Bezos-Owned Washington Post Publishes CLASSIFIED Pentagon Orders Book During Active Combat With Iran — Pentagon Calls It a Crime and a “Betrayal of the Force”
August 31, 2026

The far-left Washington Post just did what the legacy media always does when American troops are in harm’s way and a Republican is running the Pentagon.

They published material from a classified Secretary of Defense Orders Book, the document that maps warships, aircraft, weapons systems, and personnel worldwide, and dressed it up as a hit piece on Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

The Washington Post reported Sunday that several senior military leaders warned War Secretary Pete Hegseth that maintaining a force of more than 50,000 American troops in the Middle East is unsustainable and could weaken the United States’ ability to respond to threats elsewhere.

The newspaper acknowledged that its reporting was based on information contained in the classified Aug. 14 edition of the Secretary of Defense Orders Book, or SDOB.

The classified orders book reportedly details the worldwide availability and allocation of American warships, aircraft, weapons systems, and military personnel. It also contains sensitive assessments submitted by America’s senior commanders.

According to the Post, some troops deployed to the Middle East were ordered to remain through September, while others could remain into 2027.

Four senior commanders reportedly submitted formal “non-concurs” expressing disagreement with the proposed extensions:

  • Adm. Daryl Caudle, Chief of Naval Operations
  • Gen. Alexus Grynkewich, Commander of U.S. European Command
  • Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Commander of U.S. Southern Command
  • Adm. Samuel Paparo, Commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command

A “non-concur” does not mean that a commander is refusing to follow an order. It records a commander’s professional disagreement while acknowledging that the order will still be executed.

Washington Post military affairs reporter Dan Lamothe eagerly amplified the purported contents of the classified document.

“Four-stars all non-concurring with prolonging operations against Iran as they are into 2027, per this Washington Post exclusive,” Lamothe wrote, before listing the four commanders.

But DataRepublican, whose real name is Jennica Pounds and who began serving as a Special Government Employee at the Department of War in July, fired back with a brutal response.

DataRepublican argued that the commanders’ assessments were not the most alarming part of the story. The real scandal, she said, was that someone apparently handed information from one of the Pentagon’s most sensitive force-allocation documents to the Washington Post.

DataRepublican wrote:

“Hello Mr. Lamothe,

Four generals’ analysis is not the important point here. The article says that the information comes from Aug. 14 Secretary of Defense Orders Book (SDOB).

As that article explains, the SDOB is classified and lays out the worldwide availability of warships, aircrafts, weapons systems, personnel, along with assessments from senior commanders. That includes which leaders “non-concurred” which you are amplifying.

This is one of the most serious leaks I have ever seen, and you are using this to score partisan points against Hegseth.

You and your miltwitter journalist sphere spent a whole week hammering a DOGE-affiliated analyst for refusing to leak sensitive documents, accusing her of violating “ethics.”

Perhaps the ethics were just arbitrary conveniences all along. Perhaps the professional code exists to protect the true raison d’etre that you and the rest of legacy Pentagon press corps exist by:

By your twisted morality, it’s fine to handle materials that might very well undermine an active war and publish whatever you’d like from them in order to score political points against Pete Hegseth. Just as long as you “disclose,” that makes it fine for WaPo to protect traitors running in our midst.

And in your personal case, “disclosing” apparently doesn’t extend to fellowships at CNAS and other engagement heavily funded by the military-industrial complex.

The United States is engaged in active combat operations. WaPo holds material that may very well undermine the safety of Americans in harms way. WaPo took routine discussion of a serious internal force-allocation problem, and elevated that into cheap partisan shots.

The one without ethics here is the entire staff of the Washington Post who did not immediately turn in this traitor as soon as they received the material.”

Sean Parnell, Assistant to the Secretary of War for Public Affairs, also hammered Lamothe and the Washington Post.

Parnell wrote:

“Publishing highly classified assessments from the Secretary’s orders book is a crime.

It’s a betrayal of the force. And much of what they’re publishing is inaccurate.

Of course, we demand candid military advice. Non-concurs are standard. The Secretary sees them constantly. That’s how you run a real military.

We are in great shape around the world. This story isn’t about readiness.

It’s TDS and PDS — they hate President Trump and Secretary Hegseth more than they love America.”

Lamothe responded by wrapping himself in the banner of “independent journalism.”

“Fact check: Independent journalism is not a crime,” Lamothe wrote. “It’s also especially important at a time when government officials are withholding key details and concerns about a war being fought on behalf of the American people with their taxpayer dollars.”

The Washington Post also defended its actions.

“We’re confident in our reporting, our sourcing and the constitutional protections that guarantee the rights of news organizations to publish information in the public interest that holds officials accountable,” Washington Post spokesperson Olivia Petersen said in a statement.

“The assertion that such publication is a crime is both incorrect and irresponsible.”

They always say “public interest” when the target is Trump or Hegseth. They never say “public interest” when the leak would embarrass a Democrat administration or expose how Biden’s team hid Abbey Gate documents in safes.

But the Post’s statement conveniently sidestepped the most important question: Who had access to the classified Secretary of Defense Orders Book, and who handed its contents to the newspaper?

The legal protections claimed by the Post do not automatically shield the government employee or military official who allegedly provided the classified information. That person could face serious criminal exposure if an investigation determines the disclosure was unauthorized.

Louisiana Senator John Kennedy says Senate Republicans have no money budgeted to defend Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in his Senate race and is looking to President Trump for help.

“We in the Senate don’t have the money budgeted for Texas,” Kennedy said in an interview with Fox News on Sunday.

”We need help from the President. The President says he has $850 million in his campaign accounts. That’s a lot of jack.”

Watch the clip below:

Paxton defeated four-term RINO Sen. John Cornyn in the May Republican runoff after receiving Trump’s endorsement yet the staunch opposition of the RINO establishment.

He will face off against Democratic state Rep. James Talarico in November.

Talarico, a far-left Democrat and Presbyterian seminarian, has previously said “God is non-binary,” argued that “the Bible is silent on abortion,” and described ICE as a “secret police force.”

The Democrat also holds a substantial fundraising advantage.

Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings through June 30 showed Paxton’s principal campaign committee with approximately $1.8 million in cash on hand, compared with roughly $21.5 million for Talarico.

Tracking data cited by CNN showed Democrats outspending Republicans approximately $31.5 million to $4.7 million on advertising since June.

Talarico’s campaign is responsible for the majority of that Democratic spending.

Meanwhile, Paxton’s campaign had spent just over $150,000 during the same period.

The disparity follows an incredibly expensive Republican primary against Cornyn.

More than $120 million was reportedly spent on Republican advertising across both rounds, including significant spending by Cornyn-aligned groups against Paxton.

Meanwhile, the Senate Leadership Fund, which is aligned with Republican Senate leadership, had no independent-expenditure advertising planned in Texas earlier this summer.

Trump-aligned MAGA Inc. has reportedly accumulated a war chest exceeding $400 million but has yet to launch a major advertising campaign in the state.

Trump traveled to Houston on this week for an RNC fundraiser aimed at helping Paxton build up a war chest.

“We’re trying to get help from all over the country,” Paxton told Fox News.

An Emerson College poll recently showed Paxton leading by one point. The Cook Political Report currently rates the contest a toss-up.

Report: Attorney General Todd Blanche Secured Dominion Voting Machines from 2020 Election that Allegedly Showed Proof of Foreign Involvement

Report: Attorney General Todd Blanche Secured Dominion Voting Machines from 2020 Election that Allegedly Showed Proof of Foreign Involvement
August 31, 2026

A major lawsuit was submitted by Fulton County, Pennsylvania officials against Dominion Voting Systems in September 2022.

The lawsuit focused on violations of their contract, certification issues, connectivity issues, and the alleged presence of foreign databases and scripts on the systems. Some of the claims are on par with the “debunked” rumors associated with the “most secure election ever” claims, including internet connectivity, outdated security protections, remote accessibility, and random USBs inserted.

From the lawsuit:

46. On or after November 2020, Fulton County became aware of severe
anomalies in the Dominion Voting Systems due to the inaccuracy and/or inability
to reconcile voter data with votes actually cast and counted, i.e., tabulated, by the
System in Fulton County

47. On or after November 2020, Fulton County became aware of certain
factors and aspects of the Dominion Voting Systems that did not meet the
“conditions” for certification set forth in the January 2019 / February 2019
certification report

49. In addition, Fulton County was informed of additional anomalies and
problems in Dominion’s “voting” systems via an expert report written by J. Alex
Halderman in July 2021. (EXHIBIT C, the Halderman Declaration, September
21, 2021).

50. In his declaration, Halderman described numerous security
vulnerabilities in Dominion’s ICX software, including flaws that would allow
attackers to install malicious software on the ICX, either with temporary or
physical access (such as that of voters in polling places) or remotely from election
management systems. EXHIBIT C

52. At the time of that report, the author described that these
vulnerabilities still existed, and could be mitigated, but that such mitigation would
“take months for Dominion to assess the problems, develop responsive software
updates, test them, obtain any necessary approvals from the EAC and state-level
certification authorities, and distribute the new software….”

69. The September Report showed that external USB hard drives had been
inserted in the machines on several occasions, and that there is no known list of
approved external drives that could have been or were used or inserted into the
machines. In this regard, the report concluded that there was no
way to determine whether and to what extent these unauthorized drives
compromised the data or the system.

70. The September Report further concluded that there had been
“substantial changes” to the drives as seen with the inclusion of over 900 .dll files
and links created since the date of installation of the Dominion software and these
pathways constituted a security breach due to the introduction of an unauthorized
“script” into the Dominion voting systems used in Fulton County…

73. The September Report further determined that “[a]n external IP
address that is associated with Canada is found on the Adjudication01
[workstation]” and “[t]his shows that at least one of the network devices has
connected to an external device on an external network” and that this was the
same device that the post-certification python script was found on. Id., ¶ 7.
Among other findings, this constituted a direct violation of and failure of the
conditions required for certification in the Dominion Certification Report, see
EXHIBIT B, pp. 40-50, ¶ C.

74. The log files for the Adjudication device showed an IP address of
172.102.16.22, which derives from a location in Quebec, Canada and that this
revealed a serious issue to be connected remotely to a Canadian system

75. The machines and devices only had Windows Defender dating to July
2016 and that no other updates had been made. The report concluded
that “viruses or malicious software” created after that date would not be combated
by the systems without proper updates.

Earlier in the year in 2022, Democrats argued that voting machines are too fragile to be inspected and that if investigators touched them, they would need to be replaced. That was their defense of the voting machines.

U.S. District Judge Sylvia H. Rambo, a Jimmy Carter appointee, dismissed key claims of the case in September 2023 (some with prejudice), finding that the alleged inability to use the machines for future elections stemmed from the county’s own inspections rather than Dominion’s actions. She died a year later.
An amended complaint filed in October 2023 was dismissed with prejudice on August 22, 2024. The court held that the Board and the two commissioners lacked standing because they were not parties to the 2019 contract (which was between the County of Fulton itself and Dominion).
Recently, Attorney Peter Ticktin gave The Gateway Pundit an update on the Fulton County case.

Peter told The Gateway Pundit, “I am learning to respect and appreciate Todd Blanche. I never had a personal problem with him. I just wanted to see things get done. I am happy to report that Attorney General Blanche now has his feet on the ground, and they seem to be running.”

Ticktin added, “I believe that he is getting the fact that our whole nation is at risk due to the election rigging which occurred in 2020 and is still occurring.”

Attorney Ticktin then updated us on the Fulton County, Pennsylvania case,

“In this regard, the County Commissioners of Fulton County, Pennsylvania, sued Dominion Machines on the basis of a fraudulent inducement to sell its machines for the election fraud after the 2020 Election was over. The Dominion Machines showed an extra unauthorized machine was used and that the machines were accessed by a foreign power…

…In any event, the County Commissioners changed, and the new Commission was less intent on going after Dominion. The case ended and the judge was going to have the machines turned over to Dominion.”

Peter Ticktin also shared this with TGP:

“I alerted Todd Blanche, and he stepped in to make sure that the machines that prove foreign involvement are secured. This is the kind of quick action we need.

Of course, there are many other issues that need to be addressed, such as bringing (Colorado Secretary of State) Jena Griswold to justice, and going after AUSAs (Assistant US Attorneys), judges, police, and others who were fighting to harm Donald Trump’s success in fighting the true insurrectionists.”

Of course, at this point, we are all leery of any reports of new or ongoing investigations from the controversial 2020 election.  But we continue to hope and pray the truth will finally be revealed to the American public.

We shall see.

The Piracy in the Horn of Africa and Gulf of Aden is starting to see some pushback.

After a 10-day military battle, forces from Turkey’s navy and the Somali army have freed a hijacked vessel, killing 14 pirates.

Deutsche Welle reported:

“’During the 10-day operation, four boats used by the pirates were destroyed and 14 pirates were killed’, said a Somali Defense Ministry statement. ‘The sustained military pressure finally forced the remaining pirates to abandon the ship’.

The MV LUTUF, a Cameroon-flagged vessel, was hijacked on August 17 off the coast of the Nugaal region of Puntland state. The joint Turkey-Somalia operation was carried out as part of a defense cooperation agreement between the two countries.”

“The ministry did not provide details about any casualties or the well-being of the crew aboard the vessel but said, ‘The forces subsequently secured the MV LATUF, which has now safely resumed its journey’.”

At least eight crew members were reportedly on board, including one Turkish national.

Maritime Executive reported:

“In a statement from Turkey’s Ministry of Defense, they confirmed that the ship had been transporting supplies to the TURKSOM Military Base in Somalia when it was targeted by pirates.

[…] There had been reports from Somalia of several earlier skirmishes with the pirates. The media said between four and six pirates were killed when they left the cargo ship in a small boat to resupply. The cargo ship was reportedly then placed in a full lockdown by the pirates. The crew of the Lutuf consisted of 10 members: six Indian nationals, one Turkish national, one Georgian, and two Serbian security guards.

[…] Somali pirates are thought to be still holding four more ships that have been seized since April. Countries including Egypt and Pakistan have been pressuring for a diplomatic solution to release their citizens who are among the kidnapped crewmembers. Pakistani officials had said that because the ships are tankers, it would be too dangerous to attempt to retake the vessels by force.”

OMG! Obama Judge Rules Possession of AI-Generated Child Pornography Is Legal

OMG! Obama Judge Rules Possession of AI-Generated Child Pornography Is Legal
August 31, 2026

A federal appeals court has ruled that the private possession of AI-generated child pornography is protected by the First Amendment, so long as no real child was involved in creating the images.

The Seventh Circuit upheld the dismissal of a possession charge against Wisconsin resident Steven Anderegg.

According to investigators, Anderegg had hundreds of AI-generated sexually explicit images depicting children on his personal devices.

Anderegg still faces three other charges related to allegedly producing and distributing the material and transferring it to a minor under 16.

The Justice Department appealed the dismissal, arguing that the government should be permitted to prohibit possession of all obscene virtual child sexual abuse material.

However, the appeals court said it was bound by the Supreme Court’s 2002 decision in Ashcroft v. Free Speech Coalition.

That ruling struck down restrictions covering sexually explicit depictions of fictional children when no actual minors were exploited in their production.

Two judges nevertheless expressed serious concerns about applying the nearly 25-year-old precedent to modern artificial intelligence.

“Indeed, in Free Speech Coalition, the Supreme Court addressed the scope of First Amendment protections for virtual CSAM [child sexual abuse material], but that was nearly twenty five years ago, and the image generation technology available today was likely unimaginable back then,” Judge John Lee wrote.

“Given the relentless advancement in artificial intelligence models, we have some concerns about the lines these cases draw, but we are not free to redraw them ourselves.”

The result is a disturbing legal distinction.

Possession of child sexual abuse material involving real children can be criminalized because actual victims were exploited.

But entirely artificial depictions will receive constitutional protection when privately possessed at home.

Judges Lee and Joshua Kolar also cited research findings of child sexual abuse images in a major dataset used to train image-generating AI.

That raises the possibility that supposedly artificial material could still be connected to the exploitation of real children.

Unfortunately, the judges said the issue was not sufficiently developed in Anderegg’s case to decide it.

Justice Clarence Thomas warned about this problem as far back as 2002, suggesting technological advances could eventually make virtual depictions indistinguishable from images involving actual victims.

The decision will now only be reversed if the Supreme Court agrees to revisit its earlier ruling.

Trump Says Iran’s Oil Hub Kharg Island Is Being Blown “TO SMITHEREENS” (VIDEO)
August 31, 2026

Trump posted an AI-generated video showing Kharg Island being blown up.

President Trump issued a stunning message Sunday night indicating that Iran’s most important oil-export hub was under devastating attack.

“Kharg Island being blown to smithereens!!! President DJT,” Trump announced on Truth Social.

Trump’s post included a dramatic AI-generated video depicting explosions across the island.

Neither the White House nor the Department of War had publicly confirmed a new attack on Kharg Island’s oil facilities. Reuters reported that Iranian state media had also issued no immediate response.

Kharg Island is the crown jewel of Iran’s energy industry. Before the war, the island handled approximately 90 percent of the regime’s oil exports.

Earlier Sunday, US forces conducted a confirmed strike against two Iranian rocket launchers on Larak Island, roughly 410 miles east of Kharg Island.

US Central Command said Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces were observed preparing to launch rockets carrying sea mines into the Strait of Hormuz.

CENTCOM described the operation as a “limited, precise action” against Iranian forces posing an “imminent threat” to civilian mariners, commercial vessels, and international commerce.

“In essence, Iran created the threat and the U.S. military eliminated it to protect civilian mariners, commercial shipping, and the free flow of global commerce,” CENTCOM said, according to the Associated Press.

The official CENTCOM account identified the immediate threat as IRGC preparations to deploy rockets carrying sea mines into the Strait of Hormuz.

The Iranian regime later retaliated by firing ballistic missiles at two US bases in Jordan.

Jordan’s armed forces reportedly intercepted eight missiles that entered the country’s airspace. Nearly all the incoming missiles were shot down, and no significant damage was immediately reported.
