Nationwide anger continues to simmer over a shocking medical error that permanently ruined the lives of several people at a Nashville hospital earlier this week, as the hospital’s CEO is now in the spotlight.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Multiple patients went into cardiac arrest after a ‘pharmacy error’ led to a dangerous drug mix-up at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital. They were given the wrong medication before surgery.

The four patients were reportedly given potassium instead of an anesthetic. The dangerous mix-up happened at the hospital’s in-house pharmacy.

As CBS notes, too much potassium administered too quickly can stop a person’s heart.

The hospital later said they were “sorry” for injecting the patients with too much potassium. But nobody is in the mood for accepting the apology.

Users on social media quickly discovered that the President and CEO of Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital is an Indian native, Dr. Shubhada Jagasia. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in Mumbai, India.

Under Jagasia’s leadership, Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital was named as one of the 10 best hospitals in Tennessee by U.S. News and World Report.

But Americans remained fixated on her Indian education, suggesting that the error occurred in part because Jagasia lacked credible educational qualifications. There is no evidence of this.

Most medical schools in America have higher standards than those in India.

The Democrat Party has lurched so far into the socialist abyss that even longtime Trump hater and former Kamala Harris surrogate Mark Cuban believes his only viable path to the White House would be through the Republican Party.

During an appearance on the Pivot podcast with liberal journalist Kara Swisher, Cuban discussed whether he might eventually run for president and admitted that the Democrat Party’s increasingly radical base would make it impossible for him to win its nomination.

Swisher suggested to Cuban that he should run as a Republican to “f*ck them up.”

Cuban responded:

“That’s what I would do. I can’t win as a Democrat, not with the DSAs and all that sh** there.”

He continued, acknowledging the chaos on the left: “I think people just look for things that are not what is, they’re looking for something different. Right? Went from the Tea Party to… hope and change, Tea Party, Trump, not Trump, J6, now DSA, anything that’s different.”

Cuban even referenced a buddy who stopped voting for Democrats after a lifetime of disappointment: “I’ve been voting for Democrats my entire life. You know what they’ve done for me? Nothing. Why would I vote for a politician again?”

When Swisher pressed him to do it just to drive Republicans crazy: “J.D. Vance’s head would blow off.”

Cuban grinned: “Yeah. And the competitive side of me likes that part, but doesn’t like the governing part at all…

Despite admitting that the DSA’s growing influence would prevent him from winning a Democrat presidential primary, Cuban used the very same interview to effectively endorse far-left Texas Democrat Senate nominee James Talarico.

When Swisher asked Cuban for a political prediction, he immediately named Talarico.

“I’m a big fan. I’m a huge fan,” Cuban said, adding that Talarico has a “real chance to win.”

Talarico previously submitted a video message to a College Democrats conference featuring socialist candidates and communist influencer Hasan Piker, who appeared dressed in Mao Zedong-style clothing.

Cuban may recognize that the Democrat Party has become too radical for him to win its presidential nomination, but he apparently has no problem helping its radical candidates win elections.

Vice President JD Vance served beers and hot dogs at a bar in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Friday.

The Vice President told Newsmax that Ohio is the perfect place to talk about Trump’s economic nationalism, which is rebuilding America’s middle class.

Vance was joined by Republican Ohio Rep. Eric Conroy for a rally in Middleton, Ohio, ahead of the midterm elections.

The “America First” rally was held at the steel plant where Vance’s grandfather worked.

“Returning today as the Vice President of the United States, standing in the exact steel mill where my Papaw worked for decades to put food on the table, I couldn’t help but feel immense pride,” Vance said during Friday’s rally.

“Pride not only of where I came from and the impact places like this had on who I became, but proud to share the amazing news of investment being made here in Middletown, Ohio,” he said.

“Thanks to President Trump’s economic agenda that puts America First, the future of the United States is not going to be sold out to the highest foreign bidder,” Vance said.

“The future of American industry and manufacturing is going to be built in towns all across these great United States,” Vance added.

After the rally, Vance and Rep. Conroy traveled to Cincinnati and served beers and chili dogs at the historic Price Hill Chili restaurant.

“What’s better, Skyline or Price Hill Chili?” Vance said as he walked into the bar.

“I guess I knew this but forgot it, that this district used to be very hard for Republicans to win, but we’ve redrawn it, and it’s now one of the 10 most competitive races in the country!” Vance said.

Jesse Kelly of “The First” talked with Carol Roth about the massive size of the national debt and how it is rapidly increasing.

The US spends approximately $1 trillion annually on paying the national debt’s interest alone.

“We have to talk about the national debt. We just hit $40 trillion. That more than doubled in a decade,” Kelly said.

“I care, but it’s hard to care. I mean, the national debt was $35 trillion. Then it was 36. It was 38. Now it’s 40, and these numbers are just so astronomical and depressing,” Kelly said.

“There are two things that everybody should take away because, like you said, $40 trillion is really hard to get your head wrapped around that,” Roth said.

“One is how quickly that is growing. So, I remember when we crossed the $20 trillion mark. That was in, I think, the second quarter of 2017, which was less than ten years ago,” Roth said.

“We added $20 trillion, doubled the debt within the last ten years. That’s just staggering,” Roth continued.

“The second piece is the amount that it costs to finance all of the debt,” Roth said.

“The challenge is that we no longer have what was referred to as the exorbitant privilege, where we had all of these countries around the world which would buy our debt no matter what because they wanted to put it in their reserves,” Roth said.

“In the past, we were able to finance on the cheap. For the past ten to twelve years, they have actually been net sellers, so it means that if we can find someone to buy our debt, they are going to be price-sensitive. They are not gonna buy it on the cheap,” Roth warned.

“Our financing costs continue to be higher. We have more and more debt we need to finance. We have trillions in debt we need to refinance, and so that’s all adding to these crazy interest costs,” Roth explained.

“You cannot have a successful country when you have that debt load, and you need to finance it at market rates,” Roth continued.

“They will not address the fraud. They will not address the waste. They will not, you know, change the way that we do things to make it more palatable,” Roth said.

“If they continue to do that, eventually we will have a financial crisis, and part of the affordability crisis that everybody is facing across this country, which is, you know, number one on the tops of American minds,” Roth continued.

“The NATO ‌member established the Finnmark Brigade last year, forming the country’s second brigade and the first one set up since the end of the Cold War. Both brigades have their headquarters ​in the Arctic.

Norway has more than doubled its defense spending to 3,17% of GDP, from just 1,5% back in 2014.

“One of the Finnmark Brigade’s main duties until now was ​to surveil and patrol the 198-km (123-mile) border Norway shares with Russia.

It is being ​expanded to include an artillery battalion, air defense battery and communications company that will enable it ‌to carry ⁠out certain actions, such as firing at targets on land some 40 km away or coordinating firing with planes and ships from both Norwegian and NATO forces.”

The Barents Observer reported:

“The NASAMS and NOMADS missile systems might become part of the Finnmark Brigade, the commander of a newly established combat air defense unit confirmed to the National Defense Magazine (Forsvarets Forum).

According to Commander Brede Brandskognes, new air defense systems will be incorporated into the unit in 2027. ‘The new combat air defense battery in the Finnmark Brigade is set to have a layered air defense system within the next few years’, Brandskognes explained to the National Defense Magazine.

The innermost layer of defense will be based on Piorun MANPADS, followed by C-UAS (an anti-drone system) and armoured air defense vehicles. Finally, there will be the medium-range missiles.”

A teenage girl in Tennessee set the Internet on fire earlier this week after coming out of nowhere to tackle a middle school football player.

As WTMV reported, 16-year-old Addison Hunnicutt was attending a Middle Tennessee middle school football game Tuesday night between South Middle School and Cornersville Middle School in Winchester when she sprang into action. Her brother plays for Cornersville.

As the video below shows, Hunnicutt races onto the field following a stoppage in play due to a penalty and tackles a black South Middle School Player to the ground.

She then shoves him back onto the ground when he tries to get up.

Following the incident, Hunnicutt was removed from the field and later charged with assault and disorderly conduct by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. She was also given a lifetime ban from Franklin County Schools properties.

Police also told Hunnicutt she was forbidden from attending any more Cornerville Middle School games.

On Thursday, Hunnicutt spoke out about her ordeal and revealed there was more to the story.

Hunnicutt explained to WTVF on Thursday that she witnessed her brother getting continuously assaulted by the South Middle School player.

He first grabbed her brother’s face mask and spun him around several times. Then, he slugged Hunnicutt’s little brother in the ribs, prompting her on-court storming.

“I wasn’t going after this kid just to go after him,” Hunnicutt explained. “That wasn’t my intention at all. Seeing what they were doing to him and no one stopping it, that kind of made me the last choice.”

“Somebody has to stop this.”

Hunnicutt’s mother, Elizabeth Chumbley, did not excuse her daughter’s actions but sympathized with her.

“I made sure she understood quickly that her behavior, that was inappropriate, and you should not have jumped over the fence,” Chumbley told WTMV.

“I’m seeing my son on the ground being attacked,” she said. “This wasn’t just a football play. This is him on the ground being physically attacked by this other player.”

The South Middle School player’s father, Brandon Taylor, praised his son’s ‘character’ and ‘restraint’ in a Facebook post following the incident.

“I was at the game. I greeted my son afterward, and even in that moment, his first response was, ‘She better be glad she’s a girl.’ That alone says a lot about his character. He had every reason to be angry, yet he still showed restraint, Taylor wrote.

“My son is a true gentleman, and he did not deserve to be tackled, pushed, or humiliated on the field. He is a 13-year-old child, and I will always stand up for him and protect him,” Taylor added.
