A young woman was shot in the face in a North Carolina parking lot by a career felon who committed three different shootings in one day.

Izzy Dolan, 24, was pushed to the ground and shot in the face in a Food Lion parking lot in Fayetteville by 52-year-old Robert Page on Sunday morning.

Page, a career felon, committed three shootings and two carjackings on that Sunday morning.

Two of the shootings happened within minutes of each other.

Police also found a woman shot in a Hardee’s fast food parking lot.

Dolan was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. She will need reconstructive surgery on her face.

WRAL reported:

A Fayetteville man was arrested after police say he was involved with three shootings and two carjackings Sunday morning in Fayetteville. The Fayetteville Police Department and Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office are investigating these incidents.

Fayetteville police identified the suspect as Robert Page, 52 of Fayetteville.

Page is currently being held in the Cumberland County detention center without bond. He is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on Monday at 2:30 p.m.

Page is being charged with the following.

• Two counts of Attempted First Degree Murder
• Two counts of Discharging a Weapon into Occupied Property
• Two counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury
• Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon
• Attempted Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon
• Possession of Stolen Goods/Property
• Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon

Mamdani thanked them by filing a lawsuit to stop a pay raise for education paraprofessionals.

In July, the New York City Council passed the “RESPECT Check Act,” giving public-school paraprofessionals, like teacher aides, a one-time $10,000 “workforce stabilization” payment.

The Act was passed by the Council unanimously and became law without the mayor’s signature.

Although Mamdani supported a version of the bill in the past, now that he is comfortable in the Mayor’s seat, he has changed his mind.

He argued that the Act violates New York State’s Taylor Law and ultimately filed a lawsuit against the city.

In response, the UFT filed a motion to intervene last week, preparing to take the issue to court if Mamdani continues to fight the measure.

“We knew this lawsuit was a possibility, and we were prepared,” UFT President Michael Mulgrew told Fox News Digital in a statement. “The RESPECT check law, which was unanimously passed by City Council on July 16, was carefully drafted to make sure that it did not violate the state’s Taylor Law, which governs collective bargaining.”

He added, “The City Council would not have introduced — let alone passed — this bill if it were illegal, and we would not have supported a bill that threatened our collective bargaining rights. This moment is an opportunity for Mayor Mamdani to create a new, fairer system and build the kind of city he said he wanted to lead. This administration must keep its promises, and we won’t stop until it does.”

The birth rate in Greenland, then the highest in the world, collapsed from the 1970’s onward.

“The Social Democrats of Siumut and the nationalists of Naleraq demand that Denmark be brought before an international court. For her part, the Minister of Health, Mariane Paviasen, said that she could not ‘affirm, on behalf of the government, that there was genocide’ and that the debate should continue.

The Greenlandic government, on the other hand, is proposing to set up a reconciliation commission. Not to ‘assign responsibility’, but to ‘shed light on the truth from a perspective of reconciliation’, explained Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen.”

Denmark’s Parliament overwhelmingly approved compensation for Greenlandic women and girls who had IUDs inserted without their consent or without adequate informed consent.

But with the upcoming winter, there’s widespread fear that the situation will become much worse, as the Russian forces are preparing for a ‘significant offensive against Ukrainian energy infrastructure’.

This has been announced today by the Russian defense ministry.

Earlier this month, Ukrainian Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal told POLITICO that ‘Putin wants to finish off (Ukraine’s) energy system’ and that Kyiv would work on strengthening its energy and infrastructure resilience to avoid a repeat of last winter’s freezing blackouts.”

Euronews reported:

“The warning revives fears of a repeat of last winter, when Moscow’s bombardment of Ukrainian power plants devastated the country’s grid and left millions without heat or electricity in sub-zero temperatures.

[…] Overall, Russia launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 130 drones of various types between late Saturday and early Sunday, the Ukrainian air force said.”
