the assault. “They’re mocking their thug assaulting Caitlin Clark…..”

The media reported this incident by claiming Clark left the game with a back situation.

The back situation was cause from a different foul where the refs went after Clark to see if she was at fault.

This has been Clark’s experience at the WNBA.

This ONE play is a microcosm of Caitlin Clark’s time in the WNBA 🔥

– Multiple flagrant’s
– Ref looking right at it
– No whistle – Not even a common foul
– No teammates had her back
– Her coach wouldn’t fight for her

The @WNBA finally got a household-name, and screwed it up 🤯

Are the girls jealous of Clark because she’s so good?

The league dealt with it like they had to.

Oh, and by the way, the two girls who jumped on Clark are married.

This could be viewed badly – Black Lesbian Married Couple Assaults Single Catholic White Girl – This Is the WNBA

A sickening racial hate crime occurred in the great state of Texas recently due to thugs seeking revenge for Karmelo Anthony’s conviction.

Independent journalist Sarah Fields exclusively revealed that on June 20, Sammie Lee of Longview, Texas, was brutally assaulted by three women after having drinks at the Longview bar Whiskey J’s.

Per Fields, Lee was walking back to her vehicle when she was suddenly jumped by the girls, whom she had never met.

Lee was beaten so badly that she had to get staples on her head, was placed in a neck brace, and covered with blood. She also got a black eye.

Fields revealed that Lee wrote that the perpetrators not only screamed “Free Karmelo!” during the attack but also bragged they were going to target “the smallest white girl they could find.”

Lee added that she” never said a word to these girls,” and “never looked at them.”

The first suspect, 21-year-old Ciarrianne Fuller of Longview, was arrested on Tuesday and booked into the Gregg County Jail.

The other two suspects, 21-year-old Dejae Brown of Pittsburg and 21-year-old Alana Mumphrey of Longview, turned themselves in to law enforcement on Thursday.

Per CBS 19, all three women have been charged with assault causing bodily injury.

Here are their mugshots:

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Karmelo Anthony was sentenced to 35 years in prison on June 9 after a jury convicted him of murder in the fatal stabbing of 16-year-old track and football star Austin Metcalf. He will be eligible for parole after serving half of his sentence.

He was facing 99 years in prison.

Austin Metcalf was brutally stabbed to death by Anthony in April 2025 during a championship track meet at Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas. Numerous eyewitnesses testified that Anthony was the aggressor and instigated the fight.

Following the verdict, several black Americans decided to undertake revenge against people they thought served on the jury.

For example, a Florida man going by the username Combak KidBoe, broadcast himself on Facebook on June 10 while riding his bike through his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida, looking for revenge.

He soon got his wish after stumbling upon a middle-aged man in a hat sitting on the ground, who was harming absolutely no one.

KidBoe demanded to know why the white man was on jury selection before slugging him in the face. He immediately recoiled from the pain.

Even Einstein Admitted He Was Wrong. We Apparently Can’t Expect as Much From Al Gore.

By Gary Abernathy

When it comes to scientific theories, even some of history’s most respected and renowned people and institutions have graciously admitted when they were wrong when confronted with irrefutable evidence.

It took 359 years, but eventually the Catholic Church conceded in 1992 that the church was wrong and Galileo Galilei was right – the Earth revolves around the sun.

Throughout the 18th century, chemists widely believed that a substance called phlogiston was released when materials were burned. But when Antoine Lavoisier demonstrated that many metals often became heavier when burned – the opposite of the phlogiston theory – his contemporaries humbly admitted their error and praised his experiments.

And when scientists, including Edwin Hubble in 1929, demonstrated that the universe is expanding rather than remaining static, as Albert Einstein had theorized, even the revered Einstein readily admitted he was wrong, calling it “my biggest blunder.”

Twenty years ago, in 2006, former Vice President Al Gore released his film, “An Inconvenient Truth,” which included ominous and even hysterical warnings about a coming climate apocalypse if mankind did not dramatically change its ways. In the two decades since its release, the film’s most dire warnings have proven to be inaccurate.

Examining Gore’s film on the anniversary of its release, several writers have pointed out its most glaring errors. For instance, writing for Newsweek, Bjorn Lomborg, president of the Copenhagen Consensus, notes several calamitous predictions in the film that time has proven wrong: deaths from climate-related disasters have actually plummeted; hurricane frequency and intensity have declined; globally, areas burned by wildfires have decreased over the past quarter century; and the supposedly endangered polar bear population – a memorable visual from the Gore film – has more than doubled from the 1960s to today.

“Gore’s apocalyptic climate predictions have aged poorly,” Lomborg concludes.

Over the years, countless critics have pointed out the errors both in Gore’s film and in his ensuing personal crusade as, like Don Quixote, he continues tilting at windmills (while ironically advocating for their proliferation).

Faced with the overwhelming preponderance of evidence refuting his original hypotheses, one might assume that Gore – like the Catholic Church, the chemists of the 18 th century, and even the great Albert Einstein – would humbly concede his mistakes.

One would be wrong.

In a recent interview marking the anniversary of “An Inconvenient Truth,” Gore found an uncritical partner in the form of ABC News meteorologist Ginger Zee, who couldn’t have presented the former vice president in a more heartwarming light if she had somehow commissioned the late Norman Rockwell to paint his portrait.

Despite the obvious numerous mistakes and shortcomings in his film, Gore insisted that he and the scientists he relied upon have been right all along – while simultaneously demonstrating that his
penchant for hyperbole remains unabated.

“The scientists were dead right on all the important elements of it,” Gore insisted, adding that “it really is insane that we are continuing to use the sky as an open sewer and we’re trapping so much heat every day it’s equal to the amount that would be released by 800,000 Hiroshima-class atomic bombs exploding every day on the earth.”

Huh? Would you repeat that please?

It’s “equal to the amount that would be released by 800,000 Hiroshima-class atomic bombs exploding every day on the earth.”

Thanks.

It is little wonder that Gore finds himself so easily mocked. Gore’s atomic bomb analogy originated from climate alarmists who have been using it for years, adding a few hundred thousand to the estimate of bombs every so often.

But for anyone remotely familiar with history, the claim conjures images of people dropping like flies every day because of global warming, since the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 instantly killed more than 100,000 people. Such over-the-top depictions are why so many find it so hard to take seriously the kind of climate change threats that come from the radical left.

Unfortunately for the average citizen – both in the U.S. and worldwide – the far-left (formerly mainstream) media’s enthusiasm for propping up Gore and the climate craze have real-world consequences. Despite mountains of conflicting evidence, the media provides cover for leftwing government types who, when in power, throw billions of dollars toward scientifically unsupported efforts to replace our most affordable and reliable energy resources with defective “alternatives” made feasible only because of taxpayer subsidies.

That’s why Americans deserve the Affordable, Reliable, Clean Energy Security Act either passed into law by Congress, put into effect by presidential executive order, or at the very least embedded into policy by agency rule. While some states are enacting their own versions of ARC-ES, U.S. citizens from coast to coast deserve to be protected from the whims of the climate cult and their self-styled prophets.

We apparently can’t expect Al Gore to show the class of Albert Einstein and admit he was wrong. But it’s entirely realistic to expect our government to protect us from ever again implementing energy policies based on his mistakes. Doing so has already cost us far too much.
