Finally, he got humbled by Donald J. The emboldened Labour advisers to the PM are pushing hard for an early (‘snap’) election next year, to perpetuate their disastrous rule over Britain.

The Telegraph reported:

“Several senior members of Andy Burnham’s team believe that calling an election in spring would give Labour the best chance of another majority.

A constituency-level poll released on Thursday by YouGov showed Labour would remain the largest party if an election were called tomorrow but fall 85 seats short of a majority.

[…] One senior government source told The Telegraph there was a ‘diverse opinion across Government’ over the timing of the next election but said Labour would be ‘naive not to be contemplating all scenarios’.

First Lady Melania Trump and Madame Peng Liyuan visited the Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art in Washington, DC today, where they explored works spanning centuries of artistic achievement and cultural exchange and shared a special moment with students from the Washington, DC area.

Upon arrival, the First Lady and Madame Peng were welcomed by leadership of the Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art before beginning their tour of the museum’s collections.

The First Lady and Madame Peng then viewed the Smithsonian’s celebrated Peacock Room, one of the museum’s most distinctive and immersive works of art.

Created by American artist James McNeill Whistler in 1876–77, the Peacock Room transforms an entire interior into a dazzling composition of blue, green, and gold. Inspired in significant part by Chinese porcelain and Japanese design, Whistler covered the room with shimmering patterns and fanciful depictions of peacocks, creating a singular work in which painting, architecture, and decorative arts converge. Purchased by American collector Charles Lang Freer in 1904, the room was transported from London to the United States and has been a centerpiece of the museum in Washington since 1923.

Today, the Peacock Room stands as a remarkable meeting point of American art and Asian artistic traditions, reflecting the ways artists and collectors have found inspiration across cultures and generations.

The First Lady and Madame Peng continued their visit with a viewing of a Qianlong-period Chinese porcelain vase, dating to the 18th century. Produced in Jingdezhen during the Qing dynasty, the vase features elaborate floral decoration executed in colorful famille rose enamels, gold, and iron red over a pale glaze. The work is part of the Freer Gallery of Art’s collection and reflects the extraordinary technical and decorative sophistication of imperial Chinese porcelain during the Qianlong era.

Museum leadership who served as guides for the visit were Jan Stuart, Melvin R. Seiden Curator of Chinese Art at the National Museum of Asian Art, and Chase Robinson, Dame Jillian Sackler Director of the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery and Freer Gallery of Art.

The visit concluded with a musical performance by the youth choir from Hope Chinese School, who performed “Jasmine Flower” and “Songs & Smiles” for the First Lady and Madame Peng.

The young students’ performance offered a joyful and memorable conclusion to the visit, bringing together the beauty of artistic expression, the appreciation of cultural heritage, and the shared experience of young people discovering the enduring power of art and music.

Monmouth University in New Jersey wants people training to be counselors in education to think of themselves as social justice advocates.

If you’re not familiar with that term, ‘social justice’ is code for pretty much everything the far left believes in.

Higher education in the United States has been reduced to nothing more than political indoctrination for the left, and we are reminded of this constantly.

New Jersey university trains counseling students to be ‘social justice advocates’

Monmouth University’s Educational Counseling Program trains all students to be “social justice advocates,” according to a recent report by watchdog group Legal Insurrection.

The program’s 2025-26 manual, which was recently removed from the university website, stated that students will focus on racial diversity by participating in various “anti-racism” courses and activities, Legal Insurrection reported.

“The program is committed to training each counseling student to become a social justice advocate through self-awareness, understanding, knowledge, and advocacy skills,” the manual states.

Like hundreds of other university counseling programs, Monmouth’s Education Counseling Program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs. CACREP accreditation explicitly requires diversity, equity, and inclusion as “integral to counselor preparation,” and requires programs to document DEI coverage.

To fulfill these standards, the New Jersey-based university’s most recent 2025-26 program implemented all parts of the Multicultural and Social Justice Counseling Competencies framework.

Endorsed by the American Counseling Association, MSJCC consists of four components of the “multicultural and social justice praxis”: counselor self-awareness, client worldview, the counseling relationship, and advocacy interventions. Each is examined through the lens of a counselor or client’s “privileged” or “marginalized” status.

Each course is designed to facilitate “multicultural perspectives, highlighting awareness, understanding, and knowledge of diversity and social justice issues,” the manual states.

The left is intent on politicizing everything and doing so in their favor.

They know that they have an advantage with education because they control it, and that’s all this is.

They’re playing the long game and stacking the deck.

It is way past time to think about serious higher education reforms, especially when it comes to funding.

An 18-year-old American kid is dead. Another freshman teammate is in the hospital. And the man charged with the killing should never have been here.

Federal law enforcement sources tell Fox News congressional correspondent Bill Melugin that the suspect in last weekend’s fatal stabbing of a UMass Dartmouth football player is a Nigerian national who overstayed a B-2 visitor visa, was shielded from deportation by the Biden administration in 2022, and was reportedly shielded again when the Trump administration approved another deferred-action request in October 2025.

Chukwunonso Uzoma David Uzoma Eze, 19, a UMass Dartmouth student, is charged with murder in the death of freshman running back Marvins Antoine and with the stabbing of freshman defensive back Kensley Macean.

The attack happened shortly after midnight Saturday, Sept. 19, in a Wendy’s parking lot across from Mezzo Lounge on Charles Street in Providence, Rhode Island, after an altercation that started in the club line, according to the Providence Police Department.

Antoine, 18, a Durfee High School product from the Boston area, was stabbed in the chest and pronounced dead at Rhode Island Hospital.

Macean, 19, suffered non-life-threatening wounds to the head, neck, and arm.

Police say Eze fled. Flock license-plate cameras helped track the vehicle. UMass Dartmouth campus police took him into custody.

On Monday, he pleaded not guilty to a fugitive-from-justice charge in New Bedford District Court, waived extradition, and was ordered held without bail pending transfer to Rhode Island, where prosecutors plan murder and felony assault charges.

On Aug. 24, 2023, he applied for employment authorization. That request was rejected Sept. 25, 2023. On Feb. 10, 2025, he filed two applications: one for employment authorization based on deferred action, which remains pending; and another for deferred action, which was approved Oct. 8, 2025, and is set to expire Oct. 7, 2027. On Sept. 21, 2026, the Bristol County Sheriff’s Department in Massachusetts arrested him on a fugitive-from-justice warrant.

Entered on a tourist visa in 2015. Two extensions under Obama. Then he stayed. Biden’s DHS granted deferred action in September 2022, a discretionary choice to delay deportation.

It is not legal status. It is a permission slip to remain while the government looks the other way. He applied for a work permit in 2023 and was rejected.

He applied again in February 2025. Trump’s DHS approved a new deferred-action grant on October 8, 2025, good through October 2027. Eleven days before the stabbing, Massachusetts deputies picked him up on the fugitive warrant.

Former Pennsylvania Congressman Curt Weldon recently sat down with investigative journalist Pete Santilli and unloaded what he calls the biggest cover-up in modern American history: an Army intelligence program named Able Danger identified Mohammed Atta and the New York al-Qaeda cell a full year before September 11, 2001 — and attempts to hand that intelligence to the Justice Department were blocked three separate times.

Weldon, who oversaw the cutting-edge data-mining effort at the Army’s Information Dominance Center while serving as vice chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, says the charts naming Atta were produced before the attacks and later shown to National Security Advisor Steve Hadley, who allegedly admitted President Bush had never been briefed on the program.

Weldon pins the blackout on institutional sabotage.

He says the CIA rejected his 1999 push for a fusion center, Jamie Gorelick’s “firewall” memo kept military intel away from civilian law enforcement, and the 9/11 Commission — run by executive director Philip Zelikow — scrubbed Able Danger and the congressionally created Gilmore Commission from its final report.

After Army intel officer Colonel Tony Shaffer tried to brief Zelikow on Able Danger, Weldon says Shaffer’s security clearance was yanked and his career torched.

He also points to former National Security Advisor Sandy Berger stealing and destroying classified 9/11 documents from the National Archives before testimony, walking away with what Weldon calls a slap-on-the-wrist plea deal.

The former congressman goes further still. Citing what he describes as at least ten independent sources — including a U.S. operative “in the room when the deal was cut” — Weldon claims Osama bin Laden was given safe harbor in Iran after 9/11. The Gateway Pundit reached out to confirm this with a second source.

Weldon also says U.S. intelligence had a month’s warning before the USS Cole bombing and that he was personally warned of a 2005 Iranian plot to crash a Canadian airliner into New Hampshire’s Seabrook nuclear reactor.

Weldon finished the Able Danger manuscript with former CIA analyst Dr. Peter Pry in 2006, then sat on it for nearly two decades after lawyers told him publishing would intensify attacks on his family — including a federal raid on his daughter’s home just before the 2006 election that cost him his seat.

He says new documents from the vast House archives finally forced his hand on the 25th anniversary of 9/11.

Weldon is now calling on President Trump to appoint a new, impartial 9/11 commission, engage Putin on the buried history of U.S.–Russia offers to lock down fissile material headed for Iran, and expose what he brands a deep-state machine that spins intelligence, silences whistleblowers, and sells endless war.
