President Trump on Monday blasted UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who announced his resignation earlier, saying he failed on immigration and energy, and that he was not a strong leader.

Trump has previously slammed Starmer for bowing to the green energy lunatics and refusing to drill oil in what Trump called “one of the greatest fields in the World.” Trump said in April, “Aberdeen should be booming. Norway sells its North Sea Oil to the UK at double the price. They are making a fortune.”

The President also pointed to Starmer’s failures on immigration, allowing his country to be invaded by Third World aliens, while speaking to reporters in the Oval Office.

Trump described Starmer as a “lovely man” and “sort of a friend.”

“I wish him well, but he’s got two problems: energy and immigration and crime. But energy and immigration. You know, he’s really hurt himself very, very badly,” Trump said.

WATCH:

Reporter: You’ve been quite critical of Prime Minister Starmer, and he’s now resigned. Your thoughts? And who would you like to see as the next Prime Minister?

Trump: I was critical only from the stand— because I think he’s a lovely man. But I said, you’re really messing up energy. You have windmills all over the place. In the meantime, you have the North Sea oil, and they won’t let anybody drill. It’s one of the great fields in the world. You know that the UK buys much of its energy. You know, where? Norway. You know where they get their oil? The North Sea.

The UK has a much better portion of the North Sea. They don’t want to do it for environmental purposes, okay? And I told him, he’s a very nice man, and he’s sort of a friend of mine. I mean, he was not good to us with NATO, Pete, right? He said we can’t use the island to land. That was a first. For a couple of weeks, he said, well, but ultimately I gave it to you. No. That was a bad move, that hurt him badly, but I mean, I wish him well, but he’s got two problems: energy and immigration and crime. But energy and immigration. You know, he’s really hurt himself very, very badly.

Trump later slammed Starmer and NATO while discussing plans to review the US presence in NATO and its funding.

“We have been a great member of NATO, in many ways, certainly the predominant member. We paid trillions of dollars over the years, not billions, trillions over the years to protect Europe,” he said, noting that NATO wasn’t “there for us” when the war with Iran started.

“Starmer wasn’t there, and you know what? The people of the UK did not like it that he wasn’t there. Starmer said no. Starmer said worse than no. He said, ‘wWe’ll be there as soon as you win.’ I said, ‘We don’t need you as soon as we win.’ Before I went in, we called him. He said, ‘Oh, wow, we’ll be there,’” Trump continued.

“This was not Winston Churchill we’re dealing with, that I can tell you, but Starmer said ‘We’ll be there,’ right Pete, as soon as we win. As soon as we win, they’re going to come and help us!”

Trump then went off on Italy and Germany, calling them “very bad” allies.

“The numbers that we spend are so crazy on NATO, and they weren’t there for us. So, I say to Pete, and I say to everybody else, if we’re spending all of this money, hundreds, just hundreds of millions of dollars to protect them from Russia, mostly— okay, so we’re spending hundreds of millions of dollars a year. You know, the case could be made that we spent all of the money over the years before me,” Trump said.

“Listen, we spend all of this money, and then when we want to, maybe, have help on us on small stuff— this is small time. This is not the big one. This is small potatoes—They say no, we’d rather not help. Stupid thing to say, because we can say that to them if we want, and we might.”

Trump also responded to news of Starmer’s imminent resignation on Sunday, saying he “failed badly on two very important subjects- IMMIGRATION AND ENERGY (OPEN NORTH SEA OIL!,” but wished him well.

A 32-year-old Venezuelan illegal immigrant who was teaching in an Illinois classroom has been arrested by ICE for allegedly acting as the driver and getaway accomplice for two Tren de Aragua (TDA) gang members during a brutal December 2024 mass shooting in Chicago that left three people dead and five others wounded.

Giovanna Mercedes Moreno Occhipinti, a Venezuelan national with dual Italian citizenship, entered the United States in October 2021 under the Visa Waiver Program but overstayed her visa.

She was taken into ICE custody on May 13, 2026, and is currently being held at the Grayson County Detention Center in Leitchfield, Kentucky, pending removal from the country, Fox News reported.

WATCH:

According to the Department of Homeland Security, Occhipinti drove two alleged TDA gang members, Ricardo Granadillo Padilla and Edward Martinez Cermeno, to a house party in Chicago’s Gage Park neighborhood on December 2, 2024.

The gunmen opened fire on the crowd. Three people were killed and five were wounded. Federal authorities say she then helped the shooters flee the scene of the slaughter.

Chicago Police arrested Occhipinti just three days later, on December 5, 2024, after finding multiple weapons in her vehicle. But because Chicago and Illinois are militant sanctuary jurisdictions, she was released without ICE ever being notified, despite the obvious public safety threat tied to a triple homicide.

The two actual shooters were eventually deported. One had even been released from ICE custody earlier by a federal judge due to prosecutorial issues. Occhipinti remained free in the community and was reportedly working as a teacher at a school in the Chicago suburb of Elgin until HSI agents finally tracked her down months later.

Illinois officials have refused to disclose to DHS which school employed her.

San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Landen Roupp wrote “Gen 9:12-16” on his Pride Night hat

Major League Baseball Commissioner Robert Manfred responded to Missouri Senator Josh Hawley’s congressional investigation on Friday, doubling down on the MLB’s decisions to bar players from wearing Bible verses on their uniforms while allowing pride-themed uniforms to be worn. He further blamed the San Francisco Giants for “inadequate” communication with its players for the recent controversy.

This comes after Giants starting pitcher Landen Roupp and relief pitchers JT Brubaker and Ryan Walker stood up to the League’s liberal agenda being foisted upon players and fans by writing verses from Genesis on their hats.

Roupp started on the mound with “Gen 9:12-16” written right next to the Giants logo on the special edition pride hat. He later told reporters that he wore the verse to share “God’s covenant and the promise that He makes to us” and “His faithfulness and His mercy.” Genesis 9:12-16 is where God establishes an “everlasting covenant,” symbolized by the rainbow as an eternal sign of His promise never to flood the Earth again.

The players were subsequently threatened by the MLB for violating league rules. “The writing on the cap violates our rules, and consistent with normal practice, we have warned the players about future violations,” the MLB said in a statement on Monday.

The MLB also faces probes from the Florida Attorney General’s office and the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced a formal probe into the MLB and issued a subpoena last week.

Florida Attorney General Fires off Subpoena to MLB, Announces Formal Investigation into League’s Religious Discrimination Against Christians

Hawley opened a Congressional investigation on Tuesday, demanding documents from MLB Commissioner Robert Manfred following the incident.

“MLB has said this is a content-neutral policy and that MLB ‘respect[s] players’ right to free expression.’ But this is dubious, given that MLB is openly promoting a political viewpoint and possibly compelling adherence to that viewpoint,” Hawley wrote in a letter to Manfred.

"The league’s claim that it merely forbids ‘writing of any kind’ on its uniforms does not survive a cursory review of the league’s recent history. In 2020, MLB itself turned its uniforms and its fields into a billboard for political and social messages. It created jersey patches reading ‘Black Lives Matter’ and ‘United for Change.’ It authorized ‘BLM’ to be stenciled onto pitching mounds. And it suspended its own equipment rules so that players could display progressive political slogans on their cleats," the letter continued.

"The league went beyond tolerating speech — it designed speech, promoted speech, and shoehorned social and political messages into the game broadcast to millions of Americans. Yet when three players added a handful of characters citing the Book of Genesis to their caps, the league reached for its rulebook.”

Manfred responded to Hawley in a letter dated Friday, June 19, denying that it discriminated against Christian players and that the league policy is "enforced without regard to the substance of the messaging."

"The rationale for the policy is that the league does not desire for its players to become messengers for political or social issues while in uniform playing baseball games because many messages have the potential to offend some segment of our fanbase - even if that was not the intent of the player," Manfred claimed, despite the obvious double standard for liberal messages which are promoted by the league.

"By warning the Giants players that they may not include Bible verses on their caps in the future, MLB was not discriminating or chastising those players based on their religious beliefs; rather MLB was enforcing (with only an oral warning) a long-standing, collectively bargained rule that keeps uniforms clean and avoids controversy."

"Clubs at their discretion are permitted to include other celebratory or commemorative days in their schedules," Manfred said, pointing to clubs being allowed to "host faith/religious-related games (including four Clubs that have scheduled three such games this year), games celebrating different ethnicities or nationalities that are part of their communities (including, for example, games celebrating Black, Hispanic, Asian, European, Caribbean, and Canadian heritage), games honoring first responders, and games honoring local military veterans."

But the MLB "does not permit Clubs or players to utilize special uniforms/equipment for such games, or alter the uniform or equipment," he writes. Only pro-LGBTQ uniforms are permitted in the MLB.

Manfred explained that the MLB adopted a policy in 2023 "of not permitting Clubs to utilize special uniforms, hats or equipment in their celebration days except under very narrow circumstances (patches honoring deceased members of the baseball community, commemorating baseball milestones, and things of that nature)." However, the policy exempted the Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers, citing the large LGBTQ communities in those cities.

The exemption still requires "that no player or uniformed staff would be required to wear them, and that the team would speak to the players to make sure they were comfortable with the apparel," Manfred wrote.

Manfred then blamed the Giants organization and the players for a lapse in communication, writing, "Unfortunately, this year the Giants communication with players was inadequate and not clear. Some players apparently did not understand that they had the option to wear their normal uniform and elected to add messages to their hats bearing the pride logo as a result."

"After the game had concluded, my office issued a routine oral warning about the uniform policy violation - unfortunately, it was issued before we became aware of the Giants' lapse in communication. The players were neither fined nor disciplined, nor will they ever be," Manfred added.

He emphasized that no player will be forced to wear gay pride paraphernalia, but that it remains "crucial" for the MLB to prevent players from voluntarily wearing Bible verses on their uniforms under its policy, which bars messages on uniforms-- unless, of course, the San Francisco Giants or Los Angeles Dodgers want to wear pride uniforms.

"In closing, MLB believes in the right of our players and fans to express their religious beliefs, and at the same time supports the communities in this country that are fans of our Clubs, including the LGBTQ community. We believe that a policy permitting our Clubs to celebrate or honor segments of its fanbase, yet does not require players or other on-field personnel to directly participate in the celebration in ways that make them uncomfortable, strikes the right balance. We also believe that it is crucial to maintain our policy prohibiting..." Manfred concludes.

The message is clear: Christian players have no right to express their religion and will be penalized if they alter their uniforms with Bible verses, but Pride Night is exempt from MLB rules.

However, Hawley claimed victory, claiming that Manfred "admits they were wrong to threaten the Giants players over Bible verses and promises never to fine or discipline these players - or any players for their religious beliefs."

Manfred said the players involved in the Giants' Pride Night controversy "were neither fined nor disciplined, nor will they ever be," but he didn't admit anything of the sort. In fact, he doubled down on the "routine oral warning about the uniform policy violation."

Can we expect the Republicans to actually do something about Major League Baseball's religious bias, favoring secular pride displays over Christianity? Or will they continue selling us fake wins and allow Christians to be discriminated against?

Entitled California State Workers Threaten ‘Mass Exodus’ Over Return-to-Office Order

Entitled California State Workers Threaten ‘Mass Exodus’ Over Return-to-Office Order
June 22, 2026

California state workers are threatening a “mass exodus” after Gov. Gavin Newsom ordered employees to return to the office four days a week beginning July 1.

The mandate would largely end the remote-work arrangements many state employees have enjoyed since the COVID hysteria.

Left-wing union leaders have launched a campaign against the order, including billboards near Sacramento highways warning of heavier traffic and overcrowded offices.

Anica Walls, president of SEIU Local 1000, insisted have been performing their jobs effectively from home for years.

“Since COVID we have been working and doing the jobs and being efficient and doing the jobs to keep California running,” Walls said.

State workers are backing legislation that would require agencies to offer telework options unless they can justify why a position must be performed in person.

Democratic Assemblyman Alex Lee, who introduced the bill, said many state employees consider remote work their top concern.

“I have heard from so many state workers from even the Bay Area all up and down the state who said this is the thing that matters the most to them,” Lee said.

The union claims telework saves California taxpayers up to $225 million annually through reduced office costs.

Newsom has acknowledged opposition to the policy but is not changing his position.

“Change is hard. I’m empathetic,” the governor said during a recent budget presentation.

“Four days a week, nice to see you again. I mean, would be nice to see you again, nice to see you again, nice to run into you in the hall, nice to develop a relationship, nice not feel so alone.”

Business leaders have largely welcomed the return of state workers.

Robert Heidt, president of the Sacramento Metro Chamber, said offices provide opportunities for collaboration, training and economic activity that remote work cannot fully replace.

“I can’t imagine that we can sustain an acceptable level of business and commerce with everyone remote. It just doesn’t make sense,” he said.

Union officials, however, warn some employees would rather retire or leave state service than spend most of the workweek back in the office.

“I feel like there will be a mass exodus,” Walls said. “I feel like the state needs to be ready for a mass exodus.”

The standoff sets up a growing clash between Newsom and thousands of government employees, many of whom would be his most fervent supporters.

Mitch McConnell’s Office Releases Statement After Latest Hospitalization
June 22, 2026

Senator Mitch McConnell’s office released a statement on Monday after he was hospitalized last Sunday morning.

The 84-year-old Kentucky Senator was rushed to the hospital last week and was “receiving excellent care” the spokesman said.

It is unclear why McConnell was admitted to the hospital.

On Monday, McConnell’s office said the Kentucky Senator will not be voting this week.

“Senator McConnell is still working closely with staff on Senate business and Kentucky matters as he continues his recovery. However, he will not be voting this week,” McConnell’s office said.

This is the second time McConnell has been hospitalized in the last couple months.

Earlier this year McConnell was hospitalized with flu-like symptoms.

“In an abundance of caution, after experiencing flu-like symptoms over the weekend, Senator McConnell checked himself into a local hospital for evaluation last night,” a spokesperson for McConnell said in February.

His prognosis is positive and he is grateful for the excellent care he is receiving. He is in regular contact with his staff and looks forward to returning to Senate business,” the spokesperson added.

McConnell is suffering from a myriad of health problems.

Last October, McConnell took a nasty fall in the Russell basement.

McConnell fell down hard and had to be helped up. It is important to note that McConnell has a weak leg after suffering from Polio as a child.
