A child died, and a mother was hospitalized after a domestic incident inside a home in southwest suburban Frankfort, Illinois, on Tuesday.
Frankfort police said officers were called to a home in the 22700 block of Brook Stone Court around 4 p.m. for a report of an unresponsive child.
Police said officers found the unresponsive 2-year-old, who was undergoing CPR, and then taken to a local hospital. The child was later pronounced dead.
Officers also found the child’s mother at the home, and police said she was attempting to self-harm. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown at this time.
Clancy copycat?
Lindsay Clancy is currently on trial after she strangled her three children to death in January 2023.
The young children, Cora (5), Callan (8 months), and Dawson (3), were found dead in the Clancy, Massachusetts, home’s basement.
Scores of women online are showing their solidarity with Clancy, so there are fears of copycat murders.
The jury, which is comprised of 9 women and 3 women is currently deadlocked.
By noon ET, the demand for the 250,000 available coins was so high that buyers were placed in virtual queues for more than an hour.
The website notes, “Due to extraordinarily high traffic, we are using a virtual waiting room,” and advises visitors they have 10 minutes to complete a purchase once admitted.

On one side, the coin features a portrait of President Trump by Chief Engraver Joseph Menna, with “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “1776 ~ 2026.”
The other side features the Presidential Seal with “250” on the shield, plus “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “ONE DOLLAR.”
While the new coins may be used as legal tender, they are also pitched as collectibles.
The U.S. Mint said, “Created to celebrate this historic national milestone, these special circulating dollar coins combine everyday American coinage with a once-in-a-generation anniversary design destined to become a standout addition to modern collections.”
Although living presidents almost never appear on U.S. coins, with critics arguing an 1866 law generally bars portraits of living people on currency, the Treasury has said the 2020 law authorizing 2026 $1 coins “emblematic of the Semiquincentennial” allows it.
The coin was greenlighted in March after controversy arose stemming from a federal law that previously prohibited living people from being depicted on U.S. currency. But a law Trump signed during his first term — called the Circulating Collectible Coin Redesign Act of 2020 — included new language regarding the semiquincentennial commemoration coins.
The Trump administration also told Newsweek it does not need congressional approval for the coin — citing a history of coins with the likeness of the sitting president such as a 150th anniversary coin with former President Calvin Coolidge as one example in a legal filing.
Ex-FDA Commissioner Privately Told CIA That Up to 25% of Americans Had Already Achieved Natural Immunity Through Exposure to COVID by May 2020, Unclassified Document Reveals

Newly released documents are raising explosive questions about what pharmaceutical insiders and America’s intelligence community knew about COVID-19 immunity during the earliest months of the pandemic and why Americans were hearing a dramatically different story in public.
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) released records detailing a May 7, 2020, CIA briefing involving Dr. Scott Gottlieb, the former FDA commissioner who had joined Pfizer’s board of directors the previous year.
“I released documents showing Pfizer and the CIA privately acknowledged high population immunity as early as May 2020, while the public heard a different story. Americans deserve the truth.”
He pointed to reporting at Brownstone Institute on a newly unclassified CIA meeting summary buried in the latest tranche of records Paul entered into the congressional record.
The date on the briefing is May 7, 2020.
That is two months after the country was shut down. Churches closed. Small businesses crushed. Kids locked out of school. Fauci and Deborah Birx still talking as if this was a rare, novel threat that required indefinite emergency rule until a pharmaceutical product arrived.
Inside the CIA, they were already talking seroprevalence. Seroprevalence is the percentage or proportion of people in a specific population who have antibodies against a specific disease or infectious agent in their blood serum.
According to the agency’s own write-up of the meeting, CIA Chief Operating Officer Andy Makridis sat down with Dr. Scott Gottlieb. Gottlieb was not some outside critic. He was a former FDA commissioner, a sitting Pfizer board member, and a member of the CIA’s External Advisory Board. One man. Three hats. Vaccine company. Spy agency. Former regulator.
The CIA summary records Gottlieb’s assessment on herd immunity:
On “herd immunity” Dr. Gottlieb discounts the 2 major studies from Los Angeles and Santa Clara counties showing high seroprevalence. He believes nationally, the seroprevalence is about 20-25% which is insufficient for herd immunity at the R₀ (BRR) value of 3.
In other words, Gottlieb was telling CIA officials in May 2020 that as many as one in four Americans had already achieved natural immunity.
But the public did hear a different story.
During an August 16, 2020, appearance on CBS’s Face the Nation, Gottlieb claimed that only about 8% of the country had been exposed and declared that America was “probably a long way” from herd immunity.
That public estimate came more than three months after the CIA briefing and was dramatically lower than the 20% to 25% figure attributed to Gottlieb in the agency’s internal summary.
Brownstone Institute founder Jeffrey Tucker, who first highlighted the passage, noted that Gottlieb was simultaneously connected to Pfizer and the CIA while serving as one of the country’s most influential public voices on the pandemic.
Pfizer officially elected Gottlieb to its board in June 2019, less than one year before the CIA briefing.
Tucker argued that the document raises serious questions about whether officials believed population immunity was accumulating much faster than they publicly acknowledged.
In August 2021, The Gateway Pundit reported that a new study out of Israel has seemingly confirmed that individuals who have natural immunity have better protection against the new COVID variant than people who are fully vaccinated.
Not just a little bit better either. People who have taken both doses of the Pfizer jab are 13 TIMES more likely to have a breakthrough infection, and are even at a “greater risk for Covid-19 hospitalizations.”
The researchers conducted an extensive study on 800,000 individuals that were broken into 3 groups. People who had received either one or two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine were compared with unvaccinated individuals who have natural immunity, because they had already recovered from the virus.
In October 2021, alarming data released by a government-funded project showed that the effectiveness of both the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA COVID-19 vaccines significantly waned over time. The effects lessen in any fully vaccinated individuals with each passing week.
An AI program launched by the Dept. of Defense’s Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC) called “Project Salus” has examined data on 5.6 million Medicare beneficiaries aged 65 and older, 2.7M were vaccinated with Pfizer, and 2.9M with Moderna. The data was posted on October 5th on the Humetrix website, a platform that provides healthcare organizations and government agencies with real-time clinical data management.
This new finding revealed that the majority of those 5.6 million Medicare beneficiaries aged 65+ who are fully vaccinated were infected by COVID-19. This means that transmission may be primarily occurring by vaccinated individuals.
Two studies from Israel and Qatar that were published in the New England Journal of Medicine supported this claim that the effectiveness of the vaccine decreases over time despite the individuals being fully vaccinated.
According to the article, the Brownstone Institute for Social and Economic Research published a list of 91 different clinical research studies which each conclude that naturally acquired immunity is at the very least equal to, but in many cases vastly superior, to the experimental mRNA vaccines that are currently available.
Most notably, of the almost 1,400 “previously infected subjects” who had never received a Covid-19 vaccine, not a single one was reinfected with the virus. The data was so clear that researchers concluded vaccination is “unlikely to benefit” individuals with natural immunity. Read the rest here.
The researchers evaluated the data from 1.1 million Covid-19 cases among adults in California and New York (which account for 18% of the U.S. population) from May 30 to Nov. 20, 2021.
Then, in May 2022, a new study conducted by scientists from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Moderna Inc. showed that mRNA vaccines hurt the long-term immunity to Covid-19 after contracting infection compared to unvaccinated people.
One Injured in Shooting at Virginia Elementary School

One person was injured in a shooting at an elementary school on Wednesday morning.
Police swarmed Westwood Hills Elementary School in Waynesboro after reports of an active shooter.
Later Wednesday morning, police said the situation was ‘contained.’
No other details about the shooting were immediately known.
All students and staff are safe, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Barber said.
Far-left Governor Abigail Spanberger said she is ‘monitoring’ the situation.
“I am monitoring the emergency at Westwood Hills Elementary School this morning. My heart is with these young students, their parents and families, and the teachers and staff at the school. Thank you to the first responders who are assisting at the scene,” Spanberger said.
“Augusta County and Waynesboro law enforcement and schools are continuing to provide updated guidance to community members,” she added.

A reported shooting at Westwood Hills Elementary School in Waynesboro, Virginia, has been “contained,” according to the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office.
“All Westwood students, teachers, and staff are accounted for and are safe,” Waynesboro Public Schools posted on social media, adding that the school was reuniting students and families at a designated location.
“As a precautionary measure, all other Waynesboro Public Schools have been placed on lockdown,” the post continued. “More information will be released when it becomes available. All schools are secure and safe at this time. Parents and guardians, please do not call 911 for additional information. We will relay it as soon as possible.”
He will sit with Lester Holt and appear on “Today.” That is a media tour, not a comeback.
Kaepernick still says the NFL is “actively blackballing” him. He says he has not watched a league game since he left. He works out at 4:30 a.m. as if a roster spot were waiting.
Roger Goodell has said for years he does not believe Kaepernick was blackballed and that clubs make their own calls.
Here is the part the myth skips.
Kaepernick was a streaky, below-average quarterback by the time the anthem fight swallowed the story. He last played in 2016.
The league tried to put him in front of all 32 teams in 2019. He walked away from that workout the morning it was scheduled, citing a waiver.
Then he staged his own session. Teams treated it like what it looked like: a man who wanted the narrative more than the job.
That is not a secret handshake among owners. That is a player with rust, a circus, and no recent tape refusing the one clean look the league offered.
Football teams exist to win on Sunday. A backup who arrives with cameras, lawsuits, and a lecture is not a bargain. He is a week of practice lost.
Kaepernick told NBC he does not want black kids to think “if you fight for black folks, it’s over for you.” Fair enough as a personal worry. It is not an explanation for why no general manager has used a roster spot on him for 10 seasons.
He chose the posture. He chose the interviews. He chose to skip the 2019 tryout. He chose a memoir-and-manifesto over another offseason in someone’s quarterback room.
None of that makes him a victim. It makes him a brand.
Americans can argue about police and protest without pretending a fading dual-threat quarterback was Tom Brady with a conscience. He was not.
The book will find its buyers.
The victim act will find its clips.
What it will not find is an NFL team willing to blow up a locker room so Colin Kaepernick can keep saying the league is the reason he does not play.

A New York man received the literal shock of his life last week after being struck from the heavens and is living to tell about it.
As The New York Post reported, Thomas Fahmy, a congressional staffer for Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), was walking casually to the dentist on Staten Island when a sudden bolt of lightning emerged from out of nowhere and hit him.
Fahmy collapsed to the ground in agony from the jolt. He was just feet away from his vehicle when the harrowing incident occurred.
Unbelievably, he rose to his feet and slowly walked away. He ended up taking shelter inside a resident’s home.
Footage of the incident, which occurred on August 27, was captured on camera and shared with multiple outlets, including NBC.

Stefanie Homan, the neighbor who kindly offered Fahmy shelter, shared more about her role.
“I heard yelling, heard ‘help me, help me,’ so I ran to my door and saw him down here on the ground, so I got the phone and called 911,” she told WNBC.
Fahmy spoke out about the incident in an interview with NBC Nightly News.
“The first thing I saw was just a white flash,” he explained. “It felt like I was walking on balloons, really in pain.”
“I felt a tingly feeling, it was a sensation I had never felt in my life,” Fahmy added.
Fahmy was rushed to Northwell Staten Island University Hospital for minor injuries and remained there overnight for evaluation. But others have been far less lucky.
NBC News notes that 13 people have been killed so far this year. This includes a Utah father who was jet skiing in Florida.
Fahmy told NBC News he is perfectly aware of how fortunate he was to escape death and how precious life on Earth truly is.
“It reminded me that life can go (snaps fingers) in a flash,” he stated.
He later told WABC that he went to church on Sunday to say ‘thank you, God.’
Malliotakis praised Fahmy and thanked the neighbor and the medical staff in a Facebook statement.
“We are happy, grateful, and relieved that Thomas, a valued member of our Staten Island office, is alive and well after being struck by lightning last week,” she wrote. “We appreciate the good Samaritan and medical staff at Staten Island University Hospital who helped him get emergency care.”
