Tatiana Maslany is an actress who starred in the 2022 television miniseries ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.’ She recently appeared on a podcast for the far left outlet Zeteo, which was founded in part by former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan.

During the course of their discussion, Maslany indicated that she is annoyed with other celebrities who fail to use their positions to advocate for progressive politics, claiming that politics is already in everything.

She even called out Tom Selleck by name for some strange reason.

Christian Toto, the right-leaning entertainment critic, wrote about this at his website, Hollywood in Toto:

The “Orphan Black” and “She-Hulk” alum shared her views on politically outspoken stars in a new podcast chat. She spoke with Medhi Hasan on the Zeteo podcast. Hasan is a far-Left journalist who once anchored his own MSNBC show.

The actress whose Disney+ show ran for one inglorious season, said it’s odd that she’s able to not just speak but have so many people care about what she has to share.

That, she continues, is a chance that cannot be squandered.

“I’m part of a system. I have to speak on it,” Maslany said. “To me, if artists are like mirrors to the world, to society, we have to name things, whether it’s emotionally mirroring to people the human experience, or it’s speaking out, or it’s naming something. It’s such an important, intrinsic part of our job.”

Hasan, wearing a Save Gaza T-shirt, glumly nods along before pressing Maslany about actors who don’t speak out. He specifically mentioned Tom Selleck. The TV superstar has spent decades entertaining the public, but he doesn’t bludgeon them with his political views…

The far-Left host also referenced NBA great Michael Jordan’s famous quote about Republicans buying sneakers.

Not good enough, Maslany says.

“All of it is political. Like, everything is political. All entertainment is political because it has a viewpoint and it has a perspective, it has a visual representation of the world we live in, or the kinds of things that are funny or acceptable,” she said.

Democrat Ericka Lomick has suspended her campaign for Texas House District 93 after questions surfaced about a federal felony conviction.

Lomick announced the decision Monday. “After careful consideration, I have made the decision to suspend my campaign for House District 93,” she said. “Although this was not an easy decision, I am convinced that it was the right one for the people of HD 93.”

Her campaign said questions had arisen about her eligibility to serve as the district’s representative. It said she was stepping aside so voters could elect someone “without the burden of defending against attacks that would threaten to derail the business of the people.”

The scrutiny followed opposition research posted Sept. 17 by Protect and Serve Texas PAC. The PAC cited a federal mortgage-fraud case, a 63-month prison sentence, and an alleged $300,000 federal lien.

“Federal court records show Lomick, known then as Ericka Flood, was charged in 2010 as part of a federal mortgage fraud investigation in North Carolina,” Texas Scorecard reported. The outlet cited federal prosecutors as saying she was involved in the scheme as a mortgage broker and promoter.

Federal records reviewed by The Dallas Express indicated prosecutors charged her with mortgage-fraud conspiracy, bank fraud, money-laundering conspiracy, and concealment money laundering. Court records show she pleaded guilty in 2011 and received concurrent federal prison terms, including 63 months.

Lomick later sought to vacate the sentence, alleging ineffective assistance of counsel. A federal district judge denied the motion in 2012. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit dismissed a later appeal as untimely.

Under Texas law, a person convicted of a felony is generally ineligible to be a candidate for public office unless pardoned or otherwise released. The Texas secretary of state noted that finishing a sentence alone does not restore eligibility.

Lomick previously told the Fort Worth Report she had never been convicted of a crime “in any state.” Sarah Fields posted that Lomick’s candidate application checked a box stating she had not been convicted of a felony.

Knowingly giving false information on a candidate application about felony-conviction status is a Class B misdemeanor under state guidance.

The Protect and Serve Texas PAC also alleged an assistant U.S. attorney filed a $300,000 lien against Lomick with the Tarrant County clerk in January 2024, tied to restitution from the 2011 judgment. The Dallas Express said it had not independently verified the current status of that lien.

Lomick ran unopposed in the March Democratic primary and received 14,140 votes.

The Tarrant County district will appear twice on the Nov. 3 ballot: the regular general election and a special election to finish the unexpired term of former Rep. Nate Schatzline, who resigned. Gov. Greg Abbott ordered the special election on Aug. 20.

Republican nominee Alan Blaylock, a former Fort Worth city councilman, remains in the race. He told Texas Scorecard that Lomick “was rushed to file and was not prepared to run.”

Lomick said the community’s spirit had inspired her and that her commitment to the district “remains unchanged” even though the campaign has ended.

Judge Judy just told the truth the left cannot stand.

In a new interview published Tuesday by USA TODAY, Judy Sheindlin dropped the hammer on the crowd that lives in the United States, enjoys its wealth and freedom, and then spends every waking hour trashing the place.

“I have a house, and I have a home. I consider America my home. America has been good to me. I think that it’s the greatest country in the world,” Sheindlin said.

Sheindlin continued, “If you don’t like this country, go somewhere else. Don’t come to the greatest country in the world, the most successful country in the world, and say, “I want to change it.” There are other countries that are the something else that you want. Go there. Go there. But don’t come into my home and say, “I want to change it.”

The comments come as CBS airs the 90-minute special Judge Judy: Unfiltered, Unforgettable tonight at 8 p.m. ET, marking 30 years since Judge Judy first hit the air. Sheindlin, who turns 84 on October 21, is wrapping on-camera work and handing the daytime bench to her son, Judge Adam Levy. She is not going quietly.

Sheindlin wasn’t finished. Talking about the year ahead, she specifically tore into socialism and the people who want to sand down American excellence until everyone is equally mediocre.

“You may say, “I want to give more people opportunity. I want to change certain things—the way, certain things, the way we do business.” But we are a capitalist country that revered excellence, that revered entrepreneurship, that revered all the things that made us great, that produced an Apple, an Amazon, AI—whether you like it or not, it’s there.”

“We did that because we encouraged brilliance and excellence,” she continued.

Then she demolished the favorite slogan of the leveling Left:

“You said, ‘Everybody should be equal.’ Well, everybody’s not equal. Some people are tall. Some people are short. Some people are musical. Some people are not. Some people have big breasts. Some people have no breasts. They’re different.”

“Don’t come into my house, which is a perfect house, and tell me, “Looks nice from the outside, but I’m going to change it inside to make it more of what we like: a more vanilla gray, everything muted colors. Look, that’s the way we should be living today.” Don’t come here to redecorate. You don’t like my house? Stay in your own house or find a different house.”

This is not the first time Sheindlin has refused to play along with the fashionable script.

As The Gateway Pundit reported in June 2024, she sat down with Chris Wallace and called Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against President Donald Trump “nonsense,” saying Bragg was wasting taxpayer money for “personal self-aggrandizement” instead of getting criminals off the streets of New York. In a blow to another fake progressive narrative, the number of violent deaths involving transgender Americans has fallen sharply under the Trump presidency.

This comes despite repeated claims from far-left activists that President Trump’s policies would fuel an epidemic of violence against trans people.

According to figures compiled by Advocates for Trans Equality and highlighted by The Boston Globe, violent deaths fell from 53 in 2023 to 27 in 2025, a decline of nearly 50 percent.

The Human Rights Campaign has reported a similar trend. Its figures show violent deaths peaking at 47 in 2021 before falling to 27 in 2025.

The decline comes after years of increasingly dramatic warnings from transgender activists and progressive organizations about the consequences of Republican-backed restrictions.

These have included bans on transgender participation in women’s sports, medical procedures for minors, and other gender-related policies.

Some activists have gone much further, describing the political climate under Trump as a form of “genocide” and warning that transgender people may need to flee the United States.

Yet the numbers published by LGBT advocacy groups themselves show violence moving in the opposite direction.

Both the Human Rights Campaign and Advocates for Trans Equality insist transgender Americans face serious threats compared to the average population.

But their own published figures show a substantial fall in violent deaths from recent peaks.

The trend also comes amid a broader decline in violent crime across the country.

FBI data for 2025 showed declines in both murder and reported hate-crime incidents compared with the previous year.

Even the Globe admits that the data cut against the prevailing narrative surrounding violence against transgender Americans.

However, there remains a major issue of transgender people committing despicable acts of violence.

The Gateway Pundit has reported on numerous violent crimes committed by transgenders, a trend that is likely driven by their consumption of mind-altering drugs.

In March 2023, Audrey Hale, who identified as male, murdered six people, including three 9-year-old children, at The Covenant School in Nashville before being shot dead by police.

Then, in August 2025, Robin Westman, who had legally changed his name after identifying as female, opened fire during a Catholic school Mass in Minneapolis, killing two children and injuring 17 others before taking his own life.

Austin Police released bodycam footage of the moments after a Venezuelan illegal alien was shot by an ICE officer over the weekend.

An ICE agent shot and wounded a Venezuelan illegal alien during a confrontation in the 7000 block of West Anderson Lane in North Austin on Sunday afternoon.

The wounded illegal was transported to a local hospital and in stable condition.

According to reports, an ICE SUV rammed into the illegal alien’s blue Toyota Corolla when he tried to drive away.

An ICE agent got out of his vehicle and shot the illegal as he tried to flee.

The illegal, identified as Wilbur Rafael Garces Perez, claimed that police officers yanked him out of the car after he was shot.

Police bodycam footage shows officers gently helped him out of the vehicle and cuffed him.
