Zelensky is in a tough spot – Wiki Commons

Zelensky now has a direct political opponent, as the MSM is letting go of his hand.

Yesterday, as Ukraine celebrated its 35th Independence Day, a flurry of heads of state and government and other political leaders converged on Kyiv, making the usual protestations of support.

Today, the new British Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, made his first international trip to Kyiv, bringing the blueprints for Storm Shadow missiles.

But if you take a look at the world’s headlines, you will find an astonishing change in the wind direction, as several outlets speculate about the end of Volodymyr Zelensky’s power.

A cursory search reveals:

Unherd: Zelensky is running out of political cover;

BBC: The campaign to replace Zelensky;

WSJ: Zelensky’s Leadership Comes Under Biggest Threat Since War Began;

Tovima: How Long Can Zelensky Hold On?;

Berliner Zeitung: Zelensky’s time is up: Only a resignation will make him a war hero;

The Times: Is the tide at home turning against President Zelensky?;

The Telegraph: Is this the beginning of the end for Zelensky?

That level of questioning is unheard of – but, of course, it coincides with dozens of articles and op-eds guaranteeing that ‘Ukraine is actually winning the war’, and that ‘Zelensky is safe as houses’.

In the meantime, Ukraine now has a popular, outspoken opposition leader in the figure of former Defense Minister Mikhaylo Fedorov.

And if his call for wartime elections was not enough, Fedorov has now said that Zelensky must be questioned about rampant corruption in his government.

BBC reported:

“He told the BBC that a money laundering investigation announced last week meant Zelensky should be asked about his awareness of potential corruption within his inner circle.

[…] The former minister also repeated his appeal for elections to be held in Ukraine, days after releasing a video where he called for a wartime vote.

[…] ‘We should not be afraid of discussing it. That’s what democracy is all about. If I cannot share my ideas and be open about them with my own society, then what are we fighting for?’”

SUCH A FRAUD: Margaret Brennan Says Biden Regime Did Not Mandate Vaccines for Children – Then This Previous Video of Margaret Brennan Surfaces
August 24, 2026

It must be difficult being a mainstream media mouthpiece these days. You have to sort through the all the lies from yesterday to promote the newest set of lies you promote to the American public.

Take for example, Margaret Brennan.

The silly CBS News anchor thinks we forgot about the BS she was shoving down our throats about COVID not so long ago.

On Sunday, Brennan lectured the brilliant Dr. Mehmut Oz, the current administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), that the COVID vaccines were NOT forced on American children.

This proves she has no respect for the American public to push such trash on her audience.

Here is Margaret Brennan with Dr. Oz on Sunday:

Dr. Mehmut Oz: “The question again, this comes back to a much more fundamental issue, Margaret. Do parents have the right to ask questions? We already experienced what happened during COVID when we took away that right from parents. They were forced to give their kids COVID vaccines.

Margaret Brennan: (interrupting) They were not forced to give their kids vaccines…

Dr. Mehmut Oz: Well, they were pushed hard and oftentimes hindered from doing what they wanted to do, like going out socially if their kids were not included in these programs…

Margaret Brennan: (interrupting) No, of course it’s not up to the state.

Dr. Mehmut Oz: It’s not up to the federal government. It’s up to the states. States do this. The request of the president is to make sure that states offer parents either eligibility because of religious beliefs or other reasons why they may not want to have their kids take all the vaccines in order. Let’s pick a specific example. Hepatitis B. Hepatitis B vaccine I happen to like. I got the hepatitis B vaccine, but it helps adults avoiding issues if they’re involved. For example, in my case as a doctor, if I were to hit myself with a needle with a patient, but it usually is for drug abusers and for people who are involved in — or infants who could be exposed by a caregiver, by someone in their house, by parent unwittingly, which is why it is provided extraordinarily.

Dr. Oz is so exceptional. We are so fortunate to have him lead the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services today.

Here is yesterday’s video clip via Chief Nerd:

Then later on Sunday, this video popped up online from 2021 when Margaret Brennan admitted their was a COVID vaccine mandate for children.

Here’s Margaret Brennan in 2021 pushing the COVID mandates:

Margaret Brennan: Why aren’t you able to convince more of your constituents to go get immunized?

West Virginia Governor Jim Justice: Well, Margaret, we’re a long ways from being in crisis in West Virginia. If you look—

Margaret Brennan: Um, you do seem to have hit a wall with the younger people in your state. You’ve done all these things with mascots, with your bulldog baby dog. You’ve got— given away guns. You’re giving away these things. Why can’t you increase vaccinations? You yourself at your press conference this week encouraged parents to vaccinate their children. California’s governor’s mandating. Kids 12 to 17 get a vaccine to go into the schoolroom after around January. Are you going to mandate it for school kids as well?

Jim Justice: No chance.

Margaret Brennan: Why? No chance. Why? You mandate as governor—

Via Jefferey Jaxen:

What a fraud. If CBS was a responsible news organization they were issue a correction to Sunday’s segment. Don’t hold your breath.

How the Left Turned Lindsay Clancy Into a Martyr… Put Men on Trial… And Forgot the Children (VIDEO)
August 24, 2026

Masculinity is on trial. Innocent life is being pushed aside. And the Lindsay Clancy murder trial has become the latest political spectacle exposing just how far the radical left has gone.

Clancy killed her three young children. Yet liberal wine moms and blue-haired activists are rallying behind her, turning the woman who killed her children into the victim while three dead kids somehow become an afterthought.

And who does the left find a way to blame? The man.

With no evidence connecting her husband to the murders, the attacks on masculinity begin anyway. The grieving father becomes part of the indictment.

This is what happens when a movement spends years teaching women that men are the enemy while simultaneously embracing a culture that devalues innocent life.

They hate men. They have embraced death. And now we are watching those two ideologies collide.

On Stinchfield, we expose what the Lindsay Clancy spectacle says about masculinity, motherhood and a culture that increasingly struggles to recognize its victims.

Panic Increases in Iran as the Endgame Is Near for the Islamic Terrorist Regime

President Trump says that the end of the terrorist regime in Iran is near.

POTUS says Iran is completely collapsing.

It was only a matter of time. They cannot sell their oil to China, their economy is crushed, they cannot pay their soldiers, and they do not have the means to defend themselves or fight back.

Trump and the US MIL don’t have to do anything. They just have to maintain their overwhelmingly dominant position, and Iran will implode from within. Modern day siege warfare.

I hesitate to even call this a “war” because Iran had a 0% win probability from the get go. There was maybe a 48 hour period where you could even call this “war” in the traditional sense. It was a vastly superior and technologically advanced military force, that precisely exterminated key military targets, while maintaining the civilian population and infrastructure, all without putting boots on the ground.

The only real obstacle we have to manage, is the corrupt MSM, who want to make The People believe this was a failure, when in reality, it will go down as the most successful military operation in history.

Iran isn’t the only nation suffering from the US blockade.  China is suffering as well.  In years past, China was happy to obtain oil from Iran on the cheap.  Now that oil is gone.

Reuters on Friday noted that Iran’s offers of shipments for September and October are down from July and August sales and there have been no sightings of an actual Iranian supertanker crossing the Strait of Hormuz since July.

It is possible that some ships might have slipped through by switching off their Automatic Identification System (AIS) transponders and “running dark.” U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said on Wednesday that American forces have “redirected 65 commercial vessels, disabled 3 and boarded 2 to ensure compliance” since the blockade was reimposed.

Iran had a large quantity of oil stored outside the blockade zone before July and that inventory has dwindled from 105 million barrels to 80 million, according to ship tracking service Kpler.

The NYT and lying left media tried to call Iran a quagmire, yet no US troops were in the country.  The regime has been destroyed and 90% of the military.  The oil sold by the Islamic regime overseeing the country is down to nothing.  The satellite entities of the regime, Hamas, Hezbollah, Venezuela, and the cartels have been nearly totally destroyed or taken over.

The only real obstacle we have to manage, is the corrupt MSM, who want to make The People believe this was a failure, when in reality, it will go down as the most successful military operation in history.

The lying media will soon have egg on its face again.

We truth tellers will win.

What a brilliant strategy by President Trump.  The world is so much safer as a result.

BREAKING: Treasury Secretary Bessent Unveils Economic Sanctions Against Iran (VIDEO)
August 24, 2026

Treasury Secretary Scott on Monday unveiled economic sanctions against Iran.

Last week, President Trump said his next move will be “economic warfare and isolation on an unprecedented scale” against Iran.

Trump said that any country that aids Iranian financial institutions, airports, or businesses will face economic consequences.

“This will be an ECONOMIC D-DAY,” Trump said.

On Monday, Bessent announced new sanctions against Iran dubbed “Operation Economic Outcast.”

“Treasury has mapped every node, every facilitator, and every network that Iran has used to smuggle oil and evade sanctions,” Bessent said.

“Beginning today, the actions of Treasury and other agencies will tighten the noose and block every potential source of revenue that funds the IRGC and the evil Iranian Regime!” Bessent said.

“We are enforcing a zero leakage approach.”

“There will be no minimal breathing space for the regime to rebuild this capacity to inflict terror against America and the world.”

“The final refuge of this regime is a mistaken conclusion of nations that still finance the Iranian threat in the hopes of evading it,” he said.

Switzerland’s Asylum Crisis: 80% of North African Applicants Accused of Crimes as Calls Grow for Mass Deportations

Switzerland via Wikimedia Commons

Switzerland is facing renewed demands for mass removals of failed asylum seekers after an internal government analysis found that 80.5% of applicants from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia were accused of at least one criminal offense during or after their asylum proceedings.

The same group, interestingly, has virtually no prospect of being allowed to remain—around 99 percent of their asylum applications are rejected.

The figures, compiled by Switzerland’s State Secretariat for Migration and reported on by Blick, have intensified criticism of an asylum system that opponents say allows large numbers of young foreign men with almost no chance of receiving protection to remain in the country long enough to commit offenses.

The contrast with other asylum seekers is stark. Among applicants from all other countries of origin, 12.3% were recorded as accused in criminal proceedings—a fraction of the rate among Maghreb (North African) nationals.

“Only one fifth of this group of people did not attract criminal attention during their stay in Switzerland,” the SEM said in its internal assessment. Officials say the figures confirm a problem that police and asylum-center employees have confronted for years.

SEM chief spokesman Daniel Bach said young men from North Africa account for a disproportionate share of incidents inside federal asylum centers. “They commit most of the crimes that are attributed to asylum seekers,” he said.

The overwhelming rejection rate has made the figures particularly damaging politically. If roughly 99 percent of these applicants ultimately have no entitlement to Swiss protection, critics argue that the priority should be swift removal rather than prolonged accommodation inside an asylum system financed by working taxpayers.

“Practically no asylum seeker from these countries is entitled to the protection of Switzerland,” Bach said. “Criminals must leave Switzerland quickly. This is a priority of the asylum strategy.”

The numbers, for parties demanding tougher immigration controls, are being cited as evidence that the asylum system has become increasingly vulnerable to abuse. Their argument is that Switzerland is spending money processing, housing and policing migrants whom authorities already know are overwhelmingly unlikely to qualify as refugees.

The government attempted to tighten the system in 2024 by introducing a 24-hour procedure for applicants from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia. The accelerated process was designed to identify claims with virtually no chance of success before applicants could remain in the system for months.

Authorities say applicants have nevertheless found ways to disrupt the procedure. Some refuse to provide fingerprints, fail to attend appointments, or leave asylum facilities before their cases can be completed.

One tactic previously identified by officials involved repeatedly entering asylum centers for food and shelter while avoiding fingerprinting and therefore avoiding rapid identification and deportation proceedings. The 24-hour procedure has made such behavior harder, with authorities now able to close abandoned or obstructed claims more quickly.

Despite this, removals can still be delayed through appeals, missing documentation, and resistance from rejected applicants. That gap between a negative asylum decision and actual deportation has become one of the central targets of Switzerland’s immigration debate.

The SEM is now examining wider use of coercive measures against repeat offenders, including stricter administrative detention. Federal and cantonal authorities are coordinating efforts aimed at keeping rejected foreign offenders available for removal rather than repeatedly releasing them back into Swiss communities.

Claudio Martelli, the SEM official responsible for asylum matters, said the criminal behavior of a minority damages legitimate refugees as well as the Swiss public. “They abuse the right to asylum in Switzerland, and they damage the reputation of all people who genuinely need protection,” he said.

The agency is also considering whether obviously unfounded applicants should be prevented from entering lengthy asylum proceedings at all. Supporters of the proposal say people arriving through safe countries with virtually no realistic protection claim should be processed for departure rather than absorbed into a system designed for genuine refugees.

The political response has spread beyond the right-wing populist, national-conservative Swiss People’s Party. FDP senator Damian Müller said an 80.5% accused rate could no longer plausibly be dismissed as a handful of isolated cases.

“With an accused rate of 80.5%, nobody can speak of isolated cases anymore,” Müller said, describing the situation as “a massive security problem.” He has called for rejected applicants and foreign offenders to be removed much more rapidly.

Even Green Liberal senator Tiana Moser has also demanded stronger action, saying some Maghreb migrants appear well aware of weaknesses in the Swiss system. Police, she noted, can repeatedly arrest the same offenders only to encounter them again after their release.

The SVP has pushed the debate furthest toward remigration, arguing that applicants arriving through safe countries should be refused at the border and that rejected offenders should remain in custody until deportation wherever the law permits. Party lawmakers say Switzerland should stop functioning as a temporary base for migrants who have no protection claim and repeatedly come into contact with police.

That approach reflects the wider remigration debate now spreading across Europe. In practical terms, proponents define it as accelerating the lawful return of rejected asylum seekers, removing foreign criminals, tightening residence rules and ensuring that people with no right to remain actually leave.

Switzerland has already strengthened cooperation with North African governments. An agreement with Morocco is intended to speed up identification and documentation so that migrants ordered to leave can be repatriated without the administrative delays that have historically frustrated deportations.

The government stresses that the extraordinary Maghreb figures do not describe Switzerland’s asylum population as a whole. Bach said 96 percent of the overall asylum population in 2025 had not been accused of any criminal offense—making the concentration of accusations among North African applicants even more politically striking.

With virtually every application from Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia ending in rejection and four out of five applicants in the 2024 analysis becoming the subject of criminal accusations, pressure is growing on Swiss authorities to move from processing migration to reversing it.
