The U.S. Postal Service is pressing ahead with tougher safeguards for mail-in ballots ahead of November’s midterms, adopting new eligibility requirements modeled closely on President Donald Trump’s election integrity agenda.

Under the new policy, states seeking USPS assistance with mail-in and absentee ballots will have to notify the agency at least 60 days before the November elections if they intend to provide lists of eligible voters based on citizenship data.

This is to make sure ballots are being mailed to eligible American voters.

Postmaster General David Steiner has said the changes will ensure “the right ballots are going to the right people.”

The policy follows requirements contained in Trump’s March executive order aimed at tightening election procedures and preventing ineligible voters from participating.

However, Obama judge Indira Talwani recently blocked enforcement of Trump’s order nationwide, claiming the changes could create “confusion” and “chaos.”

The White House has refused to abandon the policy.

“We will continue lawfully enacting the agenda President Trump was elected to enact – which includes the safety and security of American elections,” White House spokesperson Lauren Bis said.

The battle comes as mail-in voting remains a massive part of American elections, allowing Democrats to implement their aggressive voter fraud schemes across multiple election cycles.

Around 30.3 percent of ballots cast in the 2024 general election were submitted by mail, according to the U.S. Election Assistance Commission.

Trump has repeatedly pushed Republicans to tighten voting laws, particularly by requiring proof that people registering to vote are actually American citizens.

He has also championed the SAVE America Act, which would require documentary proof of citizenship when registering and photo identification at the polls.

Sadly, Republicans in Congress have so far been unable to get it passed.

Back in June, Trump suffered a setback at the Supreme Court when the liberal justices and Amy Coney Barrett upheld rules allowing mail ballots arriving after Election Day to be counted when they were postmarked on time.

With the midterms approaching, the latest USPS rules will support the administration’s push to tighten safeguards surrounding America’s elections.

LEFT-WING GUARDIAN FREAKS OUT: Trump Lays the Groundwork to Secure America’s Elections — National Security Emergency May Be Coming

The radical left media and Democrat-aligned election groups are in full meltdown mode after President Trump refused to rule out emergency action to secure the 2026 midterms.

The Guardian is shrieking today that President Donald Trump is “sowing election distrust” and “laying the groundwork” to declare a national emergency ahead of the 2026 midterms.

They’re terrified. And they should be. Because for the first time in years, the American people are finally seeing the receipts.

The Trump administration is releasing government records about noncitizen voting, foreign interference, vulnerable election systems, and serious failures involving state voter rolls.

According to The Guardian, election activists fear that Trump could use the administration’s findings to declare a national-security emergency and assert greater federal authority over the November midterms.

The paper pointed to Trump’s July address on election security, the release of declassified intelligence documents, new federal findings concerning noncitizen voting, and the administration’s relentless push for voter identification and proof of citizenship.

In July, President Trump delivered a primetime address from the White House and declassified a mountain of intelligence documents revealing China had acquired as many as 220 million U.S. voter files, names, addresses, phone numbers, the works.

The White House Government Transparency Task Force laid it out clearly: the largest compromise of election data in history.

Adversaries including China, Russia, Iran and North Korea have the capability to target our election infrastructure. Non-citizen registration numbers in the hundreds of thousands were flagged by DHS analysis. Voting machine vulnerabilities were highlighted. The deep state tried to bury it for years. Trump just put it all on the table.

Former Trump strategist Steve Bannon has also predicted that the president will declare an emergency to protect the upcoming elections.

“Take your No 2 pencil out. It’s coming. It’s coming. Just block the last week of August out. It’s coming.”

Bannon also told CNN that on the night of Trump’s July address, the declassified material was “a powerful predicate” for a National Security Emergency on the midterms.

When Wayne Allyn Root, longtime Gateway Pundit contributor and one of the loudest voices demanding real election security, put the idea directly to the President on Real America’s Voice.

Trump didn’t shut it down. He didn’t dodge. He said: “Let me just say, stranger things have happened, OK? I’ll leave it at that.”

Wayne Allyn Root wrote this on The Gateway Pundit:

I interviewed . My record-setting 17th interview with the President of the United States produced a Democrat meltdown and liberal media firestorm.

For the past three days (and counting) one specific idea that I pitched to President Trump during our interview has been the #1 story on every liberal political talk show in America.

My idea to secure our elections has dominated MSNOW and CNN headlines. The left is in full- blown panic mode over the reality that President Trump might adopt my idea for…

A NATIONAL SECURITY EMERGENCY FOR ELECTIONS.

During a subsequent War Room interview, former Trump strategist Steve Bannon asked Root whether the administration’s continuing election-integrity disclosures had created sufficient justification for Trump to act.

An Ohio doctor specializing in examining the psychology of teenage killers has been murdered in a case that can be considered the ultimate irony and betrayal.

As The Daily Mail reported, 55-year-old Tamela Dutcher was shot by two men while sitting on the couch inside her Delaware County home last week. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

More from the Daily Mail:

The horror began on August 14, when a man frantically called 911 to report that his wife had been shot in the face. He could be heard on the line asking: “What the hell did you do?” according to WCMH.

Around 10 seconds later, he could be heard yelling: ‘Oh! What the hell?’ after allegedly reporting a second gunshot and seeing someone flee through the front door.

Police responded to the family’s Bean-Oller Drive home and transported Tamela to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead after being shot in the back of the neck, according to the court affidavit.

An initial investigation uncovered a second bullet lodged in the home’s wall – the exact spot where Tamela’s husband had been standing before dropping down to try to save her life.

Police later identified the two men responsible as 20-year-old Christian Evans and 21-year-old Dajameous Payne as the gunmen involved. It’s not clear who fired the fatal shot.

But there’s a shocking twist. Dutcher’s OWN TEENAGE DAUGHTER, Bryanna, was involved in the crime.

When police first interviewed the 18-year-old Bryanna Dutcher, she initially lied and denied all knowledge. Then, the true evil nature of the act became clear.

Bryanna told police that she was dating Evans and said her “racist” parents would not approve the relationship. She then tried to cover up her boyfriend’s role in the crime.

But she admitted that months earlier, her boyfriend’s friend, Payne, had threatened to kidnap her family.

Still, Bryanna ultimately sided with these cold-blooded killers in small part due to her own woke hatred of her mom, lying about her to Evans.

Evans then said Bryanna should have just killed her mom, which apparently set this murder into motion.

More from the Mail:

A chilling text exchange appeared to foreshadow the killing, with Evans allegedly telling Bryanna that ‘they need to be hidden once they both pass away’ and urging her to get a gun.

‘Alr she’s living room, he’s basement, where you’re here, lmk (let me know),’ Bryanna allegedly replied, according to the affidavit.

The documents stated that Evans told Bryanna the pair were getting ready and putting on gloves before allegedly instructing her to ‘tale (sic) them both out at the same time’ – a command she agreed to.

This has to be perfect,’ Evans allegedly wrote, to which Bryanna replied: ‘I’ll just take them down.’ ‘

The Mail notes that Bryanna was initially accused only of obstructing justice by allegedly trying to shield them from investigators. But charges were upgraded on Thursday, and all three were indicted in her mom’s killing.

In the ultimate irony, Tamela Dutcher once co-authored a paper titled “The Violent and Homicidal Adolescent: Hearts Darkened Before Time.” In the paper, Tamela and co-author Daniel Davis explored different typologies linked to “adolescent murders.”

Per the Mail, the report said that children usually do not respond to “traditional, verbally oriented psychotherapy.”

Instead, they argued that therapy should be rooted in art and creativity. Clearly, this did not work on Tamela’s daughter.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy drove social media users crazy after giving his daughter a good reason why she cannot attend arguably America’s most infamous Ivy League school.

As Fox News reported, the Department of Transportation recently released an episode of its sponsored YouTube series “The Great American Roadtrip” where Duffy and his daughter Paloma discuss where she will be attending college.

Paloma informs her dad that she would love to attend Harvard University, given the school’s legendary academic prestige and belief that she would receive the best education there.

Duffy, though, had a question for her: Would you try to convince us to let you actually attend?

“Let’s say you got into Harvard, would you be pushing us to actually have you go?” Duffy asks Paloma.

“Probably, because if I don’t get in…I won’t be upset. But if I do get in, I feel like you can’t say no,” Paloma replied.

Then Duffy delivered some bad news to her.

“Well, me and mom can say no,” Duffy stated.

Upon hearing this, Paloma was noticeably unhappy.

WATCH:

The video next cuts to Sean Duffy’s wife, Rachel Campos-Duffy, explaining the importance of Catholicism to their way of life and expressing worry that Harvard would try to poison Paloma’s mind and undermine her upbringing.

“Listen, we have thought about how we have raised you,” Duffy calmly explains to his daughter. “If I send you there, I worry they have professionalized figuring out how they can take good, young girls like you and corrupt their minds.”

Duffy went on to tell Paloma that it’s okay for her to hold different political viewpoints from his, but he wanted her to discover them on her own. Harvard would simply try to brainwash her into radical-left thinking.

Paloma gently pushed back, saying that attending Harvard could provide her with a well-rounded education, given that she had already attended a conservative high school. But her dad had a quick comeback.

“But they are so good at it. You’ll see people go to a conservative school and have a conservative family, and they get converted and contorted,” Duffy said.

The Internet was noticeably split over Duffy’s stance. Those of the left slammed him for being dumb and being a so-called ‘Christian nationalist,’ while the right hailed him as a wonderful father.

It was later reported that Paloma indeed took her dad’s words to heart and passed on attending Harvard.

Instead, she will attend the University of Chicago, her older sister Evita’s alma mater.

Virginia Democrat Governor Abigail Spanberger; Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) Commissioner Daryl Washington

The Gateway Pundit reported on the shocking system failure after accused killer Abdulloi Toshpulodzoda was given an unsupervised 48-hour weekend pass, DESPITE a court order that he “shall not be released from custody and inpatient hospitalization without further order of this court.”

In 2019, Toshpulodzoda stabbed his roommate and landlord, Mohammed Hemmatian, to death in their Vienna, Virginia home, according to FOX 5 DC. Investigators found him “covered in blood from head to toe.” He told police, “I am guilty.”

Although he confessed, he was found not guilty by reason of insanity in 2022.

A Fairfax County Circuit Court Judge ruled twice that Toshpulodzoda remained mentally ill and in need of inpatient hospitalization and should not be released from custody without a further court order.

Despite the ruling, Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano’s office gave approval for Toshpulodzoda to travel to Washington, D.C., and get a passport at his home country’s embassy.

The Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute authorized the “unaccompanied community” visit, and on July 6, 2026, they let him walk out on a 48-hour pass.

After the pass expired, Toshpulodzoda failed to return to the facility, and he was classified as an escapee. His pass was revoked, and he was issued a facility warrant. Although state and federal authorities were notified, and a bench warrant was later issued, it was too late; he was gone.

Toshpulodzoda passed through Washington Dulles International Airport and boarded a one-way Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul, and continued on to Dushanbe, Tajikistan. He never returned.

When asked by Fox News Digital if the shocking system failure should be investigated by federal authorities, Rep. Donald Beyer (D-VA) noted,  “I don’t know about an investigation, but certainly it’s a bad thing that he’s not in our custody, not being subject to the laws of the United States.”

Per Fox News:

“There’s a failure in the system somewhere along the way. I don’t know whether it’s failure to put [Toshpulodzoda] in the mental hospital or the hospital didn’t have the right security to keep them there. But no, we don’t want bad guys on the loose,” Beyer said. His district includes Alexandria, Arlington and part of Fairfax County, including the Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute, where Toshpulodzoda was housed.

Beyer pushed back on criticism of Fairfax County, saying he does not believe local leaders would consider it a “sanctuary” jurisdiction for illegal immigrants. He also said he presumed Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano was justified in having Toshpulodzoda committed to the psychiatric facility.

Beyer also pushed back on arguments that Toshpulodzoda should have been deported rather than committed to a psychiatric facility, saying someone who commits a serious crime should face consequences in the U.S. before being sent home.

Deportation doesn’t seem sufficient punishment for someone whose [committed] a major felony,” Beyer said.

Fauci’s Lawyers Launch Legal Defense Fund as Investigations Against Him Intensify, Attorney General Blanche Calls Senate Findings ‘Extraordinarily Troubling’

Lawyers representing Dr. Anthony Fauci have launched a formal legal defense fund amid a growing number of federal and state investigations into his role in the COVID-19 pandemic response.

The fundraiser has been launched on its own website, FauciLegalDefense.com.

The fund, managed by an independent trustee, is designed to cover the costs of legal representation, document production, and responses to subpoenas across multiple jurisdictions, according to the former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director’s counsel.

Attorney General Todd Blanche has said the Department of Justice will continue investigating information uncovered by the Senate, describing it as “extraordinarily troubling,” and noted that it has received a referral while declining to discuss ongoing matters in detail.

Senator Rand Paul has repeatedly called on the Justice Department to take action after Fauci repeatedly invoked the Fifth Amendment during congressional testimony.

State-level investigations into his potential crimes in Florida, West Virginia, Louisiana, and elsewhere focus on issues ranging from pandemic guidance and potential personal financial benefits to the virus’s origins and federal research funding.

A preemptive pardon issued by former President Joe Biden’s autopen covers certain federal matters but does not extend to state investigations or all potential charges.

Fauci’s attorneys have claimed the investigations are “unfounded” and insist he has done nothing wrong.

“Dr. Fauci is facing an unprecedented legal barrage for a retired civil servant, and he deserves a robust defense against these unfounded and frivolous actions,” David Schertler, Fauci’s lawyer, said in a statement to Reuters. “Dr. Fauci has not done anything wrong, and we are prepared to fight back against this shameful harassment of an honorable man who dedicated his career to saving lives.”

On Tuesday, as The Gateway Pundit previously reported, David Morens, the longtime senior adviser to Dr. Fauci at the NIAID, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit offenses and to defraud the United States.

The charges stem from Morens’ role in a scheme to evade Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests during the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the Department of Justice, Morens and his co-conspirators used his personal Gmail account to hide communications about restoring NIH funding to EcoHealth Alliance’s controversial bat  grant, the same grant tied to the Wuhan Institute of Virology that was terminated over lab-leak concerns.

Additionally, Morens co-authored papers that dismissed the lab-leak theory as “thoroughly discredited” and promoted the natural-origin narrative while protecting EcoHealth Alliance and its Chinese partners.

According to the DOJ announcement of the guilty plea:

“Morens is facing up to five years in prison for conspiracy to commit offenses and to defraud the United States. Actual sentences for federal crimes are typically less than the maximum penalties. A federal district judge determines sentencing after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.”

As The Gateway Pundit has previously reported, Morens worked to undermine Trump’s 2020 ban on gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche called it “a profound abuse of trust” at the height of the pandemic.

The original April indictment charged him with five counts, including conspiracy against the United States, destruction or falsification of records in federal investigations, and concealment or mutilation of records.

The taxpayer watchdog group White Coat Waste Project (WCW), which first exposed NIH’s gain-of-function funding in Wuhan and the infamous “Beaglegate” dog experiments, previously warned that Morens was not acting alone.

White Coat Waste Demands MORE Arrests and Fauci Pardon be Overturned After Trump DOJ Indicts His Top Advisor for COVID Cover-Up, ‘NOT A LONE WOLF!’

Responding to news of the guilty plea, the founder of White Coat Waste, Anthony Bellotti, told The Gateway Pundit:

"In April 2020, White Coat Waste was the very first to expose Fauci’s funding for gain-of-function animal experiments at the Wuhan lab — and ever since we’ve led the campaign to hold Fauci and his cronies accountable for abusing animals and their COVID cover-up. David Morens deserves the maximum penalty for conspiring to defraud taxpayers and for hiding what really happened in Wuhan."
