Joe Biden interacts with security at an event featuring Whoopi Goldberg and Jill Biden, highlighting a moment of engagement during a public appearance.

In what has to be one of the most awkward public moments in recent history, former President Joe Biden, 83, hijacked his wife Jill Biden’s debut book event Tuesday night, wandering up to the stage uninvited to ask her, in front of a live audience, “Who do you love most in the whole world?”

The cringe-inducing scene took place at the 92nd Street Y on Manhattan’s Upper East Side during a Q&A session promoting Jill Biden’s new memoir, A View from the East Wing.

The event, moderated by The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg, was meant to celebrate the former First Lady’s reflections on her time in the White House.

Instead, it turned into yet another spotlight-stealing display from the likely senile former president.

Jill Biden, 75, had just wrapped up the discussion when an audience member submitted a comment thanking Joe Biden for his service.

Jill stood and led the room in a standing ovation for her husband, who was seated in the audience.

That’s when Biden decided the moment was all about him.

Without a microphone and flanked by security, Biden left his seat, strolled to the edge of the stage, and interrupted the event by declaring, “I have a question,” according to a report from the New York Post.

“Joe has a question, like you couldn’t ask it later?” Jill fired back.

“Who do you love most in the whole world?” Biden responded, clearly not taking a hint.

“Whoopi,” Jill replied, prompting laughter from the likely-uncomfortable audience.

Biden, apparently unhappy with the response, just stared at her with his mouth agape.

“I love you most, Joe. Was that it? Was that the answer he wanted?” Jill said.

“It’s overwhelming, isn’t it?” Biden replied, still speaking without a microphone.

Jill kept the banter going, joking that she likes to keep him guessing, “Overwhelming, well, that’s what keeps him on his toes. He’s never 100% sure. I always keep him guessing, is that not true?”

At that point, Biden lowered his head and made the sign of the cross, a move that only added to the surreal atmosphere.

Goldberg tried to steer things back on track, urging the audience to buy Jill’s book. But Biden wasn’t done.

Biden pointed and began promoting his own upcoming memoir, “My book, which comes out in September, read it…”

A crew member finally handed him a microphone.

Jill, clearly trying to regain control of her event, joked, “Do I have to remind him that this is my event?”

Biden didn’t stop.

“The only thing that Jill does better than write [is], she’s a beautiful woman,” he said.

Earlier in the talk, Jill reportedly spoke about Joe’s Stage IV prostate cancer diagnosis in May of last year, which had already spread to his bones.

She noted he completed radiation therapy in October and said, “You see Joe here tonight, he looks handsome as ever … but you know, cancer drugs, cancer treatments have those consequences, and those consequences are pretty tough.”

The Gateway Pundit will update this article if the video of the interruption is made public online.

Deranged Former “60 Minutes” Hack Scott Pelley Issues a VERY IRONIC Statement in Response to His Firing from CBS

Fired 60 Minutes propagandist Scott Pelley has responded furiously to his termination, and it’s the equivalent of the pot calling the kettle black.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, CBS News fired Pelley on Tuesday night, a day after he blasted editor-in-chief Bari Weiss and accused her of trying to ‘murder’ the show.

Then, newly appointed “60 Minutes” executive producer Nick Bilton told Pelley in a scathing letter that he was fired “for cause, effective immediately.”

“You hijacked my first meeting with staff to disparage me, my qualifications, and my intentions with remarkable incivility and contempt, Bilton wrote.

“I am here to deliver first-in-class news programming, not to make headlines about newsroom drama, he added. “Your antipathy to the future of the show has come through loud and clear. And I have heard you.”

On Wednesday, Variety obtained Pelley’s response. As one will see, he is living in another world.

Here is the statement:

For my part, new management has instructed me to inject falsehoods and bias into a politically sensitive story. I’ve been told to include assertions that are unverified.

To date, in every case, I have managed to ignore these instructions or refuse them. Recently, politicians have been invited to choose correspondents for interviews on the broadcast. Giving politicians control over 60 Minutes interviews is not how this is done.

Finally, incompetence and unprofessionalism in the new management have wreaked havoc. In a case involving one of my stories, the entire program came within 19 minutes of not getting on the air at all.

What makes this statement so ironic is that Pelley is the very definition of a lying propagandist.

Just last May, he gave a hateful, falsehood-filled graduation speech at Wake Forest University. Unsurprisingly, the focus of his rage was President Trump.

Courtesy of Newsbusters, here were the lowlights of the speech:

Scott Pelley gave a commencement address at Wake Forest University that seethed with implicit hate for President Trump and the MAGA movement, telling graduates “freedom of speech,” “journalism,” “our sacred rule of law,” and “universities” are all “under attack” with “an insidious fear” permeating American “businesses,” “homes,” “school[s],” and even “private thoughts.”

Pelley encouraged graduates to rise up, comparing them to Unionists fighting the Confederacy, the Allies fighting the Nazis, and the civil rights movement standing up to segregationists. So, to make sure we’re all on the same page, Pelley believes Trump and tens of millions of supporters are akin to Confederates, Nazis, and segregationists (so the Ku Klux Klan)…

This led right into the first meltdown about America “need[ing] you” because the country has moved away from a mindset in which “[r]easonable people [can] differ about the life of our country,” instead of “demonize” and “destroy.”

Republican Senate Candidate Barry Moore May Be in Hot Water – Likely Publicly Misrepresented His Military Service Record for Years
June 3, 2026

Republican candidate for Senate, Rep. Barry Moore (R-AL) may be in hot water for misrepresenting his military service record for over a decade.

Barry Moore, Republican congressional candidate, speaking in a cozy indoor setting with a plant and framed pictures in the background.
Rep. Barry Moore in a 2020 ad calls himself a veteran, “I’ve worn those combat boots. I know what it’s like.” Moore said this despite his records showing no active duty military service.

Rep. Moore is taking on former Navy SEAL Jared Hudson in a runoff election to decide who will be the Republican candidate for Senate in Alabama.

Moore has released ads and videos for years claiming to be a veteran of war. Here is one from 2020.

A new poll shows Hudson leading Moore in the Alabama Senate runoff race.

Now, a detailed memorandum with Moore’s accompanying military records alleges that U.S. Representative Barry Moore (AL-02) has materially misrepresented his military service record for over a decade, while simultaneously signing a high-profile letter condemning Democratic vice-presidential nominee Tim Walz for the same category of conduct.

The documents include what appear to be Moore’s actual NGB Form 22, DD Form 220, discharge orders, and Army National Guard Retirement Credits Record. They allegedly claim Moore has built a core piece of his political identity around a military record that does not match his public statements.

Moore has publicly claimed he served for six years. His NGB Form 22, however, lists his total service as 2 years, 6 months, and 21 days, with an honorable discharge effective July 10, 1991. His DD Form 220 shows he entered active duty on March 15, 1989 at Fort Jackson, South Carolina for basic training, with that tour ending May 19, 1989. The documents allege Moore requested early separation to accept civilian employment.

The rank discrepancy is equally stark. Moore signs official correspondence — including a nationally publicized 2024 letter attacking Walz — as “Staff Sergeant — Army National Guard (Ret.).” His NGB Form 22 lists his rank not as Staff Sergeant but as cadet, with a pay grade of E6. A legal analysis accompanying the records explains that this was standard Army National Guard practice for OCS candidates, who were carried at E-5 or E-6 pay grades while holding cadet status under regulations NGR 600-200 and AR 600-8-19. The documents further allege Moore never completed OCS and has no retirement of any kind.

Critically, the legal analysis concludes that Moore does not meet the federal definition of veteran under 38 U.S.C. § 101(2), which requires active military service plus a discharge other than dishonorable.

Title 32 National Guard service — drills, annual training, and officer-candidate training — does not qualify as active military service under that statute. The analysis notes Gulf War-era rules required actual federal activation for veteran eligibility, which weekend drills and OCS did not trigger.

On the question of deployment, the records show none. No overseas service, no combat theater, no deployment of any kind.

According to a 2020 article at YellowHammer news, “At one point in 1992, Moore was notified that he would be deployed as part of Operation Desert Storm, but the war ended while his unit was receiving gas mask training at a military base in the western United States.”

The hypocrisy argument sits at the center of the accompanying memo… In August 2024, Moore signed a letter under the Trump-Vance campaign banner that accused Walz of “falsely claiming military service,” using an unearned title, and abandoning troops before deployment. Moore signed that letter as “Staff Sergeant — Army National Guard (Ret.)” — a title and status the documents allege he did not legitimately earn, under a standard he himself applied to others.

We reached out to the Moore campaign for comment.

Damage in Kuwait airport – Screengrab Social Media/X

The war appears about to restart.

The hostilities in the Gulf region flared again today (3) as an Iranian strike on neighboring Kuwait killed one person, injured at least 63, and caused heavy damage to the international airport.

Reuters reported:

“Meanwhile, the U.S. military carried out strikes near the Strait of Hormuz, and diplomacy to halt the war showed little sign of progress.

The attacks sent oil prices up more than 2%, as the strait remains largely closed more than three months after the U.S. and Israel launched strikes on Iran.

Flights at Kuwait International Airport were suspended after an Iranian drone and missile attack damaged the Terminal 1 building at the airport and diplomatic missions, according to Kuwaiti authorities and state media. It did not say which missions.”

Watch: Kuwait Airport after the Iranian attack.

The devastating overnight attack on Kuwait’s international airport caused widespread damage mere days after it reopened following earlier attacks.

The New York Post reported:

“Videos posted on social media show the smoked-out airport smoldering and covered in debris after the Iranian strikes, which officials said targeted Kuwait International Airport’s Terminal 1, which is used by international airlines.

A ‘number of hostile drones’ caused extensive damage at the airport, which had just reopened on Monday after closing in February due to previous Iran strikes, Kuwait Defense Ministry spokesperson Brig. Gen. Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi said.

Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry said it would ‘neither accept nor tolerate’ the attacks — and warned that it reserves the right to respond against Iran’s offensive.”
