A federal judge on Monday halted the Trump Administration’s renovation project at the East Potomac Golf Course.

US District Judge Ana Reyes, a Biden appointee, excoriated Trump DOJ lawyers during a hearing on Monday morning.

Uruguayan-born Judge Reyes said Trump Admin lawyers had told her that the administration would alert her if they were taking “irreversible” actions at the DC golf course.

The Trump Administration removed more than 400 trees from the East Potomac Golf Course over the weekend, and Judge Reyes flipped out.

“I’m furious,” Judge Reyes said on Monday morning.

“What has happened has cost the government all of its credibility,” Reyes added.

Judge Reyes screamed at the DOJ lawyers: “Ignorance is not an excuse!”

REYES is yelling now. “Ignorance is not an excuse” she tells DOJ after they say they weren’t aware of the details of the tree-cutting plan, despite having an inkling.

Stephen Miller blasted the crazed, foreign-born judge.

“I missed the part of the Constitutional Convention that put federal judges in charge of golf course maintenance. The Left is endlessly enraged that, after allowing DC to decay for decades, the Trump Administration is making it safe, clean and beautiful,” said Trump Deputy Chief of Staff for policy Stephen Miller.

Also, notice that leftist judges are never “enraged” when Democrats free illegal alien rapists and murderers. That kind of anger is reserved solely for improving long-neglected public golf courses.

U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes on Monday ordered a 24-hour halt to tree cutting at the East Potomac Golf Course, a historic D.C. golf course that has been part of President Donald Trump’s plans to remake the city.

Reyes issued the order following a tense three-hour hearing in which she blistered the government for having deceived her with its actions over the holiday weekend.

Reyes said the 24-hour temporary order could be extended to 14 days if necessary. It was limited to one day while the government tries to find a key Trump administration official to discuss why a massive tree-cutting at the park needed to occur over the holiday weekend, with little notification to plaintiffs in a lawsuit trying to halt renovation plans or the judge.

The hearing started with a blistering 15-minute statement from Reyes, who has declined repeated motions from the plaintiffs to halt work by the administration out of concern that its strategy has seemed to be move ahead on projects despite court actions.
