Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to statewide office in Minnesota and a convert from Catholicism, has quietly returned at least $12,500 in campaign cash from Somali figures tied to the massive Feeding Our Future welfare fraud after a secret recording surfaced of him huddling with the same crowd to fend off state investigators.

According to the Center of the American Experiment, the five refunded contributions included donations from Gandi Yusuf Mohamed and Liban Alishire, both of whom became defendants in the Feeding Our Future case.

As The Gateway Pundit reported in December, the 54-minute recording, obtained by the Center of the American Experiment and later entered as a trial exhibit, captured Ellison schmoozing with Somali-American operators who would later be charged or convicted in the Feeding Our Future scheme that looted more than $250 million in federal child-nutrition money meant for hungry kids.

The meeting participants complained that state regulators were acting in a “racist, xenophobic, Islamophobic manner” by asking questions about phantom meal sites.

“The only way we can protect what we have is by inserting ourselves into the political arena, putting our votes where it needs to be, but most importantly, putting our dollars in the right place,” Feeding Our Future consultant Abshir Omar said.

“But if you are secure in your donor base, and if you are secure in your power base, you can act the way you want to act,” Omar continued.

“Money is freedom,” Ellison replied with a laugh.

The group then promised “serious money” and “serious organizing” to support Ellison.

“I’m here to help,” Ellison told them. “Let’s fight these people … put a stop to it.”

Ellison also promised to summon Minnesota Department of Education officials to his office.

“I’ll call them in my office and demand some explanations,” he said.

Nine days after Ellison privately met with Gandi’s sister, Ikram Yusuf Mohamed, and other figures tied to Feeding Our Future, Gandi Mohamed contributed the maximum $2,500 to Ellison’s campaign on December 20, 2021.

Ellison’s campaign did not return Gandi Mohamed’s donation until May 2025, shortly after the explosive recording of the December 2021 meeting became public.

Three additional $2,500 contributions accepted on December 20, 2021, were reportedly returned on December 31, 2025, the final day of the campaign-finance reporting period.

Those three donors were associated with people or organizations connected to Feeding Our Future, although they have not been charged with wrongdoing.

Ellison previously returned another $2,500 donation from Feeding Our Future defendant Liban Alishire in September 2022, shortly after Alishire was indicted.

That brings the total returned fraud-linked campaign cash to at least $12,500.

In March 2026, Ikram Mohamed pleaded guilty to wire fraud for helping steal and launder $14.6 million in taxpayer money intended to feed hungry children during the COVID-19 pandemic. Gandi Mohamed pleaded guilty the following month for his role in the scheme.

The Gateway Pundit also reported that Senator Josh Hawley confronted Ellison during a fiery Senate hearing and accused him of helping Feeding Our Future figures get investigators “off their backs.”

“You took $10,000 from them nine days after the meeting!” Hawley shouted.

“You helped fraudsters defraud the state, and you got a fat campaign contribution out of it! You ought to be indicted!”

Ellison repeatedly denied Hawley’s allegations and called them lies.

The Feeding Our Future operation stole approximately $250 million from a federal child-nutrition program by falsely claiming to have served millions of meals to needy children. The money was instead spent on luxury vehicles, real estate, jewelry, and other personal expenses.

Lindi Li is a former DNC fundraiser and Democrat Party operative who blew the whistle after the 2024 election about the reckless spending of the Kamala Harris campaign. She has repeatedly made the case that another Harris run will be impossible because the donor class will never allow it.

Now she is back in the news with some thoughts about the rise of the radical Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

According to Li, the Joe Biden presidency is to blame for the rise of radical socialists in the party.

Lindy Li, a former Democratic fundraiser who left the party after her warnings about then-President Joe Biden’s decline went unheeded during the 2024 campaign, says Democrats’ leadership vacuum has helped fuel the Democratic Socialists of America’s string of victories in 2026.

“They’re a metastasizing cancer,” Li told Fox News Digital in an interview.

“I had a bird’s-eye view from the beginning, you know, [to] the ascent of the DSA — power abhors a vacuum. They’re simply filling a vacuum. There’s no one there.”

According to Li, the DSA has pressured candidates for years to push their platforms further and further left — a process she said she experienced firsthand when, in 2018, she tried to run for Congress herself. Li, who is publishing a new book titled “Unburdened” later this year, believes it’s one of the many layers of how the DSA and socialists have emerged as a force to be reckoned with within the Democratic Party in 2026.

In her own experience, the DSA’s pressure came in the form of a questionnaire.

“These over-educated bums, which populated the DSA — that’s what they are — basically forced me to adopt its platform by handing me a questionnaire and saying, ‘everyone in this congressional race must fill out this questionnaire,’” Li recalled.

At the time, in 2018, Li said she felt like she didn’t have a choice but to fill out the form and didn’t expect the answers to stick with her. She was running for Pennsylvania’s 5th Congressional District.

She seems pretty serious about making this point.

She also seems to have been red-pilled on Trump. She defended Trump when he ended the temporary protected status for Haitians entering the US.

President Donald Trump responded with anger Monday after he was asked about nuking Iran.

During an open session with the media, Trump was asked about using a nuclear weapon on Iran.

“Well, I would never say that, but the answer is yes. I ruled out — there’s no reason for it,” Trump said, according to a video posted to X.

“What a stupid question that is, actually. Here they are — they’re totally defeated militarily, so now I defeat them, and now I should use a nuclear weapon on top of them? What a stupid question!” Trump said.

As noted in another video posted to X, Trump said that Iran is largely a failed state that refuses to recognize the fact.

“They’re a failed nation,” he said

“They’ve got 350 percent inflation. They have no currency. They’re not paying their soldiers. Their leaders are largely dead. Their navy is gone. Their air force is gone. Their surveillance equipment is almost entirely gone. That doesn’t mean we won’t smack them.”

Trump said the United States is in control of the Strait of Hormuz.

“Many, many ships got through last night, as you know, with the Navy’s assistance, and we’ve been averaging 30 ships a night. That’s a lot, and a lot of oil’s coming out,” Trump said

“That’s why you haven’t seen the price of oil go like they thought it might have to go … I could go on for an hour about what a great job we’ve done,” he said.

Trump noted that the root cause of the war was to deny Iran a nuclear weapon.

“You see, that’s what it’s all about,” he said

“It’s not about any of the other things. It’s about … we as a country and for the world, Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. If Iran had a nuclear weapon, Israel would have been wiped out, You would have Israel right now. You’d probably have no Middle East, and they’d be hitting our cities at some point,” he said.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Iran is pursuing a short-sighted policy in trying to turn the Strait of Hormuz into a private pond, according to the Independent.

“In two years, the Strait of Hormuz will be like a worthless piece of water,” he said Tuesday.

Democrats Use Anonymous Whistleblower to Claim President Trump’s EO on Mail-In Ballots Is “Potentially Catastrophic”

You just can’t make this stuff up.  The lying Dems are now using an “anonymous” source to claim that President Trump’s EO regarding Mail-In ballots will be “catastrophic”.

Showing their extraordinary bias, CBS claimed the following:

A whistleblower is warning of “potentially catastrophic problems” with the U.S. Postal Service’s new system for handling mail ballots. The whistleblower is accusing the agency of flouting court rulings by continuing to work on implementing a Trump executive order to tighten mail voting rules before the November midterm elections.

Described by lawyers as a federal official, the anonymous whistleblower revealed the information about the Postal Service’s mail-voting procedures in a disclosure provided to Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut that was made public Tuesday. In response, Blumenthal is now questioning Postmaster General David Steiner about the Postal Service’s development of a new online portal to house information about voters and their mail ballots.

“The main takeaway for me is that the Postal Service has designed a system to disenfranchise millions of Americans,” Blumenthal told reporters. “One third of all Americans cast their ballots by mail, and the USPS puts all of their votes at risk.”

This report is laughable on multiple fronts.

1. Using an anonymous whistleblower making comments to fit their passion for uncontrolled mail-in ballots is laughable.  The Democrats want no controls around ballots so they can insert millions of votes for their far-left candidates.  Preventing the insertion of bogus votes in one method used to steal elections in prior elections.  President Trump’s EO prevents mail-in ballots from reaching counting centers that have not been properly inserted into the election.

2. Using “Da Nang Dick” Blumenthal as your mouthpiece ties you to dishonest reporting.  Senator Blumenthal gained his nickname for claiming he served in Vietnam, which was a lie.

3. Democrats are also parading the creator of the corrupt ERIC voter roll machine to make their case.  This, too, shows their desperation.

4. David Becker was on Face the Nation over the weekend, where he shared objections to the President’s EO.  Becker is the mastermind behind the ERIC trainwreck.

What is clear is that the Democrats, along with China and other foreign entities, demand uncontrolled elections where bogus votes can be inserted into elections.  This is how elections are stolen.

Hunter Biden just confessed that the millions he collected from the corrupt Ukrainian energy giant Burisma didn’t just sit in some consulting account. He used that foreign cash to keep his crack pipe lit.

And while he was living in a Washington, D.C. drug den with a homeless crack dealer nicknamed “Bicycles,” his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, rolled up in a taxpayer-funded motorcade of six SUVs, Secret Service agents at his side, and knocked on the door, Page Six reported.

Hunter dropped the details on the addiction podcast Dopey with host Dave Manheim. When asked how he never went broke during years of crack, prostitutes, luxury bungalows at the Chateau Marmont, and motel benders, Hunter didn’t hesitate.

“I never went broke… Well, I still had the residual. Like for instance, I still was on the board of Burisma.”

He stayed on that board for years after his father left the vice presidency. The requirement? Show up four times a year.

“Even when I was a crack addict and out of my mind, I could show up for four meetings a year,” Hunter bragged.

The Bidens have spent a decade insisting Hunter’s $50,000-a-month (and in some periods $83,333-a-month) Burisma gig was legitimate work by a qualified expert.

The Gateway Pundit published the Ukrainian payment records back in 2019: 46 payments, 38 of them for $83,333, totaling more than $3.1 million in a single stretch.

Hunter had zero energy experience. His father was Obama’s point man on Ukraine. The conflict was obvious to everyone except the corporate media.

Now Hunter himself is saying the checks kept coming while he was “out of his mind” on crack.

Hunter described the scene at his D.C. apartment, the same place where he had moved in his crack dealer, a longtime street addict he called Bicycles.

“My dad showed up. He literally showed up at the house twice, you know, and just knocked on the door.”

He would hear the cars first.

“I’d look out my window because I’d hear all these cars and you’d see like six SUVs pull up and my dad get out and walk with one or two [Secret Service] guys because they have to be next to him. And I’d hear a knock on my door, and I’d open it, and… there I would be, in all of the obviousness of someone that was in distress.”

Joe Biden, according to his son, asked: “Please, like, what are you going to do tomorrow? What’s the plan?”

Hunter said he thinks his father “ran into” Bicycles. The Vice President of the United States, flanked by armed Secret Service, standing in a crack house talking to his strung-out son and the dealer living there.

The Gateway Pundit first published the Burisma payment ledgers in 2019. We covered Devon Archer’s testimony that Joe Biden joined more than 20 phone calls with Hunter’s foreign business associates.

We reported the emails showing Burisma executives wanted Hunter to use his “influence” to stop investigations. We covered the laptop, the “10% for the Big Guy” messages, the Chinese deals, and the two-tiered justice system that let Hunter skate on tax and gun charges until the political calendar made it inconvenient.

Hunter can now go on every podcast in America talking about his “recovery” and how addicts “can do a lot of cool stuff.” Fine. Recovery is good. But the American people still have not gotten a straight answer on why a sitting Vice President’s son was paid millions by a Ukrainian oligarch under investigation for corruption, why those payments continued while Hunter was in active addiction, and why Joe Biden’s Secret Service detail was making house calls to a crack den.
